Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 945: Why the long face, are you Scared

”It worked like you said it would. After throwing the scroll out, they sensed it and took it. After a while, they left and headed straight to the Transfer Channel,” Lady Kami said, speaking to Kent and Lady Azela.

It had only been two days since Kent spoke with her.

However, within those two days, she had searched through a major part of the city where the sect was located, and to her shock, not even a hair of the people who came after her could be found.

This made her understand just how great the threat of exposing the forbidden Pill they possess could be.

”In truth, I never expected them to take the bait, but since it all worked out, I hope that Dark Elf makes it in time for his package.”

Lady Kami smiled slightly and then asked what was next.

”I will let your daughter call you when we are ready to head to your planet. Until then, keep a close eye on your surroundings. Who knows, they might come back.”

Lady Kami nodded and cut the connection. The past two days had been wild for her, so she could finally rest, knowing her daughter would soon return to her.

After the call ended, Kent walked toward the window of the inn and extended the soul map further toward the Pagoda standing 45,000 km from his current location.

”12 Heavenly Ascension stage warriors, huh. Looks like I have to work on my pill flame before going there,” Kent said inwardly before focusing his attention on a certain lady seated on the 5th floor of the Pagoda.

She had short brown hair and clear blue eyes.

Her ears aren’t human ears, as they extend much longer. With her short hair, one can see just how long they really are. Naturally, she was an elf, or more specifically, an Earth Elf.

This part of the universe appeared to have beings with a greater affinity for the elements. Just as there were Elemental Humans, she also seemed to come from an Elemental Elf race.

Kent scanned her cultivation and saw that she had recently entered the Spirit Lord stage. This made him scoff, knowing that even if there were ten of them, judging by the aura around her, he could crush them into meat paste.

This lady was Pill Saint Flura, the one Kent had to defeat to ultimately step into the ranks of a Pill Saint.

Kent had only come to the past for three things.

The first was to defeat this lady and comprehend the Grand Pill Tablet. He had already accomplished one, leaving him with the second, which he was about to face in a few hours.

The second was to form his Blood Core Gate. Naturally, this would require him to go on a killing spree. He planned on asking Lady Azela where he could go for that.

Lastly, he planned to form at least 10,000 Flame Veins before returning to the future. The plans he had were ones he knew could be achieved if he became much stronger.

He wouldn’t be going to a Low, Legacy, or Great High World. His plan was to venture into the Supreme High World, where the best opportunities were.

After meeting the Slaughter King twice, Kent saw just how much he was still lacking. He didn’t want to feel inferior again, so the plan now was to become much stronger than he would have become if he hadn’t met the Slaughter King.

”I might as well add one Blood Life Seal and one Blood Death Seal to the mix. With the Forsaken Race now under my radar, who knows when I will be meeting them again?”

He walked back to Lady Azela. ”I am going to the Aerithyne Pill Pagoda for a duel. However, before that, I plan to buy a Flame Spirit from a store a couple of miles away.

You’re welcome to stay here if you’d like. Once I am done with my business, we will head to your world next.”

”I will go with you. Although my strength has been suppressed to the Spirit King stage, I still have the means to utilise my Heavenly Ascension skills, so I will be able to protect you that way.”

Kent smiled weakly, hearing the woman speak. Although he couldn’t kill her in normal combat, Kent knew the moment he unleashed the Asteroid, she was as good as dead.

”If you are worried, thinking that I will abandon you, then don’t be. I plan on learning the technique for refining Soul Puppets, so I will come back for you.”

Lady Azela shook her head. ”Still, I will follow you. Until you get me to my world, treat this partnership as a life-or-death one.”

”Fine.” Kent chose to end the conversation there. ”On that note, we should get going.” Kent opened the door for Lady Azela, and so they left, heading to the store.

Kent planned on buying a Tier Nine pill flame and a Cauldron.

He didn’t want to expose his Tier 12 Soul Flame, so getting a secondary one was for the best. After all, Nana had created the foundation for him to own a second flame.

All he needed to do now was buy a suitable flame spirit and absorb it.

Meanwhile, on the 5th floor of the Aerithyne Pill Alliance Pagoda, Pill Saint Flura looked at the faces of the hundred Pill Saints she had defeated and smirked.

”Bunch of idiots. A common Tier 9 pill they couldn’t concoct.”

Beside her, a young lady about her age, though much more ordinary-looking compared to the clothes Pill Saint Flura was wearing, smiled.

”The young miss has already been recognised by a Pill Monarch for her outstanding brilliance in Alchemy, so it is only normal that they couldn’t measure up to your brilliance.”

Pill Saint Flura smiled. ”You always know how to cheer me up, Niki. But what you said is indeed true. Aside from the annoying bitch from the Nymbra Pill Alliance, none managed to make me even try at all.”

”That bitch was indeed a pain. But the fact that the young miss managed to defeat her shows just how brilliant and amazing you are.”

Niki paused for a moment, then added, ”I am sure the young miss will come out prosperous in the Pill Ascension Competition. After that, the young miss can take the trial and become a Pill Sage and then Pill King soon.”

Pill Saint Flura smiled again. ”That is only natural, Niki. My talent is better suited to making Tier 10 pills.”

An hour passed, but nobody came to accept her challenge. This only fueled her arrogance to the point that she started cursing at the Pill Saints around. A few who merely came there to watch even caught some stray bullets.

However, knowing her background, none said anything and merely seethed inwardly. They knew that when the Pill Ascension Competition came, they would have their revenge.

If only they knew their revenge would come from a handsome, purple-haired person who walked into the Pagoda by flashing his pill badge at the guards.

Soon, Kent was on the 5th floor and started walking toward Pill Saint Flura.

Kent’s appearance stunned everyone, for they could all sense his cultivation base. Core Formation warriors weren’t invited to the 5th floor.

However, Kent ignored their stares and walked toward the arrogant Pill Saint.

”I am Kent, a Pill Grandmaster from the Pyris Pill Alliance. I have come to accept your challenge.” An expression of shock appeared on Pill Saint Flura’s face.

However, it immediately changed to anger when Kent added a few words.

”Why the long face? Are you scared?”
