Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 531: Soul Exploding Pendant

”I promised to get you two guards, so here they are,” General Low said, pointing at Kent and Kalvas.

The prince was a much taller, thicker pantherkin who, by beast standards, was handsome. But by the look of his nature, one could already see his arrogance from a mile away.

”You two, on your knees,” Prince Ebert said, and Kalvas immediately went down on his knees. Kent, on the other hand, stood there, staring at the prince with a calm expression.

”Didnʼt you hear the order to kneel down?” one of the Batkin standing behind the prince said, pointing at Kent. However, despite directing his aura at him, Kent stood there, unmoving.

He locked gazes with the prince and then asked,

”I didnʼt come here to kneel before you or anyone. I came because I was required to be your guard. Now, I donʼt know if youʼll take offense, but I donʼt see myself going down on my knees anytime soon.”

It wasnʼt that Kent was arrogant. No, he had Larkasʼs memory, and he knew from that memory that Foxkin didnʼt bow to anyone. It was their nature.

Forcing a Foxkin to their knees was akin to dragging their dignity through the mud. So they didnʼt kneel—not even before the tribe chief.

Who knew what would have become of him if he had knelt when Prince Ebert commanded? He would probably have become a laughingstock to many.

”I guess you peasants didnʼt exaggerate when you said itʼs against your nature to bow. I wonder if you can keep that belief for long when I become the tribe chief,” Prince Ebert said with a smirk.

ʼI am killing him first,ʼ Kent thought, knowing too well he would kill him first—and the two bats behind him.

Prince Ebert was a Level 8 Core Formation expert, unlike the priestess of the Bloodvein Tribe, who was at the peak and had already undergone three evolutions.

This meant that he couldnʼt hold a candle to Velyra when it came to battle prowess.

”I donʼt have much use for you two. The only thing required of you is to wear this pendant, and when the battle starts, find a way to sneak into the inner section of the Bloodvein forces and get closer to their priestess.”

”Once youʼre there, shatter the pendant and run away. If you come out alive, know that you will be able to pick three ripe ladies from the Bloodvein Tribe after we win the battle.”

Prince Ebert threw two pendants to Kent and Kalvas, who caught them. Kent did a quick scan, and what he discovered only strengthened his determination to kill Prince Ebert.

ʼThis bastard wants to use my soul to amplify this pendant just to weaken Velyra. Itʼs a suicide mission.ʼ Kentʼs killing intent surfaced, but in soul form, so nobody noticed.

His soul was several times stronger than those around him.

”I will not fail you, my prince.” Naturally, Kalvas had no idea what was happening, so he enthusiastically said this to the prince, who smiled—but with a mocking touch that only Kent noticed.

”I will also do my best not to fail you,” Kent said, putting the pendant on his wrist. Watching this, the prince smiled in his heart.

⟪Name: Soul Exploding Pendant⟫

⟪Grade: Legendary⟫

→ Sacrifice your soul to unleash a powerful area-of-effect soul attack that can render those below Tier 10 comatose and those above to feel a pain so great they will lose control over their senses for ten seconds.

Kent didnʼt say much, but he used his soul to destroy the pendant Kalvas was wearing and quickly ensured the number of people he branded included Kalvas.

”You can leave now. I expect you to find a way inside the domain of the Bloodveins before the battle begins, so start preparing.”

”Thank you for this opportunity, my prince. I wonʼt fail you,” Kalvas sucked up one last time, unaware he would die from this mission if Kent hadnʼt destroyed the pendant. Not that he would live anyways.

Whether he made it inside the Bloodvein domain or not, he was marked for death, and Kent would ensure that.

”I know you wouldnʼt fail me, because if you do, I will come knocking,” the prince said before heading back inside with the two ladies still in his arms.

ʼHe is dead for sure,ʼ Kent said to himself before walking away.

He didnʼt go back home straight away. Instead, he went up a particular hill, sat down, and began meditating.

He didnʼt want to go back to that horny Lovina, whom he had chosen to stay away from behind while he continued his mission. Naturally, the location he picked was just five miles away from the palace.

So when night came, he used the Rule Breaker to cancel his energy, making him invisible to all. This allowed him to sneak back into the mansion, but this time, he made his way toward the main palace where the tribe chief resided.

He came this evening because he knew a meeting was going on, and he couldnʼt miss it. So, after closing in on the building, he climbed up to the stone roof and sat down.

His senses were locked on the prince, who was now conversing with the tribe chief and the three elders that every tribe had.

Like the elders of the Bloodvein Tribe, these three were at the peak and had already completed four evolutions.

ʼTsk, theyʼre all at the 10th Tier in soul cultivation. Though my soul essence is limited, I can kill at least two of them and let Velyra and her people handle the rest.ʼ

Kent quickly branded their souls without a single one of them noticing. He needed them linked to his soul in order to handle them when the time came.

After branding them, it was easy to hear everything they were saying.

”Ebert, didnʼt you find the pawns to carry the pendants?” the tribe chief asked. He went by the name Rokar Dreadclaw, one of the powerful figures in the Dead Region.

He was a hulking figure over eight feet tall, with dark gray skin covered in rough, armored scales. His claws were enormous, and his eyes glowed a fierce red.

His black hair was wild, falling around his broad shoulders like a mane, and his teeth were sharp, capable of tearing through the toughest of hides.

”I did, Father,” Ebert answered with a polite smile.

”Good. Now, I want you to have this.” Tribe Chief Rokar retrieved a right-arm gauntlet radiating intense soul energy from his storage and handed it to Ebert.
