Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 698: Breaking The Soul and Mind Limit

”So you made contact with one of the ancient races,” Vexthra asked, now seated on a clean white stone on the first island.

[Yes. Thalorin is a good guy. I think we are now friends—at least from my perspective, we are friends.] Kent responded with a smile.

Vexthra rolled her eyes. ”Unbelievable... Only you would think that after fighting a dragon, you would automatically become friends.”

After Kent resumed his journey, now back inside his sleek flying boat, he reached out to Vexthra, who was still exploring the first floor of the Planet Killer Dungeon.

After they discovered the dungeon had something Unity needed, they chose to remain there for a few days to see if they could help her more. The map helped them find one, so they wanted to know if they could discover more secrets that might benefit Unity.

They were yet to make headway, but they weren’t giving up.

”So, how long until you reach the shores of the Elf Kingdom?” Vexthra asked.

[At this speed, a day and a half, maybe...]

”Okay... Let me know when you get there,” Kent nodded and cut the connection. He wanted to do something else while he had some free time.

He quickly checked his profile to see how many attribute points he had racked up.

⟦Attribute Points: 1795⟧

A smile appeared on his lips. The birthday celebration with his wives had gone quite well for him, considering he had racked up this many attribute points.

Since his profile had changed, even adding one point to his attributes seemed to bring about so much change in his body that he hadn’t yet come to terms with it.

But it was now plain as day what had to be done to break a limit, and he knew the attribute points were now better than before.

Initially, he had to earn millions of points to break a limit, but now, just one point translates to thousands of points if converted to the previous system.

⟦Name: Kent⟧

⟦Age: 21⟧

⟦Bloodline: Primordial Chaos Dragon (16)⟧

⟦Class: Alchemist (Grandmaster)⟧

↠ SubClass

⟦Swordsman: (Grandmaster)⟧

⟦Soul Cultivation: (Tier 13)⟧

⟦Body Cultivator: (Diamond)⟧

⟦Cultivation: Core Formation - Lvl 3/9⟧

⟦Physique: 42/100⟧

⟦Spirit: 67/100⟧

”91 points more to break the next limit,” Kent smiled and then ordered the tower to add the points. The moment the points were added, Kent’s body, mind, and soul felt the change immediately.

It was so overwhelming and enticing to the point that the moment the points were added, he wanted to punch a hole in the planet.

Obviously, he wasn’t going to do that.

”This feeling is intoxicating,” Kent smiled.

Already, he could sense his soul had started to undergo some drastic changes. Changes that were making him feel like his understanding of the ’Soul Universe’ was limited.

The more the minutes passed, the more he felt like his soul was much more than he had let on. It was like his understanding was expanding, and that alone made him very happy.

As the hours went by, Kent’s understanding of the soul path he was following entered a stage that made him smile cheerfully.

”Instead of starting with an asteroid, I could have just started with something simpler yet deadly when used in battle, something like a large diamond. That would have consumed less Soul Essence.” Kent scratched the back of his neck.

The Foxkin were feeding him Soul Essence every second, but that just wasn’t enough to create something as big as an asteroid capable of killing an immortal... he was far from that junction.

So if he had known there were some hidden methods in the path he was following, he would have done that.

Just now, he was enlightened to the fact that it didn’t even have to be an asteroid or a large diamond. It could be a water body, such as a pond, if you must.

But something simple that wouldn’t require too much Soul Essence would have gone a long way, especially when he was still in a medium world. But it was already too late.

He had started his asteroid project, and since he wanted to see it through, he could only hope he wouldn’t waste his energy and Soul Essence doing something foolish—all because he was fascinated by asteroids.

After a couple of hours, the process came to an end.

⟦Congratulations on breaking the 3rd limit on yourself: Soul Limit⟧

”So far, I broke a limit on my Body, Cultivation, and Soul... Looks like the next will be the mind.” Kent was already aware that limits can be broken in four different places.

The Body limit relates to the person’s strength. Body cultivators who break a limit on their body become much more monstrous by all standards.

The Soul limit is mostly geared toward the strength of one’s soul. Soul Cultivators pursue these limits because breaking a soul limit not only strengthens one’s soul but also broadens their understanding of the soul path they are walking.

It helps them utilize their souls in ways they never knew possible.

The mind limit expands one’s mind, making it more robust, much like the soul. It enhances one’s mental strength and thinking ability. Essentially, the moment a mental limit is broken, one can expect a significant boost in their comprehension abilities.

The Cultivation limit breaks the limit on cultivation. The last three improve cultivation as well, but the main limitation on the cultivation path, when broken, enhances the cultivator’s potential.

Aspects like sword cultivation will see monumental growth, one that cannot be easily achieved. However, it isn’t just the sword path; all other aspects of cultivation will undergo significant changes.

Naturally, breaking a cultivation limit is much more difficult since its effects even affect the other three limits: mind, body, and soul.

But Kent had already broken that limit, and now he was done with his soul. He quickly checked the following requirements to determine which limit he would break next.

⟦Physique: 0/250⟧

⟦Spirit: 0/250⟧

⟦Tower Notice: Saturate both your ’Physique’ and ’Spirit’ to break your next limit: Mind Limit⟧

”Ah, what the hell... Tower, add the points, let me get my mind much sharper.” Kent smiled. The next instant, his mind began to expand...

’Damn, I am a monster for sure now.’

The process took hours, but when it was done, Kent saw a huge change occur in his mind. It was a wild one, but he made progress, and that alone was all he wanted.

Checking the next requirements, he smiled slightly...

⟦Physique: 0/1050⟧

⟦Spirit: 0/1050⟧

⟦Tower Notice: Saturate both your ’Physique’ and ’Spirit’ to break your next limit: Soul Limit⟧
