Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 73: Guardian’s Protect (3)

The guards’ faces turned ashen. Watching the head of their most valuable member on the ground was a huge blow to them.

They wouldn’t accept that. But before they moved, they first had to gain the permission of their leader, who at the moment was frozen in his tracks, watching Kent with bloodshot eyes.

Kent, too, was watching him with eyes full of disdain. He never expected to use the Instant Killing Disc he had earned from the quest when he added Unity to his harem.

But needing a quick method to kill the most dangerous person who could endanger his life, Kent had to use it. At most, he would need three days to charge it back before he could use it again.

”Like I said, I am a guardian, and you losers have taken someone who belongs to me. Naturally, I want her back.

But you guys are not the kind who would heed my request, so I will have to kill you all and take her away. Don’t even think about running because you can’t.”

Immediately Kent said those words, his sword came out of the sheath, and his sword qi and intent surged.

The guards whose faces were full of disdain, immediately turned pale as they felt the pressure surrounding them.

”ATTACK!”

Of course, Vogt gave the order, sending his men to their deaths.

Kent smiled, but then the smile vanished, and his mood shifted.

He moved, and in place of where he was, 36 strings were woven from sword qi appeared. Three guards were unfortunate enough to be in the path of that attack.

The 36 strings passed through them, leaving only chunks of their body parts behind.

Vogt’s eyes narrowed when he saw how three of his finest were killed. He immediately knew why they were given reinforcement.

Of course, in reality, the reinforcement wasn’t because they overestimated Kent. No, they got the reinforcement to make sure he was caught and beaten in ways he couldn’t have imagined.

They only saw him as a mere Root Master, but in truth, they underestimated him.

”Surround him. Don’t give him an opening to attack,” Vogt ordered, watching Kent appear 20 meters away from where he had killed the three guards.

He didn’t know how he moved, but he was keen on tracking him. Of course, he picked up on the teleport skill the next second, but it wasn’t as he expected.

Kent teleported all right, but when he appeared, he just blinked out of existence and then appeared in a different place. The place he was and where he appeared were random, and the distance was also not the same.

’What is this?’ Vogt suddenly had a bad feeling in the back of his mind.

Then Kent chose to make him feel it. The next second, Kent executed a series of rapid slashes before he vanished away. However, while he was away, the first form of the Annihilation Sword Technique was unleashed.

Dozens of sword arcs flashed through the air, catching seven people off guard. They were sliced into chunks of meat. Kent’s attacks were happening randomly and quickly, so they couldn’t track him.

Of course, the [Rapid Slash], which is the first form of the Annihilation Sword technique he received from Vexthra through Unity, was more powerful than he was using it. But Kent wasn’t overdoing it either.

The reason is simple: he doesn’t have the cultivation base to unleash even the first form in its full capacity. But that doesn’t mean he could only unleash a dozen Rapid Slashes either.

The reason he wasn’t using the skill with his full cultivation base was that he was doing something else aside from killing the guards.

Now that he has become a Soul Cultivator, he has more avenues to grow. It was why he was using the [Soul Absorb] skill to absorb the soul essence of those he was killing.

The skill allows him to absorb the soul essence of those he had killed with his hands.

He was killing multiple birds with one stone.

Skill upgrade points, Tower points, and Soul Essence were pouring in as he moved. For now, he was only using the [Annihilation Sword] with the first form, the [Rapid Slash] to run the field.

Kent wasn’t rushing it like he had anticipated. First, all the 170 guards were outside, meaning Li Hua was safe, and second, the person who could have given him a hard time was dead.

With Henry dead, there wouldn’t be any nasty debuff spells raining down on him. He wouldn’t be weakened to the point where he would have been unable to move his limbs.

Taking Henry out had removed that scenario. So for now, he was having a field day with the others. Of course, he was also cautious of two more people.

Vogt and Falk hadn’t attacked yet, but he wasn’t worried much, considering none of them could lock down on him with how fast he was moving.

But even if they did, he could break it. He hadn’t unleashed his aura yet, and it was for a very important moment that hadn’t arrived yet.

One could say Kent had overestimated his targets, and now, he was getting bored.

”Nine Calamities sword strike: True Despair sword strike.”

Suddenly, Kent roared and unleashed the first form of the technique he received from his sword sheath. A powerful sword light flashed forward at the guards.

The guards who were on the receiving end of the sword strike immediately felt despair. Their faces paled, and their legs turned to jelly.

They could only wait for the sword light, made of sword qi and strengthened by the intent of Hatred and Resentment, to devour them.

Kent smiled.

”Elemental Manipulation: Fire Lion Strike.”

Kent unleashed yet another attack, but this time, instead of sword qi, a flaming lion was slashed out of the sword and bathed four guards in a blue inferno.

Kent smiled again. This time, he used the elemental manipulation skill to unleash a sword attack. The skill allowed him to channel his element through his sword.

He didn’t know much about flame manipulation for combat, but with his knowledge of alchemy, he had mastered one move: the Fire Lion Strike.

He had seen this lion on his way to the prison, and right now, he was testing whether it would work as he anticipated.

Of course, with four people set aflame, the technique seemed to be a success. The only thing left was for him to master how to fuse the sword qi into it.

But since it worked, he didn’t stop.

Soon, fire lion after fire lion filled the place. Kent wasn’t holding back.

Soon, 70% were dead, but Vogt and Falk still hadn’t attacked. They kept issuing orders, but none made a move. Perhaps they wanted to wait until he was done killing every last one of their guards.

And Kent was doing it. He was killing them. 90% were dead, leaving only a handful. But the two strongest still haven’t made a move.

The other Saints came forward, but Kent was killing them without mercy. Of course, he wasn’t taking his eyes off the two.

[Master, the ones named Vogt and Falk are about to use a technique to escape, but they wouldn’t leave alone. They seem to have placed a seal on the young miss. The technique will activate in 5 seconds, and it requires two people.]

’What?’

Kent teleported instantly. The next second, his sword was embedded in Falk’s chest. The technique was canceled, and Vogt received a backlash. But then he attacked. Your next journey awaits at empire

”Ashland Sword Art: First form, Blinding Slash!”
