Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 600: Poison Revenge (1)

The Kyrrith Kingdom is known as the strongest kingdom on the human continent. It is surrounded by mountain ranges and rich in minerals.

However, what makes them the strongest is their craft.

They are the best at weapon making and thus the strongest in combat. Thankfully, the king of the Kyrrith Kingdom ensures the warriors are well equipped despite no war coming to them anytime soon.

Nobody can remember the last time the four kingdoms were at war.

They don’t, simply because every kingdom has something to offer, and going to war means they won’t supply what they offer to you, regardless of how powerful you are.

Even if one kingdom manages to take over another, that will only end in mass bloodshed, which the four kingdoms agreed not to let happen.

So, for a kingdom such as Kyrrith to be equipping its soldiers with weapons means only one thing: they are afraid of something or someone.

It was as if they had been preparing for the past 200 years for something or someone.

And as it turns out, it was someone... someone who made an entire kingdom weary.

Three hundred years ago, the Deckling Noble family ruled Kyrrith. They were a family of alchemists, and under their reign, Kyrrith was known as one of the biggest places for cheaper pills.

They made sure alchemy was the main focus of Kyrrith, and the people loved them for it. However, 200 years ago, the Deckling family woke up to a slaughter that soon consumed the entire household.

Every last one, from the young to the adult, was slaughtered, and the perpetrators were actually two merchant families that joined hands through marriage.

Every last Deckling was slaughtered—except one who managed to escape thanks to his mother. However, through the escape process, she was poisoned.

But she didn’t die. She was an alchemist, so she stayed alive to plot her revenge. This survivor was later known as one of the Seven Pill Saints.

She was known everywhere as the Wicked Poison Witch, who didn’t care about anyone’s feelings and could kill as long as she set her mind to it.

Naturally, that was just an act to remain hidden and closer to the Vale noble family who employed her poison-making skills.

They asked for her help many times, unaware that the one they’d been preparing for was right in front of them.

But it wasn’t like anyone would have seen through her disguise. Despite having become a Peak Ascendent and a Pill Saint who could harness poison to some degree, she never sought revenge simply because her true power was suppressed when she was poisoned.

However, when Kent cured her, the real Poison Witch awakened her powers and even advanced to the 3rd stage in core formation. It turned out that suppressing her cultivation all these past years was a blessing in disguise.

And now, she had come for revenge.

The sky in Vale City had turned purple, filled with poison. Thousands had already died, and more kept dying while thousands ran frantically, trying to escape.

It was the Poison Witch’s signature move—the one that first creates chaos and then eventually unleashes the main attack. Naturally, nobody wanted to be there when the main attack was unleashed, so they fled.

”What is the Poison Witch doing?” a man in his late 40s asked, standing atop a tall building ten miles away. Behind him were seven individuals, each standing at the peak of the Root Sovereign stage.

It wouldn’t take a genius to know they were the generals of the Kyrrith Kingdom.

”My king, I think we should consider the fact that she is here to attack us, considering her poison is spreading toward us,” one of the generals said.

In the past, if the Poison Witch wanted revenge on someone, she had to inform the king beforehand. But today, she just came and started killing.

Of course, King Vale and the generals didn’t notice, but those dying were from the Vale or the Wilson family. This showed she had come to kill a particular group of people today.

The people from the Vale and Wilson bloodline who joined hands and slaughtered her family 200 years ago.

”Let’s meet her and find out first,” King Vale said, leading the seven men toward the Poison Witch, who stood in the air with her hands behind her back.

”Pill Saint Riva, I wasn’t made aware you would be conducting an operation here today. Why then are you causing this grave massacre?” King Vale asked, but the Poison Witch didn’t even turn to look at him.

This pissed King Vale off, but he had to swallow his pride before saying something he would regret. He already knew the reputation of the Wicked Poison Witch.

”If this has something to do with a mistake I or anyone in my family made, please, I entreat you to stop so we can negotiate and come to a peaceful ending.

You have helped my family greatly over the years, so I wouldn’t want there to be friction among us,” King Vale said again, and this time, the Poison Witch spoke.

”Can’t you reverse time, Vale?” She didn’t even bother to add the appropriate titles to the name. This made King Vale become alert, sensing the hostility.

He knew this had something to do with him. Naturally, he felt a chill down his spine when Pill Saint Riva spoke.

”I cannot reverse time,” he had to answer.

If he chose not to, more would keep dying, and even as he answered, more were dying. So it was more like he wanted to see if he could calm the situation by responding.

”Since you can’t reverse time, then there is nothing to talk about... Go and gather your two families. Tell them the time has come for them to pay for their crimes.”

Pill Saint Riva suddenly changed into her beautiful younger self. King Vale staggered back in the air, feeling his spine freeze when his eyes landed on the beautiful lady standing 200 meters from him.

”Princess Lovina...” His voice turned cold when he said that name.

”It’s time for you to pay for your crimes, House Vale and House Wilson.” A staff appeared in her hand, and she waved it.

”Poison Rain.” Suddenly, painful cries filled the city as thousands of people started crying blood, some melting under the acid rain falling from the sky...

”Sound the alarms!” one of the Sovereigns behind King Vale shouted as they flew away, holding the king in their arms.
