Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 681: First Hell Rank Quest [Bonus]

⟦Your quest ‘Shadow Guardian of Planet Dusk’ has undergone some changes⟧

⟦The dungeon has been upgraded from SSS ↠ Unique⟧

⟦Number of floors upgraded from 32 ↠ 37⟧

⟦The difficulty of the dungeon has been upgraded from Calamity ↠ Hell⟧

“Well, things just took a dark turn,” Kent said weakly. He had a year and a couple of months that he could have used to complete the original quest when he emerged from his sword and draconic enlightenments while in seclusion.

He and the ladies alongside his legion could have used that time to enter the dungeon and clear every last floor within months. However, a message was waiting for him when he came out of his second draconic enlightenment.

The message read…

⟦Quest Message: An unknown anomaly has occurred, which triggered the Dusk Dungeon to enter an upgrade process. Time till completion: 12,418 days⟧

That was the message, if Kent recalls correctly. The time was estimated based on the tower time, so Kent knew he still had some time.

He doesn’t know what triggered the anomaly, but he knows there is nothing good about anomalies. He is an anomaly, and so far, he has seen how wicked he can be to himself.

That alone pisses him off.

But now, this dungeon has moved from being SSS to a Unique dungeon where even gods can be waiting for them in there.

After all, it is a unique dungeon, and as such, the limit that is placed on other dungeons has been lifted. Kent didn’t know if this was a blessing in disguise or if he was going to submerge himself, his wives, and his legion in a literal hell.

But one thing is sure: he is fucked either way. A unique dungeon isn’t something to be taken lightly… They are rare, and Kent had just found himself in one…

⟦Quest Name: Shadow Guardian of Planet Dusk⟧

⟦Quest Type: World Quest⟧

⟦Quest Difficulty: Hell⟧

→ The war between the brave warriors of Planet Dusk and the Evil Ant Queen Elxn of Planet Kuynx happened 15,000 years ago. It was a grave battle that resulted in the deaths of billions of Duskins.

→ They lost 90% of their warriors and 60% of the entire race. They lost their planet protector in that fateful battle, considering she chose to use her life to end it all. She couldn’t afford to survive while everyone else died around her.

→ Her ultimate sacrifice saved billions more and a few warriors who would lead the people of Dusk to a new age.

→ But while the battle ended, the war didn’t. The planet-killing dungeon that the Ant Queen had prepared 2,000 years in advance was planted in the world of Dusk, her last-ditch effort to eradicate the loyal followers of the Goddess of Love.

→ But the universe, being touched by the loyalty of the Duskians, intervened and placed a limit on the Planet Killer, turning it into a dungeon that, for the past 12,000 years, has been spawning beasts of all kinds.

→ It was the most straightforward way to contain them since the universe is powerless to eradicate them.

→ But 7,500 years ago, the dungeon had reached its maximum threshold, and so the seal around it started to weaken. When it finally breaks, the dungeon will open, and millions of horrors will be revealed.

→ However, before that could happen, something intervened, and so the dungeon remained sealed until now.

→ The anomaly that happened caused the Planet Dungeon to undergo some drastic changes, turning the planet-killer dungeon from SSS rank to a Unique one.

⟦Changes: The parameters of the dungeon have changed. You now have 12 years to rise through the 37 levels/floors and kill the Ant King Ketu, who was biding his time until the ritual is performed.

The moment the ritual is performed, he will be unleashed upon the world of Dusk. Allowing that to happen will come with severe consequences, ones you don’t want to face.

No respawns for both the dungeon creatures and you.⟧

⟦Lore: There are many secrets in the dungeon, secrets that will bring changes to the World of Dusk, you, your wives, and your legion. These secrets come in the form of drops after major kills. Uncover them all.⟧

“This is just something else. Even the base power level is at the peak of the core formation stage. This is going to be more harrowing than even the battle that will soon happen in Fedora.”

Kent smiled weakly.

“Tower, can you estimate the number of creatures to clear on the first floor?” Kent asked. It used to be 32 floors, now it is 37… This means things won’t be as simple as before.

⟦I can’t precisely estimate… However, expect not less than 1,000 creatures. Additionally, there is a possibility that not all creatures will be at the Core Formation stage.⟧

“I see. This means there might be Spirit Ascension stage creatures waiting for us, or even those at a higher level.”

⟦Most likely.⟧

“I see. Thank you, Tower.” Kent stood up and stretched his muscles. “The legion and the girls will handle the first few floors… I need to get my affairs in order before joining them.”

Kent didn’t want to admit it, but he was excited to embark on such a long-term quest. It was going to be dangerous, but the moment he ascends to a High World, and his ladies start to rise in their ranks, things will be much more manageable.

He walked toward a certain tree and then plucked a ripe mango. Naturally, it was a spirit mango, one that nourishes the soul and enhances its essence.

He bit into it and started eating…

After he finished consuming the mango, Kent left the Soul Tower and went to the mountain garden. He wanted to meet Gaia and her sisters and play with them, just as he had promised.

The moment he goes away this time, it will be several years before they can play together. When he appeared in the garden, his eyes landed on them.

However, to Kent’s surprise, the fourth Loli was there too, and she spotted him first.

“Big brother, I miss you so much.” Li Hua ran and jumped into his arms, planting her face into his chest.
