Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 145 Rudra’s Scheme (1/2)

”We checked the individual rewards we got based on contribution,” Natalia said after chewing the meatball. ”We got mid-tier Epic-rank items this time.”

”But they wonʼt be a match to your Epic-rank items, so…” Marcus coughed and drank a glass of buttermilk. ”Man, I love this buttermilk.”

”But instead of skill scrolls, the four of us got a universal skill-upgrade card this time,” Maya said before she dipped the meatball into some sauce and took a bite.

”You got one card or two?” Lily curiously asked Almond.

Almond checked the notification.

[Contibution Ranking and additional Rewards]

Rank 1: Almond — MVP Reward Chest.

Rank 2: Lily — 2 x Epic Item Boxes, 1 x universal skill-upgrade card, 2 x Grand Abyss Labyrinth Roulette Tickets.

Rank 3: Natalia — 2 x Epic Item Boxes, 1 x universal skill-upgrade card, 1 x Grand Abyss Labyrinth Roulette Ticket.

Rank 4: Maya — 1 x Epic Item Box, 1 x Super-rank item box, 1 x universal skill-upgrade card, 1 x Grand Abyss Labyrinth Roulette Ticket.

Rank 5: Marcus — 1 x Epic Item Box, 1 x universal skill-upgrade card, 1 x Grand Abyss Labyrinth Roulette Ticket.

”Oh yeah, Iʼll have to open the box to check my reward,” Almond wryly smiled. ”Iʼll do that later.”

”Mhmm, letʼs finish eating first,” Lily nodded.

Almond looked at the status of his spirits while eating and sacrificed some normal monstersʼ spirits he had saved to revive his Spirit Wraiths earlier.

He could revive them cost-free after 24 hours, but he could also summon them after an hour by sacrificing a spirit. He had enabled this mechanism after inspecting his primary classʼ skill runes and the fundamental use of Spirits that his primary classʼs source could collect.

Almond couldnʼt help but feel that his Primary Class hid immense potential and that this class was also related to his innate talent—Heir of Oblivion.

ʼUniversal skill card is awesome. That makes three upgrade cards,ʼ Almond thought as he ate a few veggies. Remembering another thing, he eagerly opened the level-up boon tabs.

”Yo, did you all get a skill option?” Almond asked.

”I got one,” Lily said.

”I got none,” Natalia pouted.

”I got one,” Marcus grinned.

”I got none,” Maya disappointedly shook her head.

Almond sighed, ”I got none this time.”

”You were lucky enough to get two in the last ten level-ups,” Natalia rolled her eyes. ”Lily and Marcus got lucky and also got one this time, so they are the same as you now. Tsk.”

”By the way, how long are we resting this time?” Lily blinked. ”Weʼve told Kira to hold off on the 4th floorʼs floor boss fight, but there are others who wonʼt let her hold off for long.”

”Itʼs not even been a day, so I doubt theyʼve reached the floor boss zone yet,” Natalia snorted.

”Nope,” Almond shook his head. ”They might have reached there. They arenʼt interested in item drops from field bosses and other challenge rewards on the 4th floorʼs special areas. Their aim is to progress fast, so it wonʼt be strange if they are at the floor boss zone right now.”

”Damn, then we need to hurry, no?” Marcus exclaimed and started eating fast. ”Bwe habve tu get det flo-”

”Stop,” Maya rolled her eyes as she interrupted him. ”Eat first. But yeah, if they defeat the floor boss, would we be able to trigger Heroic Challenge during the labyrinthʼs first cycle?”

”Thatʼs indeed a question,” Lily wryly smiled.

”Letʼs finish eating fast and hurry to the 4th-floor boss zone,” Almond said with a severe expression. ”I donʼt want to miss out on the 4th floorʼs heroic boss. The rewards are better as we go higher floors, so we need the 4th floorʼs rewards if we want to defeat the 5th floorʼs heroic challenge boss.”

”Weʼll open the Leaderboard Party Reward box, your MVP reward chest, and Heroic Floor Boss reward chest in front of them,” Natalia grinned. ”Itʼs going to be fun to see their reaction.

Marcus quickly nodded with a stuffed mouth, ”Les fuging g-cough, cough.”

”…”

…

The group quickly finished eating and moved to the 4th floor together as everyone rode on the Starlight Beastʼs back and entered through the portal.

As the group rushed towards the floor boss zone of the 4th floor.

This labyrinth floor was the most exotic so far in terms of layout because it was a 200-kilometer radius of the ocean with islands that moved.

There was a pattern to these islands as they were positioned circularly, with the centermost island having the floor boss zone.

Continue your journey on empire

This floor had 50 starting areas, which were fifty islands at the periphery of the labyrinth floor.

These fifty islands moved clockwise on the sea.

Crossing through the spawning ships at every island, one could enter outer-ring islands and they moved anti-clockwise, their number reaching 25 islands.

Moving further towards the center after riding on a ship, adventurers would arrive at inner-area islands, a total of 10 islands.

And in the middle of these 10 islands that rotated clockwise was the largest island. The floor boss zone was at the center of this largest island.

Almond put away Starlight Beast and summoned Chimera Frank.

”Letʼs go. We are flying there,” Almond jumped on Chimera Frankʼs back and others also quickly followed.

After all, it was faster to fly instead of moving through the island, getting to the ship, crossing the sea, and repeating this to reach the center island.

And on the way, Almond finally scoured through his newly unsealed memories as he knew something very important had just been revealed to him.

…

While Almond and others had arrived at the 4th floor, the situation outside was progressing properly.

The twelve strongest teams of Adventurers, each one having one or two old monsters, had entered the S-grade dungeons.

These S-grade dungeons also had different colored borders, so it was important to make teams based on that.

Fortunately, there was only one gold-bordered S-grade dungeon. The others were either Red, Blue or White.

But Rudra had a big plan hidden within, and he had only relayed this to the old monsters in each party.
