Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1509: End Of The Auction

The auction finally came to an end. Those who won bids smiled while the unlucky ones sighed and resigned themselves to their failures.

Lady Tilly Spoke:

”Thank you all for coming. While not all of us managed to win a bid, we showed the spirit of true buyers, limiting ourselves where we should.

Today is not the end. A year from now, we will hold another auction, so do well to stock up on some spirit stones, because when we meet again, it will be about who has the money and who doesn’t.

That said, those who won a bid should come to our offices to pay for their items and collect them.” Lady Tilly paused and turned to VIP Room 13...

”Young man, you can come to my office so we can talk about how best to handle the map. I will send it to the Cult of Wisdom, but before that, we need to have a talk.”

Kent nodded and turned to his ladies. ”Wait for me here, I will be right back.”

They nodded, and Kent walked away. A few minutes later, he stopped before a door where Lady Tilly was already waiting for him.

”Glad you are here. Let’s go inside and talk.”

Kent followed her inside. After they settled down, she started to speak...

”First of all, care to introduce yourself and what connection you have with the Cult of Wisdom?” Lady Tilly asked, her expression calm. However, Kent could tell she was keeping a focused look on him, making sure he didn’t lie to her.

This made him smile. After keeping his breath from spiraling, he answered, revealing a part of the truth to her.

”About two years ago, I mistakenly solved a puzzle the cult of wisdom left on a planet called Manelaus. I didn’t know it was a test to select the next Wisdom Scroll, so you can say I accidentally became their next candidate.

They had been looking for me all this time. Initially, I wanted to run from them until everything was over. However, I was advised to go to them, since learning from them is much more valuable than I could learn anywhere else.

So you can tell them Chaos said hi and that they shouldn’t worry about finding me. I will be there for the Trial of Wisdom.

Of course, for now, you can call me Jaqen...”

Lady Tilly remained quiet for a few seconds before she nodded. ”I will convey your message. That said, do you really think you can solve the map and discover the locations of the treasures?”

”Of course. Although I said it would take me 100 years, the truth is I can solve it in under 50 years. However, now I am a bit busy, so say in 100 years’ time, I will decipher it.”

Lady Tilly smiled. ”That is impressive, young man. Although I have no reason to believe you, since you said you can solve it, how about we do business? Once the coordinates have been deciphered, you can give a few to my auction house for auction.

After auctioning them off, we will take only 10% instead of the usual 15%. What do you think?”

Kent smiled and nodded. ”I wouldn’t have done this if I hadn’t seen what your auction house is capable of. So, once I have deciphered it, I will give you half of the coordinates to auction.

That said, you can deposit my sales from today’s auction here. Be sure to deduct the purchase I made first.”

Lady Tilly furrowed her brow, a bit at a loss for words. ”What are you talking about?”

”The spirit paintings. I was the one who painted them. You can ask Lady Annette.”

”WHAT?”

Lady Tilly exclaimed, quickly retrieving her communication jade token to make a call. A few seconds later, her eyes widened.

”You are the Nine Stars Chaos Brush.”

”The one and only.”

Gods are beings who have transcended the limits of mortality and even touched the Dao. Such people have seen it all, so for one to be shocked this way means the thing that shocked her is just beyond her comprehension.

”Just who are you,”

Kent laughed. ”It is still too early to tell you, Lady Tilly. Of course, I am sure soon enough, you will come to learn more about me.”

She remained in shock for a few more seconds before she managed to recover somehow. Kent then waved his hand, and two spirit paintings appeared.

”Because you managed to impress me, you can add these two to your auction line-up in the next auction. Hopefully, we will have more dealings in the future.”

Lady Tilly nodded frantically and quickly stowed the paintings away. She then took Kent’s Universal Bank Jade and rushed out. ”I will be back shortly.”

Kent smirked.

If there is anyone who can shock a god, then he is that person. He had already lived long enough to know that when it comes to powerful treasures, people just lose their minds over them.

Twenty minutes later, she returned with the items Kent bought and the funds deposited on the jade token.

Kent had no idea how this bank jade works. He learned from Lady Wu that it was connected to a very powerful formation that regulates money transfers all over the vast universe.

She even said that regardless of the currency you want, as long as there is money on the token, it can be converted. This means that by depositing spirit stones, one can withdraw or pay with Spirit Crystals.

Kent kind of envied whoever had the brains to create such a powerful formation.

In the end, instead of carrying trillions in spirit stones around, he now has it on a small jade token.

”I will remain in touch, Lady Tilly.”

”Pleasure doing business with you, Jaqen.”

Kent nodded and left.

He met with his ladies, and soon, they left the auction house. He had already given three paintings to Lady Annette, who claimed she would use them to sell his name far and wide.

Kent wanted to simply send a message out there, hoping to reach his mother if she still lives. So, since Lady Annette claimed she could sell his name, he would allow her that courtesy.

He had already become aware of how valuable a spirit painting really is.

So, since that is the case, the more people know his name, the more valuable his future paintings will be. He has many ideas for painting, so for now he can only count on making his name known.

”Where to next?” Lene asked, hugging Kent’s arm like always. Since they had secured a deal with Lady Annette, they would finally be leaving Snow City tomorrow.

”Let’s go back to the shop. I want to examine the items I bought, especially the spirit brush. If I can even use it to paint one last painting before leaving, it will be great.”

They nodded and started walking away from the auction house.

A few minutes after their departure, Kent stopped and looked around. ”Something is not rig—”

”WATCH OUT!”

BOOM

A giant sword came from thin air, aimed right at Vika’s chest. Fallon was quick to pull her away, but the shockwave from the attack pushed all four of them away.

Kent shot through the air like a cannonball, slamming into a metallic statue 10 km away. When he rose back to his feet, he found himself staring at a 3-meter-tall brute oozing a very potent demigod aura.

”Who are you?” Kent asked, his expression dark.

”The one sent to kill you.”

Before Kent could say another word, a powerful fist slammed into his chest, sending him flying thousands of miles away, blasting a hole through the city walls.
