Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 568: Astraethryn, the Weaver of Eternal Grids

Long ago, in the far reaches of the celestial realms, a cosmic event descended on all, causing the stars to align in a rare phenomenon known as the Trine of Eternity.

It was a convergence of three ancient astral bodies whose energies intertwined perfectly.

This event occurred once every ten thousand years and was believed to be the time when the veil between realms thinned, allowing cosmic power to pour freely into the world.

From the heart of this celestial alignment, the Varathyn Bloodline—a revered lineage of Celestial Weavers—channeled the cosmic energies to weave the very fabric of magical grids that sustained the balance between dimensions.

The bloodline was born of stars and space, with ancestors who had forged indestructible seals to imprison chaos entities and preserve peace across universes.

They were known as the first weavers who touched the secrets of reality and runes, granting them impeccable control over the weave of space and stars.

They were known far and wide as the progenitors of formations, arrays, and runes.

They stood at the forefront of every major war, and due to their brilliance and dedication, they imprisoned countless world-shattering entities.

Due to their dedication, they received the prophecy foretelling the birth of the supreme Weaver, and for millions of years, they waited for the fated birth.

Millions of years later, Selene Varathyn was born in those chaotic moments when the creatures of the Void came. Her birth occurred on a battlefield where her mother was breathing her last breath.

However, despite the unfortunate circumstances of her birth, Selene Varathyn crafted her first Celestial Grid when she was just ten.

It was a powerful protective formation that sealed away a rampaging spirit that had threatened the Celestial Weaver sanctum, where she was studying.

This feat earned her the title ”Arcane Formation Prodigy” among the clans.

But that was just the beginning for her. It was said that at the peak of the battle against the creatures of the Void, she crafted millions of defensive, attacking, enhancement, and various other formations that saved countless lives.

Legend even had it that she single-handedly barricaded an entire galaxy in with a defensive and offensive formation, and for 366 days, no creature of the Void could penetrate it.

The forbidden legends spoke of the time her feat in battle impressed the Soul Weaver, earning her a visit that changed her perspective on everything.

This led her to create the Eternal Grid Codex, the tome said to contain forbidden formations and weaves, influenced by the Soul Weaver.

For years, her Grids protected life and fought against evil.

However, when the Voidborn Legion performed the Ritual of Eternal Doom, unleashing one of the five, the Ancient Void Elders, she was forced to do the impossible.

Legend has it that when the Void opened one last time, bringing one of the five horrors of the Void, Selene Varathyn drew her final grid, The Eternal Love Grid, one that trapped the Void Elder, sealing away the Void for who knows how long.

However, to do that, she had to burn her own soul. This act touched the universe, and in her last moment, she earned the True Name, Astraethryn, the Weaver of Eternal Grids.

Now hovering in the air is Alina, the one said to hold the legacy of Astraethryn, the Weaver of Eternal Grids.

Before her is a large codex flipping through its pages, using the knowledge inside to forge her body. She is being reborn from the wisdom of the Eternal Grid Codex.

Inside the Mountain Garden, Dori and Gaia looked at Akira with raised eyebrows.

⟪What? Why look at me like I have created an abomination?⟫ Akira asked with a smile.

⟪I mean, you didnʼt create an abomination. However, you had to see her and even gave her that forbidden secret. Was mother aware?⟫ Gaia asked.

⟪And you think I went there on my own accord?⟫ Akira smirked.

⟪It was my mother who made me go. But even if she didnʼt, I would have gone anyway. In our existence, we believed we were the only Weavers, and I mean, we are.

However, I saw what she could do, and despite us sitting at the peak, I was impressed. So I gave her the Forbidden knowledge and maybe a...⟫

⟪A what...?⟫ Gaia asked.

⟪Her blood essence.⟫ Dori, however, connected the dots. This made Gaia frown...

⟪You donʼt think that was why...⟫ She wanted to say something, but Dori stopped her.

⟪Itʼs better not to say anything. The deed has already been done, and now, she has a disciple she must ensure grows into the Weaver she was meant to be.

Do I make myself clear, Akira?⟫ Dori wasnʼt joking.

⟪I understand. I will take care of her.⟫ Akira wasnʼt angry or anything.

However, a cardinal rule among the entities that came with the universe was that their bloodline could not be given to anyone, not even each other.

According to the rules, Selene Varathyn was to be banished since Akira enhanced her bloodline with her own. However, an exception was made for her, and she was allowed to live.

But...

Kent watched as the codex flipped to the last page. That was when the clouds parted, and strings of weaves descended on Alina until she was enclosed in a loop of runic strings.

A few minutes later, a large portrait of a serene garden featuring different types of things, which included birds, people, and beasts, appeared behind the loop cocoon.

It opened as long as 300 meters horizontally and 3 meters vertically.

”Oh my freaking god, this is the Celestial Portrait of the Eternal Garden!” Vexthra said, her expression shocked.

Kent turned and looked at her with a smile playing on his lips. ”Let me guess, the Supreme Celestial will be screaming his head off by now.”

”I fear there will be great panic in the God, Supreme, and Celestial worlds. Itʼs good Iʼm not around,” Vexthra smiled weakly. Kent and her sisters laughed, knowing what she said was probably true.

At the same time, after opening for a few seconds, the portrait closed and shrank, turning into a scroll, then went into Alinaʼs forehead.

She snapped her eyes open, causing strings of weaves to form around her.

They formed into a staircase featuring 40 golden steps. She raised her hand and beckoned Kent to walk toward her.

Of course, the brat didnʼt wait a second. He moved and stepped on the first step. However, he felt something enter his body when he stepped on the first step.

”Donʼt stop, keep climbing,” Alina said with a smile.
