Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 540: Become My Servant [Bonus]

A day had passed since Kent dropped the bomb on the Bloodveins. Not that they didn’t see it coming. Kent took them to the location of the spell, and from what they saw, they knew he wasn’t lying to them.

It would be tough to destroy it. And even if they did, the chances of things not escalating were unknown, meaning the spell could not be destroyed.

However, Kent gave them a solution, and while they would love to say he was robbing them, the offer wasn’t something they could ignore.

The fact that they would have a good place to live and even be closer to their god was something they couldn’t deny was enticing.

The only downside was that they would be giving away their precious Blood Heart Stone.

However, Kent wasn’t an unreasonable person. He knew they were going through a lot, so he proposed they put a pin in their discussion until after the battle.

This way, they would have no worries when making their decision.

So, after they came to that conclusion, Kent left with Velyra and helped her advance her chaos qi comprehension until she touched the wall, making her the third to achieve that.

”Thank you, Kent,” she said with a smile.

”No need to thank me. My wives would pull my ear off if they knew I didn’t help a beauty in need.” She smiled, making Velyra blush.

”Don’t flatter me, Kent. I know you’re just trying to make me feel good by calling me a beauty.” Velyra turned away, not wanting to show her flustered expression.

”Oh please, do you look at yourself in the mirror? You are a beauty beyond measure.” Naturally, she was insecure about her skin color being red.

Compared to Kent’s, she felt like she would stand out like a sore thumb when around those not sharing the same color as her.

Not that she was wrong. She would indeed stand out—but then, what about that? She would basically be unique in her own way. And Kent wasn’t one to make a lady sad, so he had to work his magic.

”Trust me, you being a different skin color will make many become jealous of you. I know this because your people don’t have variations like us humans, who have some with long ears, short legs, and stuff.

So, embrace your beauty and don’t let your head down. You are beautiful, and you should embrace that beauty and be proud.”

”Really?” Velyra asked, turning toward him.

”Indeed. I don’t lie,” Kent smiled.

”If you don’t lie, then tell me if you truly have the means to save my people. They are the only ones I have, and while I would love to move away to the other domains, that will cause our bloodline to decline.

So, can you really help us? I don’t mind giving you the Blood Heart Stone now if you can promise me.” Kent was taken aback hearing her words.

’Looks like I touched her heart,’ Kent said to himself.

”I know you can tell if I’m lying, so tell me—am I lying?” Kent sighed and said, ”I really do have a way to save your race and give them a good life. And I wasn’t lying about the fact that your god is where I will take you.”

Velyra studied him for a few seconds before planting her face in his chest and starting to sob. Kent didn’t know why it had gotten to that, but he did his best to console her.

”Just relax for now. I will save your people, and then we can continue from there,” Kent said, wiping her tears.

”Okay,” Velyra nodded, a little embarrassed.

”Now, can you point me in the direction where the lady is imprisoned?” Kent asked, and Velyra nodded, taking him to the prison entrance.

”I will be back soon.” She nodded, and Kent walked inside.

Deep inside the cave, the hunter, who was fortunate enough to be healed by the Tribe Chief, was seated with her right leg bound by a thick chain.

Her body was still aching, but she would live. Naturally, her soul was also wounded, considering all her undead were killed, and she wouldn’t be able to raise them from the dead anymore.

Basically, she would want to die now, but the universe and the tower had other plans. To them, life had just begun when she met Kent.

”Looks like you never anticipated being a pawn in the schemes of the Hand and the Oracles.”

The hunter, who was regretting her decision to come after Kent, suddenly heard a familiar voice, causing her to stand and turn to her right.

”It’s you,” she muttered, a little afraid of Kent.

”In the flesh. Why, did you miss me?” Kent asked with a cheeky smile, staring at her angered expression.

”I bet you’re in deep trouble now. Why, you never stopped to consider that you’re just a pawn being used by the Hand.” Kent couldn’t help laughing.

”What do you want?” the annoyed hunter asked, knowing she wasn’t really in the form to become aggressive.

”I have the means to kill you now, considering you came to kill me. However, I have a different idea.”

”And that is?”

”Become my servant.”

”What if I said no?” the hunter asked.

”Very simple, really. I will turn around and leave. But before leaving, I’ll point out that a battle will happen soon. Right after, the people living in this domain will migrate from here because their land is dying.

Naturally, you will be left here, in which case you’ll die in ten years after the land withers.”

”Why do you want me to become your servant? I am your enemy—you should kill me instead.” The hunter didn’t understand why Kent wanted her to be his servant. It just didn’t make sense.

”Trust me, I have no idea, too. However, my sugarmommy wants me to make you my servant, so I must listen. Now, do you want to? And before you think it, I don’t like slavery, so you will have your free will.”

The hunter thought hard about the offer, but in the end, she accepted it. She hated Kent, but now, she hates the hand and the oracles even more.

So seeing a chance present itself, she took it, even if that chance meant becoming a servant to the most hateful brat she had ever met in her 450 years of existence.

⟪Congratulations. You have received a new servant. Name: Yi Lai⟫

⟪Trust Meter: 22%⟫

⟪Do you want to bestow the Dragon Necromancy class to her?⟫

Kent shook his head. The gift for taking her as his servant was a unique class called Dragon Necromancy. Basically, she can only have dragon undeads in her undead legion.

Kent knew this was something the tower and the universe came together and cooked up, but he was impressed by the unique nature of this class.

”Here you go, Yi Lai. This is my first gift to you,” Kent said, opening his palm. A skull-shaped orb flew out and entered her forehead.

She fell back and passed out. Kent waved his hand, and her body vanished into the tower, appearing inside the Servant Tower.

With that settled, he left the underground prison and started preparing for the invasion.
