Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1106: Artemielle, The Love-Bound Huntress (1)

The story began during the Primordial Era when a Huntress fell in love with an emotionless Dragon, and despite family and friends warning her not to venture into said territory, she refused to listen, which ultimately led to her death in the most tragic way possible.

Artemis was the crown princess of the Shades family, a family of assassins and hunters. She was born a Huntress, for in her blood, she was destined to become one.

Her life was perfect.

She had loving parents, supportive siblings, and trusted relatives who would do anything to see each other happy. Artemis had it all: riches, support, and peace.

However, as a Shade, she was supposed to walk in the trade of the family—she was supposed to become a Huntress like her mother, her grandmother, and her great-grandmother.

So from a young age, she began her training.

She was brilliant and hardworking.

Her handling of the bow began to show when she was just six, and by the time she turned 16, she started joining the League of Shades on dangerous missions.

By the time she turned 30, her name had spread far and wide, earning her the titles Eye of the Eagle and Goddess of the Hunt.

She never missed her target, and no matter how staggering the odds were, she would always find a way to land her shot. Because of this, she became famous, and among the Shades, she was known as the Child of the Wild.

Artemis had done it. She became a True Shade, something that separated her from the ordinary folk.

However, one’s destiny cannot always be what it was written to be. There are those whose destiny is to mess with the destiny of others.

Artemis’s own came in the form of a Dragon.

One day, a mission was handed to the Shades family, a mission that tested the reputation of the Shades family. This mission was one that even the best of the Shades never saw coming.

However, they took it, and on this mission, Artemis was picked to join the hunt.

The mission was to kill a known Forsaken King, a being whose existence was not tolerated by anyone. If the Shades managed to complete this mission, their reputation would take a big leap, so they were determined to kill this Forsaken King.

However, when they came face to face with the Forsaken King, it turned out it was Kings, not a single King—ten of them to be precise.

It turned out they had been set up by their rivals. Their plan was to kill the best of the Shades and swallow the rest.

And their plan was perfect. Five people going against ten terrifying powerhouses was a guaranteed mission failure, which would, without a shred of doubt, lead to the death of Artemis and her family.

However, just when they were in a bind, a vengeful Dragon appeared, and in under one minute, beings that even True Immortals would despair against were slaughtered.

The mission that guaranteed the death of Artemis and her family turned out to be a fateful encounter with the one who would be known across the universe as the Primordial Chaos Dragon.

This encounter also changed Artemis’s destiny. She was meant to rise and one day become the Goddess of the Hunt. She was meant to transcend and reach the peak.

However, meeting the Chaos Dragon, who was on a mission to kill all Forsaken beings and their allies, changed that.

Her destiny was changed, and so she became drawn into the world of the Chaos Dragon.

She left home despite her family and friends’ warnings and started following him.

For thousands of years, she followed him, tried to get close to him, and even risked her life just to be noticed by him.

However, the Chaos Dragon, who lost his heart and his one true love, had no room for another woman; thus, he maintained his distance.

One day, when the Chaos Dragon was in seclusion and was at a critical junction in his cultivation, the Forsaken race attacked.

They planned well, and so they came in full force.

Artemis, the Shadow Stalker, as Chaos called her, stepped in and fought for three days. She defended the Chaos Dragon, who had no idea he was under attack, for his soul was never in his body.

His training took his soul out of his body, so even if the enemy destroyed his body, he would have just built a new one.

However, because he didn’t know, Artemis fought, and on the third day, she fell defending someone she loved, but who never even trusted her.

She died defending someone who had no place in his heart for her.

She died without even having the chance to say goodbye.

Her death was tragic and sad. However, to her, she knew she died trying to protect the one she loved...

Because of this belief, because of her actions, the universe decided to give her a different life—a life she would get to live, a happy and fulfilling life, one she had never had the chance to experience before.

Thus, the Goddess of Love and Art, Selphina, was born.

Destiny is indeed a bitch, as they say.

Selphina was born a goddess, a being who transcended mortality and gained divinity. She was blessed with beauty, intelligence, and joy.

She had everything.

But as the Goddess of Love and Art, she had the power to paint beautiful love stories for those worthy of happy endings.

Those who had given their all, yet destiny had no plans to grant them happy endings, she changed it, painting them happy endings.

Because of the love in her heart, she took her role very seriously. She brought so much love and joy to the lives of billions.

However, destiny never bends, and so even as a goddess, her own destiny soon caught up to her in the form of a handsome young Spearman—the one destined to save the Void Era.

This young man was born ordinary but was meant for greatness. His destiny was to one day rise and battle the Void Beasts.

Nobody knew him, but soon, he was known all over the universe as the Blood Spear King. His legend spread far and wide.

During the Void Wars, the Blood Spear King fought with his significant other, the Blood Zither Princess.

According to destiny, the Blood Spear King would save the universe, but at the cost of his love. He would save everything he and her lover sought to achieve, but in the end, she would never get to enjoy it with him.

It was a tragic love story, one that moved the Goddess of Love and Art to tears. In her eyes, the one who stood against the destiny of the universe and fought to save it could not lose what he was fighting for.

So she chose to write a new ending for them.

However, going against destiny many times came at a cost, one that could not be paid easily.

To change one’s destiny, one must give up one’s destiny, and so the Goddess of Love and Art again chose to give her own life to someone who never even knew she existed.

She wrote the Blood Spear King, the reincarnation of the Chaos Dragon, a happy ending—the same dragon that was the cause of her death in her first life.

Destiny played ball with her a second time...

But can she play the same ball a third time...
