Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 527: Upgrading Soul Mapping Arts Skill

⟪You have selected the skill: Soul Mapping Art to be modified⟫

⟪Requirement met. You have three options to choose from⟫

→ Modify any two of the three abilities (Soul Brand, Soul Lock, and Soul Bomb)

→ Upgrade to Mythic Grade

→ Add two new abilities to the skill

”Hmm. I will go for the third option.” Kent chose to add two new abilities to the skill. He most certainly didnʼt know if the second option would add new abilities after the upgrade.

However, he knew what he wanted, and that was to add two new abilities to his skill. He also knows that if his newly added abilities are robust enough, the skill will upgrade on its own.

⟪You have two slots to add two new abilities. Just give the name of the skill and how it works. The tower will handle the rest⟫

Kent sighed deeply and relaxed his nerves before speaking the name and description of the first ability he would be adding.

”Skill name: Soul Execution Blade,” Kent said, then went ahead to give the description.

”It should allow me to summon a spectral blade forged from condensed soul energy. The stronger my soul, the sturdier the sword summoned is.

Depending on how strong my soul is, I should be able to summon more than a dozen swords at a time. Also, when just one is summoned, it should be more powerful.

It should be robust enough to target any branded soul across space (up to 10 km). The longer my soul sensing range expands, the longer this limit is extended too.

Lastly, the skill should directly ignore physical defense and attack the soul core.”

Kent finished the description, knowing all loopholes were covered and plans for future evolutions were added.

Now, he could summon more than one sword and even extend the attacking range as his soul grew stronger. Basically, this ability grows as his soul or the grade of the skill advances.

⟪First ability recorded. You can give the information about the second ability⟫

”Name of the ability is Netherstorm Howl.”

”The skill should allow me to release a wide-ranging psychic scream that shatters weaker souls within a 10-mile radius.

The closer the person is to me, the stronger the effect on them.

Those who survive become disoriented, hallucinate, or go mad.

To end it, add a special effect called Soul Corruption. This should make the infected targets lose control of soul-based skills for a few seconds.”

Kent again described his skill, and the expected result included everything he wanted. He also made sure no loophole was left here.

A second later, the tower was done, and Kent felt two new abilities added to his skill, which had changed from Soul Mapping Art to Soul Dominion Arts.

⟪Modifications complete. Your skill has evolved⟫

⟪Soul Mapping Arts → Soul Dominion Arts⟫

⟪Grade: Mystical → Mythic⟫

You have unlocked new potential within your soul-based combat path.

⟪Updated Ability Set:⟫

1. Soul Brand

→ Implants a hidden mark on the soul of any target within a 14-mile range and below the userʼs tier.

→ Now resists most stealth or soul-concealing treasures.

→ Tracking Radius: Scales with soul tier.

2. Soul Lock

→ Locks a 100-meter space with soul energy.

→ Unauthorized exit or entry causes searing soul-burn every second.

→ Effect: Soul Paralysis – chance to freeze weaker soul techniques.

3. Soul Bomb

→ Implants a soul-core detonator into branded souls.

→ Snap of fingers = detonation.

→ Can now detonate souls within a 14-mile radius.

⟪New Abilities:⟫

4. Soul Execution Blade

→ Summons one or multiple blades of soul-forged energy.

→ Can strike any branded soul within 14 miles (scales with soul sense).

→ Pierces space, bypasses armor, and attacks the soul core directly.

→ Special Effect: Soul Severance – limits soul recovery for 1 hour.

5. Netherstorm Howl

→ Emits a massive psychic scream in a 10-mile radius.

→ Kills weaker targets, drives stronger ones insane.

→ Effect: Soul Corruption – disables soul-based skills for 10 seconds.

”Perfect. With this, only a few can withstand my wrath.” Kent smiled as he continued moving toward the east of the Dead Region. He didnʼt know if the Soulshroud Tribe had souls stronger than Tier 11.

However, even if they did, it wasnʼt like they could hurt him. This meant he could easily kill those at Tier 10 and below, and find ways to handle those at Tier 11 and perhaps even Tier 12.

Not that he cared about them much.

His plan now was to get to the Dreadclaw Tribe as fast as he could.

On his way, he started thinking of his ladies, so he asked the tower:

”Tower, how are my wives doing?”

⟪They are out of seclusion and now climbing the stairway. It seems the herbs used in tempering their bodies have helped them greatly, considering theyʼre only a few steps away from reaching the Gold Body stage.⟫

Kent smiled, hearing that.

”Is any of them closer to the 300th step?” he had to know, considering he had reached that stage and gotten the Body Transcendence Pill.

If they got one—perhaps, if they hadnʼt yet—they would be drawing close to reaching their first limit, which, when broken, would make them much more powerful.

But aside from wanting to know where they were, he also wanted to see if any of his ladies could surpass him.

⟪Lady Vari is three steps away from the 300th step. Lady Lani, Nara, Elsa, and Neomi are on the 269th step, while Selene, Mara, Camilla, and Ingrid are on the 256th step. Unity, Lilian, Val, Elaine and Alina are on the 235th step.⟫

”Wait, when did Elaine join the training?” Kent asked. She wasnʼt part when he left, so when did she join?

⟪It happened a few days after you left. The goddess brought her to join the training⟫

”I see. It seems Vexthra is doing a good job with them,” Kent said with a big smile.

While it had only been two weeks for him, months had already passed inside the tower, and it was clearly reflected in their training.

⟪Also, Zaila will be out of the Nightmare Chamber three days from now,⟫ the tower added, and Kent came to a stop abruptly.

”Looks like I wonʼt be there to welcome her. I guess Iʼll make it up to her when I return.” He resumed his flight the next second.

It will take three days for him and 72 days for his ladies. This means he wonʼt be able to be there when Zaila comes out.

After five hours, he was nearing the borders of the Dreadclaw Tribe, so he landed and decided to walk the next couple of miles.

He planned to get inside the tribe without revealing his identity, so he started moving in slowly, with plans forming in his mind.
