Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 189 Admiral Rudra’s Status, Old Monsters’ Stat Increasing Method

Almond was focused on mastering Memory Slip and only snapped out when he finally made the first proper Memory Slip.

He looked at the time and saw that it took two hours and fourteen minutes for him to learn Memory Slip.

ʼThirteen minutes extra than what my intuition said…not good. This is not good enough. I should have learned it in under two hours.ʼ

Looking at the wristwatch, he had gotten an mail from Admiral Rudra.

ʼItʼs from twenty-seven minutes ago? Donʼt tell me…ʼ Almond quickly opened the mail and wryly smiled.

[Brat, it took me over ten minutes to get that damn scroll and unlock it. That was pretty good, and I learned something, haha. Anyway, Iʼve learned the memory slip and am onboard the jet. Iʼll arrive there in an hour.]

ʼDamn!ʼ

…

After Admiral Rudra arrived, Almond first checked his status since he couldnʼt do that during the video call.

”Admiral, donʼt mind me checking your stats. Iʼm curious,” Almond said with a grin as they walked inside.

”Go ahead.”

[Rudra Deva]

-Adventurer rank: Platinum

-Level: 150

-Class: ??? (SSS)

-Specialized Class: Sorcerery Breaker (SSS)

-Sub Class: ??? (S)

-[Vitality: 100%]

-[Mana: 5000/5000]

-Stats: — Explore new worlds at empire

—Physical:

↳[Strength: 391 | Health: 386 | Stamina: 395]

—Mental:

↳[Mana: 397 | Focus: 400 | Perception: 400]

—Will: 193

ʼWhat the fuck?ʼ Almond was dumbfounded.

Almond was sure Admiral Rudraʼs classes also gave bonus stats since the main two of his classes were at SSS rank, but he didnʼt know about their details except for the name of his specialized class, so his bonus stats werenʼt reflected on the stats displayed to him.

”Why do you have Focus and Perception maxed in foundational? And all other stats are also so close to the limit…”

Admiral Rudra laughed, ”Did you think you could only increase stats by eating fruits? Well, there are other ways. They are harder, way harder, but all old monsters have high stats near the foundational limit.”

”They are always in training to increase those stats along with improving themselves, which is why you donʼt see them in public or in media. We also directly take on the second cycle of the Labyrinth instead of entering in the first.”

Almondʼs eyes shone, ”What kind of training?”

”Multiple kinds,” Admiral Rudra laughed. ”Itʼs not something you teach to others. What we do is simply work on the concept of training ourselves in a way that increases our stats.”

”Like how people working out daily and in more intensity, eating properly, and more training makes them stronger physically. Just like that, we create our own unique training using Mana and other wonders we explore ourselves about our body thanks to the access to magic which grants us the ability to see deep within ourselves, physically and mentally.”

”Iʼll give you the best example of it,” Admiral Rudra opened his palm in a claw-like manner. Every fingerʼs tip glowed with a dreamy lapis blue glow.

”The training I created to increase stats is the best one because Iʼm ahead of all of them in stats. Naturally, these personal training are also our personal secrets that we donʼt share with each other for rivalry. Though itʼs up to them if they teach to people close to them.”

Almond nodded, curious about the training, as he didnʼt interrupt Admiral.

”The training I created to increase Focus and Perception is based on our brain,” Admiral Rudra put his palm on Almondʼs head. ”Try to feel it. Iʼll tell you how it works, though I canʼt activate it on you right now, or youʼll be in trouble.”

”Got it.”

”Feel and see the three points in your brain where my Mana is touching. What they do is make your thoughts extremely sluggish, make your thinking extremely slow to form and process, and make your emotions go out of control.”

”Emotions getting out of control in that state will enhance your emotions by a thousandfold. If you feel angry, you will feel the peak of anger. You will want to destroy everything or anything that you react to when you are angry. Same with every other emotion.”

ʼDamn. Thatʼs dangerous.ʼ

”Now, despite being in this state that can make you crazy, you have to focus on a single thing, a task, or whatever you aim to focus on and understand. You have to try to maintain your focus during this state. The longer you are able to focus on that thing and increase your understanding of it while in this state, the more your Focus and Perception will increase.”

”And I always train in this method in a dungeon because you will always lose control eventually in the end and go crazy. So the condition is to be in an environment where your chances of death are low, and the destruction you cause doesnʼt affect others.”

Almond wryly smiled, ”Thatʼs crazy. So you just wait until you cool down?”

”In short, yes. But that experience of being totally lost and your mental status after you return to normal directly affects your Focus and Perception. So you might increase it after that or have a reduction in them.”

”Did you have a reduction?” Almond curiously asked.

”Yes. I had, but only once,” Admiral Rudra smiled. ”Now, enough about this. You donʼt even need to bother creating such training methods.”

Almond grinned, ”True, but this information is very helpful to me. I feel like this is an important door that Iʼve opened by getting to know this.”

”Hahaha, thatʼs good. Iʼd be disappointed if your mind didnʼt explore more possibilities from this.”

Almond rubbed his nose while smiling. ”Anyway, the memory slip is ready. Iʼve already entered the memory of my fights, so youʼll have a complete idea of current power.”

”Good, and I have a feeling youʼll be way stronger after seven days,” Admiral Rudra wryly smiled. ”I can already feel your aura sharper and stronger than ever.”

”Hehe, I want to see if you can still break my skills and attacks after watching that memory slip,” Almond grinned. ”Weʼll have a spar.”

”Already getting arrogant, eh?” Admiral Rudra laughed, ”Alright, weʼll have a spar once I finish watching this. Thereʼs a dungeon nearby in the ocean, so weʼll go there.”

”Awesome.”
