Battle Of Planets

Chapter 100: No matter what
”Tyson, you jerk!” Alex shouted as he began to rush.”Stop, or I swear I’ll kill you!”But Tyson didn’t flinch. He dodged Alex’s advance, fury blazing in his eyes as he reached for Justin. ”He touched her. He made her cry. You think I’ll let that slide? Step aside, Alex—you’re in the way!”

”Stop before I-” Alex’s warning was cut off as Tyson’s team jumped on him from behind. Lara grabbed Alex’s hand with Katana, Ken seized his other hand, while Bee nearly sat on his back, hands on his visor to blind him. Shaun stood in front of him to halt Alex’s advance.

”Sergeant, sorry, but you can’t go further,” Shaun said.

The other Ranger hesitated alongside Tim. They were unsure what to do. It was clear now that Alex was on their side, but does he want their help?

Alex glanced at Justin, who was already hunched over, nearly in tears from the earlier blow, then looked at Shaun. ”What are you doing?”

”I don’t know,” Shaun replied, looking at his teammates, ”but I can’t let you go any further.”

Lara and Ken nodded while Bee tried to maintain his seat on Alex’s back.

Tyson momentarily looked back at them, appreciating their help. They stood with him when no one else was there to support him. This is what being on a team means, and he was glad to be part of it.

Tyson snarled, veins bulging in his neck as he looked at a struggling Alex. ”What if it were Seraphina? What if he had taken her? Hurt her?”

Alex froze for a moment as he gave up resisting. He knew—if it were Seraphina, he wouldn’t be thinking either. He’d burn the world down. But Justin was not just another man... Killing him would trigger a chain reaction none of them were prepared for.

”If you kill him now,” Alex said slowly, deliberately, ”this whole thing goes to hell.”

Tyson shouted, ”Then what the hell do you want me to do?! Let him go after everything he’s done?”

Behind them, Justin scrambled to hide his eyes wide, lip trembling. ”H-He’s lost it! Alex, please help me! He’s going to—”

Tyson yanked Justin by the hair with brutal force, dragging him out like a feral beast. ”How does it feel?”

Justin screamed. ”No! I will tell my father-”

Tyson locked eyes with him—and then, without warning— CRACK!

A vicious punch slammed into Justin’s face, shattering his nose instantly. Blood spurted as he wailed, cuffed hands flailing uselessly.

CRACK. CRACK. THUD.

One punch after another—Tyson didn’t stop. His fists pounded into Justin’s face, ribs, gut—bone meeting bone with sickening thuds. Each strike was raw, calculated rage. Tyson’s fists, now coated in blood, ensured Justin felt every moment of it.

Around them, Rangers froze. No one stepped in to save him; even the Rogues who came with Justin looked horrified.

They have always seen him assaulting and hurting people back in Babylon, and many of the Rogues wanted to get rid of him. Some even dared to try, not to mention that their end was brutal. But now they are witnessing what nobody ever thought possible.

They have never seen Ranger beating the shit out of civilians, even with his bare hands. It was a crime to use your training to beat up ordinary civilians, but who was going to tell that madman?

”Get it through your thick skull!” Tyson shouted between punches. ”This is what happens—when you hurt someone I love!”

Justin was a broken mess, sobbing, his body jerking with every blow. Yet Tyson wasn’t done; he kept going while others watched horrifically.

----

Edward watched the scene from the chopper as he and Sam made their way to the battlefield.

There was a smile playing on Edward’s lips.

Sam, biting his tongue, said, ”We did not see that,” as he looked away. ”The city seems peaceful, no General?”

”indeed it is” Edward said.

---

Alex stood a few feet away, watching—jaw clenched, fists tight—but did not resist. He was unsure how to stop him and whether he should or not.

”You won’t die,” Tyson said, teeth grinding, ”but I’ll break every fucking bone you got. I’ll make you wish you were dead.”

He landed another brutal punch to his face, then pulled his hair roughly and kicked his ribs, all while he was cuffed. Even if he weren’t, he would not be able to fight Tyson. ”Do you think this is unfair? Wait till you see worse than this-”

”Tyson,” Nancy hugged him from behind, her arms wrapping tightly around him. ”Please stop, he will die.”

Tyson released his grip on Justin’s hair as he collapsed, crumpled, and remained barely conscious, still cuffed and alive.

Tyson took a breath, looking at him for a long moment as his blood-coated fist trembled. ”I will make sure he doesn’t wake up.”

”Please,” she begged, ”stop, for me.”

Tyson turned to her, taking her in his embrace again. ”Are you scared?”

She nodded her head in his chest.

Tyson tensed while observing her face: a split lip, bruises suggesting recent slaps, and a small forehead wound from the crash.

Tyson’s team released Alex as he took a step back into his Meta-bot armor. He then turned to Rangers, ”Pick him up,”

The Two Rangers moved in to pick up Justin’s limp, cuffed form.

”Are you still scared of him?” Tyson looked at Justin, who barely had an open eye. He saw fear in Nancy’s eyes.

Yes, she was afraid of him, still afraid of him. Tyson gritted his teeth.

Alex was distracted just as Tyson’s Meta bot blinked swiftly, and in one fluid motion, Tyson summoned his blade—a clean arc sliced through the air—and Justin’s hand dangled with another cuff.

He screamed from his lungs as he looked at his own hand, horrified and shocked. No words came from his mouth, only screams.

Nancy gasped and then hid her face in Tyson’s chest. Everyone stared, stunned. No one moved. No one dared.

”That hand,” Tyson said coldly, pointing to the bloody stump, ”touched you... right?”

Justin screamed and then lost consciousness.

Alex’s voice cut through the tension, full of disbelief. ”What the fuck, Tyson?!”

Tyson didn’t even flinch. He turned back to Nancy, wrapping her in his arms. His voice softened, even tender. ”My hand slipped.”

Nancy buried her face in his chest. She was still shaking, still scared—but the warmth of his embrace felt like shelter in a storm.

”He won’t dare hurt you again,” Tyson whispered. ”Not after this.”

Above them, a chopper hovered, winds stirring dust and silence as Edward and Captain Sam finally arrived.

Inside, Sam stared wide-eyed. ”That... wasn’t good.”

Moments later, Edward leaped from the craft, landing hard and fast. His expression was calm. ”Clean up the area,” he barked. Then pointed at Sam. ”And you—if this bastard dies, his blood’s on your hands.”

Sam almost vomited blood upon hearing his leader. He was indeed a supporter and somewhat, in modern terms, a healer, but he also had limits.

He gritted his teeth as he approached Justin. He knelt beside him as a few rangers stepped forward to see if their captain needed their help. Sam used his meta bot’s nanoparticle to seal Justin’s arm wound. ”I can only stop his bleeding.. I can’t heal his broken bones.”

Tyson remained silent, his hands on Nancy’s head as he planted a kiss. ”You are safe now.”

Sam glared at Tyson. ”You sons are quite like you, Sir... hot-headed.”

”Haha! Thanks, Sam,” Edward laughed.

Sam rolled his eyes as the Ranger looked confused. Was that a compliment? But if Edward thinks it is, then it must be. They are loyal to their general, after all.

”Anyway, guys, your assistance was valuable,” Edward said. ”You can go now and attend to your other duties.”

The Rangers took the arrested Rogues into the newly arrived officers’ cars while Justin and his two comrades received a special airlift.

Justine needed immediate medical attention while his two friends needed interrogations. Tyson and Nancy quietly watched as they put him on a stretcher and lifted him into the chopper.

”This is not over,” Alex said to Tyson, ”Im going to beat your ass later.”

He sat in the chopper alongside Justin and Captain Sam, keeping his glare at Tyson while Edward stood with the remaining forces.

”He looks upset,” Edward mumbled. ”I am proud of you, Tyson, for everything you have accomplished.”

Tyson smiled while his team cheered.

”But you and your team are going to be punished,” Edward chuckled. ”For not complying with the orders regardless of your intentions.”

The team gulped while Tim grinned, ”That’s right,”

”I am ready to be punished,” Tyson said, nodding his head. ”I will take full responsibility.”

Nancy flinched in his hug, but he rubbed her back reassuringly. Tyson’s team supported in unison, ”Yeah, we are ready.”

Edward chuckled walking to another chopper, ”I’ll see you tomorrow then. Tyson, you better come home early.”

The chopper lifted into the air as Edward watched with a smile.

Tyson knew things were not over yet; Albert would try his best to get back to him no matter what. Even if he failed, there were always unofficial means, but he didn’t care. He would face it to protect Nancy.
