Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 198 Lily and Natalia’s New Skills, Meeting of Rats

December 20th, the clock hit 7 p.m., and Nataliaʼs eyes opened as the Advanced Skill Scroll in her hand vanished.

She finished learning the Light elemental skill--Nexus of Aurus Light!

ʼThis is an awesome skill! Iʼm going to be op! Not to mention, the training inside increased my light elemental mastery. Advanced Skill Scroll is freaking amazing!ʼ

She was hopeful because her Light elemental Mastery reached close to the peak of A-rank during the training, and she was close to breaking through to S-rank!

The training that Advanced Skill Scroll gave her significantly helped her in regards to increasing her Light mastery!

Natalia was excited and quickly opened her training result, wanting to see what starting rank she got for this skill.

[Nexus of Aurus Light]

-Type: Active (Growth-type)

-Rank: SSS

-Cost: 20% of Maximum Mana. Additional Mana to infuse Light energy in the Nexus.

-Aurus Light: [0/100,000]

-Details:

—> Using the skill, manifest a Nexus that gathers and stores light energy from your own Mana and also from lightness and brightness in the surrounding atmosphere to generate Aurus Light. You can then use Nexus to release Aurus Light effects from your body, with gestures and intent aimed at targets visible in your sensing range.

—Effect(s):

—> Aurus Lightburn Pierce: Unleashes a fast, piercing burning beam to any target within your sensing range, dealing damage based on Aurus Light consumed to release this.

—Aurus Light Healing Beam: Unleashes a pure positive healing beam that expells harmful energies from an individual and heal their wounds, external or internal.

”Holy fucking light, letʼs fucking go!” Natalia squealed in excitement and quickly used the skill as a mystical and aesthetic-looking nexus of semi-crystal and semi-energy based appeared with a golden crystal spinning at its center.

It was already gathering light energy as it was brightening up, and Natalia could see the gauge filling up!

”The sun can fill it up fast, huh? Awesome!” Natalia could see it was the sunʼs effect!

Natalia gestured her fingers to make her hand look like a pistole and aimed at Dark Pope, who was at the beach sitting on a chair with his dark wisps patrolling the northeast side.

She moved her hand a bit and aimed at one of his dark wisps.

”Bam.”

An intense power of light coursed through Nataliaʼs body as she consumed 1000 Aurus Light from the Nexus instantly before the Aurus Lightburn Pierce released it from her finger.

”Ouch! Hey, lass. Why are you destroying my puppies?”

”Hehe, just testing out my skill,” Natalia replied in Magic Whisper. ”How was it?”

”Pretty good, though not powerful enough.”

”Of course, I just used 1% of its power,” Natalia snorted. ”And I can heal and attack both.”

She was technically right. 1000 Aurus Light was 1% of the total amount of Aurus Light the Nexus could store.

”Ayo, then itʼs a very good skill. Nice gain, lass. But donʼt kill my dark puppies. Iʼm connected to them, so I feel pain.”

”I can heal you with my Aurus Light Healing Beam, want me to do it?”

”…”

Natalia burst out laughing, ”Iʼm just joking. Alright, I wonʼt disturb you anymore. Thanks for guarding us, Ben.”

”Aye.”

Your journey continues with empire

…

Natalia went downstairs to eat since she was ”hungry as fuck”— Her words, not mine.

After eating, she directly fell asleep on the sofa.

An hour later, Lily was also done with her training as her Advanced skill scroll vanished.

ʼYes!ʼ Lilyʼs eyes glinted, feeling thrilled as she looked at her new passive skill.

[Umbral Shards]

-Type: Passive (Growth-type)

-Rank: SSS

-Cost: —

-Umbral Shards: [0/10]

-Details: Any dark-type skills you use will generate Umbral Shards, up to 10.

-Effect(s):

—> You can infuse an Umbral Shard in any of your skills that deal damage, increasing its dark-attributed effects by 50%, damage by 50%, and penetrative power by 50%.

”Perfect addition to enhance my combat power,” Lily grinned.

Turning to Almond, she saw that he had an Advanced Skill scroll in his hand.

ʼDid he finish his Weapon Art training?ʼ Lily blinked. ʼI also have to start my weapon art training now.ʼ

ʼBut first, I need to eat.ʼ

Kissing Almond on his cheek, she wished him good luck and got up before jumping down gracefully and entering the house.

After ordering and eating something, she also slept on a different big sofa like Natalia as she began snoring swiftly.

….

Both of them woke up four to five hours later, one after another, freshened up and continued training.

Natalia used an Insight Stone, hoping the stone would produce a sound power-related dimension and send her mind there so she could increase her Sound elemental mastery.

She found herself in a landless world, filled with the phenomenon of different colored lights taking the shape of monsters, beasts, and other things she had never seen before and the waves they produced.

ʼWhat the hell is this? Is it a dimension mix of Light and Sound powers ?ʼ Natalia was surprised, and then her expression turned determined.

ʼI have only 24 hours. I have to gain as much insight as I can from this!ʼ

Meanwhile, Lily finally began training on her Weapon Art—Umbral Reaperʼs Shadowy Gloom.

She arrived in a nightscape of absolute darkness, with the only source of brightness being the gloomy purple, violet, orange, and blue hues of neon lights produced by gloomy plants in the meadow.

[The token will vanish once you have learned the three stages of your Weapon Art. Afterward, you may develop this Weapon Artʼs further stages based on your potential, knowledge, comprehension, and technique.]

[Level 1: During the first level of the training, the clone will only use the first stage of Umbral Reaperʼs Shadowy Gloom—Dance of Gloomy Reaper.]

[Observe, Understand, Learn, and Conquer. All the best.]

ʼWhere is my clone?ʼ Lily frowned.

But in the next second, she found darkness overwhelming her before she felt her mind avatar cutting into five pieces.

ʼW-What the fuck?ʼ

And thus began Lilyʼs turn to endure torturous deaths like Almond in this training.

Although her Weapon Art was obviously not as powerful as Almondʼs since it was based on three SSS-rank skills, the Synthesis Forge of Eternal Power did cook something powerful from those three for her with extremely high difficulty.

…

Meanwhile, the scattered rats of the underworld finally gathered once again at the call of Hollowstar Emissory.

”Emissory said that this meeting is very important and we are to receive an important guest.”

”Tsk, who is it, I wonder?”

”Itʼd be better if the emissary could rope in one of the old monsters.”

”Thatʼs almost impossible unless the emissary can coerce one of them.”

”Silence, he is here.”

In the dark hall, all twenty-one individuals wore the same black cloak with hazy white and blue patterns and a strange symbol of a spiral with an eye in the middle at the center.

In the center of the table, the emissaryʼs visage appeared, looking hazy and slightly blurry.

”My subordinate will arrive on this planet in twelve hours. He will crash into the inhabited frozen tundra. Before GAA or Earth Unions detects him, you are to receive him and get him into hiding.”

”What?! You mean he is coming from outer space?”

Everyone was shocked. They thought the emissary was going rope in a new powerful individual, but they were completely wrong!

”Thatʼs right. He is riding on a small meteoroid, and the expected arrival is eleven hours and fifty-three minutes.”

”But there are GAA and Earth Union satellites equipped with new magitech weapons that work to destroy incoming meteoroids now,” one of the rats spoke with a frown.

”No worries. This meteoroid is special, and it wonʼt be detected until it enters the Earthʼs atmosphere, and by then, itʼll be too late. It will crash, so get ready and move out now.”

Hearing the sternness in the voice, everyone replied in unison, ”Understood!”
