Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1542: Gaap’s Unlimited Diet

Kent gave Baldy a curious look before his expression brightened.

Reaching into the system store, he purchased a large bowl of candy and handed it over to Baldy. Baldy grabbed it and started to eat right away.

Kent was pleased that Baldy only requested candy for such a difficult task, so he provided more than the boy could finish.

Even Gaap was left stunned.

He once told Kent his true strength was that of a peak Demigod. As a soul weapon, being a demigod is greater than even a soulless Celestial’s weapons.

His power is great, especially if wielded by someone like Kent.

His current strength is at Tier 19 sword. However, he can temporarily unleash a power beyond the Heavenly Ascension stage.

Of course, while he is useful at the moment, it was far from ideal. If he can become stronger, then perhaps he can help Kent more actively.

Nonetheless, he is a demigod.

However, despite having such great power, he fell short before the overwhelming might of the Resentful soul. But hearing he would be helped in absorbing the resentment filled his heart with joy.

”Well, how do I make Gaap more powerful?”

Baldy bit into a candy found only on Earth and savored its taste. Then he looked up and smiled at Kent. ”Very delicious, master.”

He licked his lips and was about to take another, but Kent grabbed his tiny ear, ”Buddy, I believe you have something to say, don’t you?”

Baldy pouted and was about to protest when Kent made a move that instantly subdued him.

”There is more where these candies came from, you know.”

Knowing that the ones he had now would finish one day, Baldy knew he had to think long-term, so all kinds of mischief he had in mind were washed away and replaced with the need to impress.

So he did, and the outcome put a smile on both Kent’s and Gaap’s faces.

”This weapon is already damaged and cannot be repaired, at least not by us. However, that is not of importance to us right now. The essential component here is the Resentful soul inside.

It had remained imprisoned inside for billions of years, only being freed when your blood touched the hilt. I have no idea why your blood was able to free it from prison, but it did, which, had I not been here, would have been your end.

Thankfully, I managed to put it back. Next, if you want, I can help this senior tap into the resentment and absorb it bit by bit while the resentful soul remains in the new prison I have built for it.”

”Won’t absorbing it harm Gaap?”

”Not if the resentful soul inside the sword is not tied to any soul. I have to admit that if I weren’t a special case, subduing it would have been impossible. I don’t know who wielded this sword, but the resentment it has accumulated is already enough to shatter even the will of a Sword Celestial.

You are very lucky you didn’t die the moment it was freed. However, with the power of Eternal Essence suppressing it, Uncle Gaap will have nothing to worry about.”

”Then there is no need to delay. Hook him up right away.”

Kent, of course, was worried there for a moment. If such resentment was hooked to his own weapon, what then would happen to him? Gaap is a living sword, an existence that transcends even the realm of a soul weapon.

So endangering him is the last thing he wanted. However, since Baldy said he wouldn’t be in any danger regardless of how monstrous the Resentful soul was, he knew Gaap would soon become even more powerful.

Baldy proceeded to create a formation linking Gaap and the Resentful soul.

When it was brought out again, its curses filled the place. Clearly, it had been waiting for its freedom for a very long time. However, just when it had finally managed to escape, a much bigger obstacle blocked its path.

”Damn it. Curse you, Nine Flames. I curse your bloodline and loved ones. You shall never know peace. Your souls shall be tormented for all eternity.

And as for you three bastards, I call down the wrath of the Doomed One. One day, you three shall face a death so painful that your reincarnated souls will remain scarred forever. I spit on your graves, I stomp on your—”

His curses came to an end, then a reverent look appeared on his face. He turned, looked at Gaap, and bowed. ”I will serve this Lord however he wants me to,”

Kent blinked a few times and turned to Baldy. ”Well, what the heck just happened? I was kind of enjoying the curses he was raining down on us.”

”Too bad for you I guess, I wasn’t, so I shut him up. Also, since Uncle Gaap is a living sword, I awakened a bit of his will, and that got him to shut up. It had been a sword spirit for billions of years, so resentment or not, it knew when to recognize greatness. Deep down, it had that sword will rooted in its nature. Right now, that resentful will recognized a superior one, and that forced it to shut up.”

Baldy bit into a chocolate candy. ”Ahh, the peace and quiet.”

Kent ignored him and turned to Gaap, who was already seated, absorbing bits of the resentful spirit. The poor bastard sat across from him, his excited gaze locked on Gaap.

Kent didn’t know how to feel about this.

”Relax, Big Brother. Even if he wanted to hurt him, under my suppression and Uncle Gaap’s superior will, he couldn’t do anything. So don’t worry about him. Let Uncle Gaap handle it. I am sure he will turn this resentment into a great fortune.”

Kent nodded, but he still told the tower to keep an eye on him at all times. The last thing he wanted was his sword to be put in danger because of their greed.

Afterward, he exhaled and turned to Baldy. ”I have to ask, have you heard anything from your siblings? A couple of years ago, I read in a certain scroll that Bob was captured and imprisoned by the Angels. Later, when the City of Angels disappeared, he also disappeared.

What the hell happened when I was gone?”

Baldy looked at Kent for a few seconds and smiled. ”Big Brother Bob is indeed gone, along with the City of Angels. But he is still alive, though far from reach. He did say we should come find him when you return, though.”

”I see. Then how about the others?”

”Well, Big Brother Ted hasn’t contacted me even once since he left, but I learned from Big Sister Vic that he had ventured to the unknown levels of Hell and been exploring one Hell Abyss after another. I don’t know if he is still there, but even if he is, I don’t care. He is a bastard like you.”

”Wow, Baldy, no need to be harsh about it. I died, you know, so it wasn’t like I abandoned you of my own accord.”

”But you knew you would die, so why didn’t you give me a heads up? I waited for millions of years, still believing you would come back.

When you didn’t, I came out looking for you for another million years until Big Brother Mak found me and told me you died. I was so heartbroken to the point I wanted to never see you again. Alas, here we are.”

Kent grinned but said nothing. It turned out it wasn’t just Inaya he had hurt...
