Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1107: Artemielle, The Love-Bound Huntress (2)

Kent lifted his eyes, watching Unity hover in the air, and a wave of sadness filled his heart.

He had no idea where this sadness was coming from; however, at the moment, as he looked at Unity, his heart started to break.

Soon, Kent couldn’t hold it in anymore and started shedding tears.

In his eyes, he could see someone who had given everything she had but got nothing in return. Kent didn’t know why, but he felt a sense of guilt.

He had no idea that in his past life, he had failed Artemis. He could have at least tried to be her friend, or even better, a teammate, for they had fought many battles together. However, he was none of that.

And yet again, just when he seemed to realize that, she was taken away from him by the same forsaken race that took his one true love from him.

His nonchalance and complex destiny took away her chance to live a happy and fulfilling life.

But as if that was not enough, she again gave her life just so his incarnation could have a happy ending, one she deemed necessary for someone who fought for the lives of the innocent and weak.

Now, without him even knowing it, those guilts he felt back when he was Chaos and those he never knew he contributed to during the Void Era all started coming back to him.

Soon, the entire atmosphere changed, and Unity, who had been up in the air, was enveloped in a white cloud. Kent remained on the ground, wallowing in his unknown guilt.

However, as time slowly passed, he started to gather his thoughts and regain his composure.

Soon, he regained his calm self, and so he decided to get on with what all this was for...

Unity required a special type of awakening token compared to what her sisters needed. Naturally, Kent had been working around the clock to get her one. However, he had to leave and spend some time in the past.

While he was gone, his wives and legion challenged the 4th level of the Planet Killer Dungeon and cleared it. One of the rewards for completing the mission was the Destiny Awakening Token.

This token was now what Kent was using to awaken her true name.

As he gazed at her enveloped in the sea of clouds, he could only sigh...

”Cheated by destiny. Stripped of her will to live a fulfilling life...

Destiny hated her, but she was filled with love and compassion. Her love was eternal, even if she never received love in return. Her caring was genuine, even if she wasn’t shown the same care.

Her nature was to make others happy, yet happiness was but a fleeting memory to her. Thus, she lived for others when she should have lived for herself.”

Kent sighed deeply, the words he was speaking slowly stirring the guilt in his heart...

”Life is beautiful with her in it. Her love, compassion, and care were what made life worth living. Life had cheated her, but now, with the third chance at life, what had been stolen from her shall be returned.

”Arise, Artemielle, rise and claim your life, for destiny owes you. Arise, Artemielle, The Love-Bound Huntress.”

The moment Kent invoked her true name, six pairs of feathered, bluish-white wings burst out from the sea of clouds. Then, from the heavens, a powerful divine energy descended, sending Kent to his knees.

From the clouds, Unity appeared, radiating the aura of a goddess.

Before awakening her true name, Unity was a beauty; however, the one looking down at Kent with a smile on her lips was on another level.

If she went out without a veil, no man would be able to resist her charm.

Vexthra is beautiful, but Unity is charming and elegant. The aura, air, and everything about her is on a different level of elegance.

Her smooth skin, deep blue hair that cascaded down her back, her soft, cherry lips, big blue eyes, beautiful, round breasts, and refined body, along with the bluish-white wings behind her, made her otherworldly.

Kent remained on his knees, unable to move. It was as if he were being punished for the role he played in stripping Unity of her own happy ending in her first and second lives.

Suddenly, a Destiny memory key came out of Kent’s body, flew through the air, and entered Unity’s forehead...

The moment the memory key entered her forehead, the energy bearing down on Kent increased, and he was completely crushed to the ground.

Unable to bear it, he passed out.

It takes a lot to make Kent lose his consciousness with a mere aura. So, whatever aura surrounds Unity, it is both hers and not hers.

It is like how Val can take on her goddess form for a limited time.

After 30 minutes, Unity opened her eyes, and when she saw Kent lying passed out on the ground, she flapped her wings and appeared before him in an instant.

”He is fine.” Before she could panic, Gaia’s voice entered her ears. She nodded and then focused her attention on checking if he was hurt in other places.

After making sure he was not hurt in any way, she wiped the tear marks from his eyes. ”I will take him to rest. Inform my sisters that he cannot participate in the next match.”

Gaia nodded and vanished.

The plan was to spend some time and then awaken her true name before going for the semi-finals against the 4th-ranked Blade Soul Sect.

However, they spent too much time having sex that when it was left with just a couple of minutes on the outside before daybreak, they stopped and decided to awaken Unity’s true name.

Now, however, he had passed out, and there was no telling when he would wake up.

But even if he were to wake up before the match started, Unity knew there was a lot to talk about.

She had recovered enough of her memories as Artemis to know why Kent was crying. So she wanted to spend some time making sure he was alright before going out...

---

On the outside, Gaia delivered the message, which came as a surprise, but one that everyone welcomed. Kent joining the competition was already too much. He was way stronger than they were, so he was basically bullying them.

However, with him off the battle lineup, it would be much more intense.

Naturally, Lady Enzi anticipated this happening, so she had already made plans to win without Kent’s help.

All five seeded disciples would fight. Nyss and Princess Elowen were also added to the match lineup. They planned to use the seeded disciples to win the individual battles.

That was the only way for them to win. If they managed to defeat them in individual battles, they would be able to crush them again in the team battles.

”Too bad Big Brother wouldn’t be joining us for this battle. If he were here, crushing these bastards who look down on women would be as easy as lifting a pinky,” Nyss said with a chuckle, looking at their opponents.

She was the type of person who would use the strength of others to brag.

If she were to follow Kent, she would continually create problems for him.

Perhaps, because of these characteristics of hers, Val, who was also another troublemaker, hung out with her a lot. As they say, birds of the same feathers flock together.

Lady Enzi smiled and responded to her bold words, ”Imagine how happy he will be if you manage to win this match for him.”

Nyss smiled and lifted her shoulders high, saying, ”Fear not, Lady Enzi, I got this.”
