Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 685: The Dragon Necromancer’s Revenge (3) [Bonus]

The Oracle headquarters was considered one of the most secure locations in the world. It was located in a pocket dimension, and unless you had the mark of the Oracles, you wouldn’t be able to find the gates, let alone enter.

Many tried over the years, and they all failed miserably.

Basically, the Oracle headquarters was a fortress that couldn’t be breached.

However, it was breached today, and the one who did it was the last person they wanted to see.

They didn’t know that the hunter they had sent into the Dead Region had infiltrated their domain. They never saw that far into their reckless planning and now, it came back to bite them in the ass.

But of course, they didn’t recognize her, and while it would have been polite to talk things out, they knew she hadn’t come for conversation.

After all, she breached their safe space and was exuding potent killing intent. There was no need to think otherwise.

So they attacked, employing a range of soul-attacking skills. However, all their attacks were rendered useless, considering Yi Lai held her sword.

Her sword was the same as her scepter. Since it could render most soul attacks useless, the Oracles, who weren’t known for their combat powers, found themselves in a precarious situation.

None of their soul attacks were working.

However, Yi Lai showed no mercy at all.

She came to kill, and that was all her mind was set on. Despite their painful cries, she didn’t stop her massacre. Nothing would compel her to stop her revenge on those who had wronged her.

There weren’t only humans there; there were elves, demons, and even beastkin. The Oracles were a big organization recognized in Sonox, so it was only natural to have members from other races.

But even so, Yi Lai wasn’t holding back her attacks. She knew soon the big bosses would appear, and while she couldn’t wait to get them under her sword, she couldn’t let these weaklings leave either.

The moment she breached the headquarters, all Oracles in the world sensed the danger, so they came to defend—only to be met with failure at every second.

Veera was having a field day with them, while Nethar was also making sure they died engulfed in flames. The beautiful space the three found themselves in now was littered with flames and blood.

”Everyone, use your life-saving treasures and leave now.” When more started dying, the leader of the Oracles, a strikingly beautiful woman, appeared in the air. Behind her were sixteen ladies, each exuding a powerful presence.

The Oracles who heard their leader’s voice immediately activated their teleportation devices tethered to the outside. However, to their shock, their teleportation devices stopped working.

”WHAT?”

Everyone’s face turned grim.

This wasn’t what they expected.

As Oracles, they knew that at some point they would be required to make a quick exit, so the moment a new member was welcomed into their fold, they were given these specially designed teleporters to aid them in a swift escape.

These devices had helped them greatly. As people who practiced extracting the life force from men they slept with, it wasn’t too hard to realize they needed something like a quick and portable teleporter. In case anything bad happened, they always had a way out.

But not today... Their precious life-saving treasures aren’t working.

This was because all exits were blocked. Yi Lai wanted to kill everyone, so obviously she came prepared, primarily since she was associated with someone like Kent.

”Who are you?” the leader of the Oracles—or as they called her, Lady Oracle—asked in a grim tone. They had heard of the Hunter and knew her, but the one they knew was just a puppet controlled by her, meaning this was their first time seeing her in person.

However, even if they had seen her before, Yi Lai had come a long way from how she looked a couple of years ago... and to her, it had already been fifty years. Therefore, many changes were likely to have occurred.

But poor Oracles, they had no idea their plan to get rid of two nuisances had now become a headache for them.

They wanted Kent and Hunter gone...but it now turns out they made a grave mistake picking an enemy they never knew would one day come seeking revenge.

Yi Lai stopped her attack and looked at the Oracles; then a smirk formed on her lips. ”Well, I can’t blame you if you don’t know who I am... after all, even the people who saved me don’t know what I look like... Only one person ever did.”

Her mind flashed back to Kent—he was the only person who had managed to bring out her true self. For years, nobody knew what she looked like, so the day Kent found her true body was the day she developed some respect for him.

”Two years ago, you sent that lady to kill me by sending me to the Dead Region... Does that ring a bell?”

”THE HUNTER!”

Everyone’s face turned grim when they heard her.

”I go by a different name now... but yes... the same hunter you tried to kill despite me not doing anything to you.” Yi Lai smiled.

Around her, Veera and her undead swordsmen and a few assassins were doing the most, killing as if it were the most natural thing to do.

”Isn’t it ironic... I’ve done nothing to you... But due to hunger for power and perhaps a sense of fulfillment, you chose to hunt me down and kill me.” She chuckled.

”It turns out that decision you made was the turning point for me... and the beginning of your doom.” Her smile turned funny. ”Don’t worry, I don’t plan on killing everyone—my master said I should keep one of you to deliver his message.”

”And who is your master?” Lady Oracle asked.

Yi Lai smiled. ”Kent Madson... also, it turns out he isn’t that evil... he is actually a good person... But I guess that is now too late for perverts portraying themselves as Oracles.”

Her laughter filled the space, carrying a touch of mockery that made the Oracles seethe with anger, yet also shudder with fear.

”Surround her... if we can’t leave, then we might as well take her with us.” That was their last desperate struggle—a moment when they thought they had everything figured out.

One filled with the idea that they could wiggle their way out of the claws of death. However, Yi Lai planned to shatter those dreams from the start... She wanted them to die knowing there was nothing they could do.

”Nethar, do the things.”

The redheaded undead dragon smiled when he heard his master’s command.

The Oracles began gathering their strength and determination to fight back when a sudden roar filled the space, shattering all their hope...

A red dragon spread its wings, and fire started filling the space...
