Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 110 Speed-Running Dungeons [Bonus Chapter]

Almond returned back to Firefly City and soon arrived at his courtyard.

Julian had arrived there early in the morning and was practicing the sword chopping.

His bare upper body with lean muscles was sweating, his eyes focused on just a single move.

Almond also heard clang~clang~ as he went inside the house after greeting Julian.

ʼSo that loaf is also here. Good,ʼ Almond smiled.

After he showered and ordered breakfast, he called Julian and Roken inside to eat.

”We are going to dungeons after I sleep for a bit. Julian, swing your sword in a way Iʼve told you, but against real flesh this time.”

Julian nodded, determined burning in his eyes. He wanted to get better!

”Roken, you will focus on gathering drops,” Almond said with a grin. ”I am going to speed run the dungeon because the plan is to clear twelve dungeons that are in this cityʼs territory in the surroundings.”

Both of them almost choked on the food.

”What? Twelve dungeons in a row?” Roken was dumbfounded.

”Thatʼs going to make your body and mind scream in exhaustion,” Julian frowned.

”Let me worry about that,” Almond ferociously smiled. ”Because I am not stopping before we clear those twelve dungeons. A little bit of madness is necessary in pursuit of power. Iʼll leave some monsters for you in each dungeon, Julian, so you can play with them and hone your swordplay.”

…

Almond wanted to clear as many dungeons as possible until the 1st of December for two reasons.

First, the dungeons were versatile, he wanted to feed his summons the magic crystals to increase their stats.

Second, he wanted as many Spirits as possible to create spirit items to gather gold coins as he wanted to buy 50 Super-rank items to sacrifice and unlock guaranteed Super-rank forge option.

After eating, Almond took a short nap of two hours while Julian also rested so he could train in the dungeons.

Two hours later, Almond, Julian, and Roken arrived at a Dungeon door on the ocean that wasnʼt too far from the beach.

It was a water and blood attributed dungeon, so Benedict could benefit from monstersʼ magic crystals.

Chimera Viperfiend and Chimera Frank were the most versatile in terms of attributes, but that also meant that they needed more magic crystals to get stat points.

After entering, Almond took out his Sword of Wildered and wore his usual items—Polan Tiger Belt, Lethal Fang Boots, and Snow Hide Cloak.

”Roken, donʼt miss any magic crystals, and try to find the magic crystal vein of this dungeon on the way.”

”Got it.”

”Julian, just focus on honing your swordplay to get the feeling I mentioned and reach that level. Infernal Knight and Alfred will accompany you.”

Julian nodded.

Almond then looked ahead at the sparkling green land littered with water bodies and rainbows.

”Letʼs start.”

*Swoosh!*

Strength Boost, Focus Field, Lightning-style Fortification!

He didnʼt use Body Enfold as he wanted to save some Mana as he didnʼt need Body Enfold to one-shot kill monsters of B-rank dungeons.

Dashing in, Almond jumped the nearest small pond after cutting off two Hammerfish monsters that jumped on him.

Inside, he saw that there was a passage and five more monsters.

ʼWell, well, water is my alley here,ʼ Almondʼs eyes glinted as he discharged electricity worth 200 Mana, damaging and paralyzing all monsters.

Afterward, he swam while tearing the water and fish alike as he entered through the passage and saw more passages.

ʼSo the whole area is a network of underground water systems, huh? Interesting.ʼ

Roken jumped into the water and collected magic crystals into the storage pouch behind Almond.

Julian went to the land area and fought with monsters of the land alongside Infernal Knight and Alfred.

Alfred acted as a support, staying behind and using skills as his stats were considerably weaker.

Infernal Knight was also weaker, but his combat prowess was still powerful paired with his mount, Agramon.

Since this dungeon had a density value of 378, the monstersʼ number wasnʼt high, and it was a red-bordered dungeon, so the monsters were below Gold level 70.

Almond cleared the entire dungeon within 1 hour and 28 minutes. He could do it faster, but it was slightly large, and water made it difficult in terms of exploring and getting to monsters.

Nevertheless, the party gained a lot of Magic crystals, uncommon and rare-grade items, and materials as rewards.

The total number of monsters, including boss monsters, was 197.

He threw all Spirits into Spirit Factory Forge right as he got them and saved the boss spirit in the spirit pocket.

After exiting the dungeon, Almond nodded at the guards standing on the water platform, ”The magic veinʼs location is marked. Go ahead and contact GAA to send the miners.”

Taking out his aircraft from the storage ring, Almond, Julian, and Roken left, onwards to the next dungeon.

18 hours later…

”Iʼm dead…” Roken slumped on the ground as they reached the courtyard.

”We really cleared twelve dungeons in a row,” Julian muttered as he also sat down, his whole body aching.

Glancing at Almond, he saw Almond summoning all of his pets and dumbed over two thousand spirit items on the ground before lying on the ground and closing his eyes.

He didnʼt even speak anything and just fell asleep in a second as exhaustion kicked in strongly after getting home.

ʼHe fought ten times, no, more than ten times than me,ʼ Julian swallowed hard. ʼHis body and mind must be exhausted beyond reason.ʼ

He knew because, in the last three dungeons, Almond wasnʼt speaking much. He simply fought, fought, and fought.

”Master, I have a perfect bed for you,” Sylvia whispered as magical vines gently grabbed Almond and took him toward the garden she had made.

Sylvia created a comfortable bed made of flowers with a soothing and calming vibe before putting Almond on it.

”You all, if you make any sound, I am going to bury you in my garden,” Sylvia said as she snorted at others. ”Especially you, Starlight and Benedict. You two are too noisy.”

”Letʼs go, lads! Time to hit the beach and let our lord get some precious rest.”

Aside from Alfred, the rest of the spirit wraiths went to the beach.

Alfred took out a laptop from the inside and started registering the spirit items on the Silverbird Services website.

Roken was already sleeping after he hit the ground, and Julian also decided to just sleep there and then.

It was an afternoon of the next day since they had spent 18 hours just clearing dungeons.

And then, a couple of hours later when the sun was going down, an aircraft arrived at the courtyard and dropped off Lily and Natalia.

”Itʼs good to be home,” Natali grinned.

But the duo was immediately startled as they entered the gate and saw the courtyard.

”Welcome home,” Alfred bowed. ”Please refrain from too much noise as Master is sleeping. He had just cleared twelve dungeons non-stop, so his exhaustion is at its peak.”

”Twelve dungeons?” Natalia was dumbfounded, but then snorted, ”Well, twelve C-rank dungeons ainʼt much for him.”

”He cleared B-rank dungeons, Miss Natalia,” Alfred wryly smiled.

”…”

Lily walked towards Almond in the garden and smiled, her hand delicately caressing his cheek. After giving him a gentle kiss on his lips, she said, ”Natalia, letʼs get freshen up. We are going to the dungeons after eating. I am quite raring to exercise my newfound powers and improve.”

”…”
