Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 143 Heroic Challenge Floor Boss of Third Floor (1/2)

”Everyone, hold onto your powers until my command. Nyssara, coordinate with Mayaʼs freezing skill.”

”Understood,” Nyssara nodded as she opened her hand fan and walked towards Maya.

Almond adorned his badass Radiant Grimlord Set and only held one sword instead of two this time.

Lily also used her second specialized class skill—Dreadspire Call, right off the bat and used it on Chimera Viperfiend to fill up the gauge.

[Dreadspire Call]

-Skill rank: SSS

-Type: Toggle.

-Cost: 0.5% to n% of Blood every second.

-Effect:

—> While the skill is active, all attacks of the user, be they magical or physical or both, can drain the vitality of the target based on damage and fill up the gauge of Dreadspire Call. The higher the activation cost, the stronger the vitality drain. You can also channel drained vitality to another target.

—> Dreadspire Call-[0/100]: Once filled up, the user can call upon a Dreadspire Elemental to aid in combat. Once summoned, the gauge resets. These elementals have the same stats as the user. You can summon up to four at once.

—> Dreadspire Elementals: 1. Lupine of Darkened Flame, 2. Roc of Withered Wind, 3. Whale of Curseweaved Water, 4. Golem of Gloombound Earth.

When the countdown hit 20 seconds, Almond used Espada Ad Grimveil, as an ethereal domain appeared with a range of 200 meters radius.

His eyes flashed as Voidbound Rifts started forming in the domain, looking menacing as if tens of eyes of some mysterious omen were watching everyone.

Meanwhile, Lily also filled up the gauge once and summoned the Golem of Gloombound Earth.

The plan was to use the Golem of Gloombound Earth, whose main power was to slow the movement speed and action speed of the target with its Dreadspire elemental power.

Maya and Nyssara were already in sync as they were conjuring an orb of ice and water by combining their power.

Maya was using her Aquafrost Bow, pulling its string as an arrow had formed, and an ice-elemental orb with a water stream around it was conjured in front of the arrowʼs point.

Nyssara was keeping it in control alongside Maya while boosting its power, more specifically, the freezing attribute.

Natalia was also ready with her instruments summoned, her expression determined and focused. She wanted to generate the strongest melody of her instrument and release it in a compact and condensed manner guided by her flute to aim it perfectly.

Marcus was ready to defend and also activated his buff-type skills, one from his primary class that boosted everyoneʼs Strength and Health by 20%, and the effects from the Epic-rank set he wore to bolster defense and resistance against debuffs.

The countdown hit 0, and everyoneʼs pupils shrank as they focused on the tornado of sparkling green wind and dark red flames. It dispersed just as fast as it formed as a tall 10-foot-tall individual made an appearance, wearing an aesthetic light robe and holding a black staff with a crystal ball on top.

[Archmage Verenoor of Lochbale Castle]

-Rank: Special

-Type: Heroic Spirit

-Vitality: [100% / 100%]

-Mana: [30,000 / 30,000]

-Stats:

—Physical:

↳[Strength: 400 | Health: 4000 | Stamina: 1000]

—Mental:

↳[Mana: 3000 | Focus: 700 | Perception: 700]

”Maya and Natalia, wait for the chance to guarantee hit your control attacks because Iʼll make that chance,” Almond said as his aura burst out, and he vanished and directly used Absolute Sunderer in a vertical slash, intending to split Verenoor into two.”

Almond also teleported Golem of Gloombound Earth with him, but ten meters away from Verenoor.

The moment Almond teleported behind Verenoor, a powerful gust of wind threw him away.

But Almond was ready, his hawklike senses in his Focus Field finding the perfect chance to slightly disable the boss so that Maya and Natalia could strike him.

Lily was already preparing to use her Voidless Sunderer, waiting for the chance. A spirit syringe was floating beside her for her to use to empower the attack further.

Meanwhile, Verenoor thumped his staff on the ground the moment after pushing Almond away as strange dark red clouds with sparkling green streams formed above him.

”Whatʼs that?” Natalia muttered.

But everyone got their answer soon as the clouds suddenly released arrows at everyone, one for each one!

Marcus immediatly roared as he activated his full-powered defensive skill along with the setʼs effect to defend Lily, Maya, Natalia, and the spirit wraiths.

Sylvia also used her most powerful defensive skill, adding to the protection.

Almond commanded the remaining spirit wraiths to grab Verenoorʼs attention.

ʼAttack!ʼ

Verenoor saw the summons incoming and thumped his staff on the ground again, conjuring a dreadful tiger and a turtle made of dark red flame and sparkling green winds.

Almond halved Verenoorʼs perception by half and took it for himself, gaining a major boost himself and slowing down Vereneroonʼs reaction speed and decision-making speed.

Attacking at the perfect chance, Almond intended to split Verenoor into two this time.

*Swoosh!*

Maya and Natalia were tense and waiting, observing the situation. Lily was sacrificing her vitality fast and used the spirit syringe.

Only ten seconds have passed so far.

Almond slashed, his Absolute Severing enchanting his sword slashed Verenoor.

But instead of seeing him splitting into two, the turtle got split instead.

ʼFuck, damage and effect transfer?!ʼ

Natalia and Maya were about to let loose their attacks but greatly held back upon seeing that the attack didnʼt go as intended.

ʼFuck, I almost shot my skill,ʼ Natalia stomped on the ground.

Maya wryly smiled, sweat beads forming on her face even though she was literally using ice-powered skills.

The situation was highly tense because this boss was a freaking mage, and that meant everyone was in danger.

Verenoorʼs cloud above unleashed arrows on the spirit wraiths, especially Galveren, who was annoying Verenoor and had destroyed Verenoorʼs tiger.

The spirit wraiths couldnʼt dodge or defend against those destructive arrows as they got blasted into oblivion.

Stay connected with empire

Benedict, Infernal Knight, and Galvaren remained alive with their trait and gave their all, attacking Verenoor again with stronger strength while Almond gathered one more chance as he timely used Absolute Severing.

Benedictʼs Fallen Angel used darkness skill to blind and debuff Verenoor, slowing him down further, along with Lilyʼs Golem of Gloombound Earth, who was keeping Verenoor stuck to the ground, slowing his action and movement speed, though Verenoor wasnʼt moving at all.

The chance had appeared again, so Almond made his move.
