Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 53: Becoming a Pill Master

[You have successfully concocted an Agility Boost Pill. Grade: Tier 0, Quality: Flawless. Purity: 100%.]

[Progress Level: 119/120 Tier 0 Pills to become a Pill Master.]

It had already been five days since Kent began concocting pills. From time to time, he rested to recover his spiritual qi, as the process was taking a greater toll on him than he cared to admit.

That being said, the first day was the hardest. However, after that, the tower proposed a brilliant solution.

Since Kent was already concocting pills, why not make some to help him recover more quickly? With that in mind, he began concocting pills like the Stamina Recovery Pill and, of course, the Qi Gathering Pill.

Thanks to the flawless nature of these pills, Kent could replenish his spiritual qi much faster, and the Stamina Recovery Pill effectively alleviated his recovery even further.

This improvement accelerated his progress, and by the third day, he had already leveled up once, becoming a Level 7 Root Ascendent. This advancement gave him more spiritual qi and energy, enabling him to work many hours without rest.

Kent’s understanding of the Seven Flame Control and Refining Art gradually deepened each day, allowing him to reduce the time it took to concoct each pill.

Every second saved made a difference, boosting his efficiency and filling him with a newfound confidence. He had long been chasing this feeling, and now it was finally within reach.

To Kent, becoming a Pill Master wasn’t just a title. It was a declaration. It meant he had truly stepped onto the path of real alchemy, leaving behind the amateur level granted to him by the tower.

Earning this title through his own skill and effort would solidify his place as a true alchemist. He needed something like that. Something he earned from his hard work.

The challenge of becoming a Pill Master loomed large, but Kent had made incredible progress. Out of the 120 flawless pills required, he had already concocted 119. Just one more pill and the title would be his.

”This is it,” Kent murmured, his eyes sparkling with delight. ”One more pill and I can confidently claim the title of Pill Master. After that, I’ll aim for Grandmaster and keep climbing from there.”

With a smile, he gathered the ingredients for a Minor Defense Pill and got to work. The flames danced under his control, the ingredients merging perfectly.

Forty minutes later, the pill took shape, flawless as always. Kent couldn’t help but smile.

Then, the messages started to appear.

[Congratulations! You have successfully concocted a Minor Defense Pill. Grade: Tier 0, Quality: Flawless. Purity: 100%.]

[Progress Level: 120/120 Tier 0 Pills to become a Pill Master.]

He smiled as he waited for the next set of messages to appear. It didn’t take long.

[You have fulfilled the requirements to become a Pill Master. Your understanding of alchemy has reached a new height. You have received the title Flawless Pill Master.

All pills you concoct will have a 20% boost in vitality, regardless of their purity level.

[You have unlocked the Pill Master Primordial Alchemy Records. You now possess all the knowledge required for the Pill Master Alchemy stage. You can now concoct Tier 1 and Tier 2 pills.]

[To qualify for the next record, you must complete the following challenges:

1. Concoct 60 Tier 1 Flawless Pills.

2. Concoct 60 Tier 2 Flawless Pills.

3. Challenge a Pill Master to a duel and win flawlessly.

4. Concoct a Flawless Tier 3 Pill.

You have six months to accomplish this. Failure will strip you of your current Pill Flame until you somehow manage to complete the challenges.]

”Well, that took a dark turn quickly,” Kent muttered, staring at the tasks he must complete to advance to a Pill Grandmaster.

”Not that I’m complaining. I guess this is just another task I need to check off on the long list waiting for me on this path to the peak of alchemy.”

Concocting Tier 1 and Tier 2 pills, while challenging, wouldn’t be too much of a struggle for him. After all, with thousands of pill recipes now ingrained in his mind, Kent possesses an immense wealth of knowledge about pill concoctions and medicine.

In addition, he now had plenty of money to spend on ingredients, giving him the freedom to practice as much as he needed to master the art and meet the requirements, which primarily revolved around crafting Flawless Pills.

[No, Master. Your title is a unique reward granted by the Alchemy Tower. Essentially, the effect of every pill you concoct will be a 20% increase in purity level. For example, if you concoct a pill with an effect that lasts for ten days, this title will enhance it to work for twelve days instead.

It’s a boon that only you can enjoy.] Enjoy new adventures from empire

Kent grinned at the explanation.

Not only did he have access to countless recipes, but he also carried a buff that applied to every pill he created. That was simply extraordinary.

”I guess it’s a good thing I bought some Tier 1 Pill recipes. Time to concoct the good old Qi Gathering Pill—but this time, at a Tier 1 level instead of Tier 0.”

Kent smiled, then began retrieving the ingredients.

Soon, the cauldron heated up, flames dancing around it as Kent began concocting his first Tier 1 pill. Though it was his first attempt at this level, he remained focused, following the process meticulously.

After 56 minutes, a soft poof echoed from the cauldron. The Tower’s messages appeared before him.

[You have successfully concocted a Qi Gathering Pill. Grade: Tier 1, Quality: Excellent. Purity: 99%.]

[The effects of this pill will surpass all others in its tier. Your title’s bonus ensures its potency is enhanced by 20%.]

”99%, huh? Not bad... but I can do better,” Kent said with determination.

Without hesitation, he began refining another batch. His movements were smoother this time, and his flame was more controlled. After 50 minutes, the cauldron released another poof, signaling completion.

The Tower’s message appeared once more, and Kent smiled in satisfaction.

[You have successfully concocted a Qi Gathering Pill. Grade: Tier 1, Quality: Flawless. Purity: 100%.]

[The effects of this pill will surpass all others in its tier. Your title’s bonus ensures its potency is enhanced by 20%.]

[Qi Gathering Pill]

[Grade: Tier 1]

[Quality: Flawless]

[Purity: 100%]

[Effect:]

> This pill accelerates the user’s Qi gathering by 90 times their normal speed. It lasts for 48 hours.

[Note: Because of the 20% added effect, the pill would work for 58 hours at 108 times the person’s cultivation speed]

Kent grinned, looking at the perfectly crafted pill in his hand. ”That’s what I’m talking about.”

Kent quickly tossed the pill into his mouth and began cultivating. Although he gets stronger by having sex, that doesn’t mean he can’t cultivate using the traditional way.

That being said, he wanted to see the effect of the pill firsthand before making it public. After all, when word gets out that there is a Flawless pill around, everyone is going to flip, even if it’s just a Tier 0 or Tier 1 pill.

Two days later, Kent opened his eyes with a slight smile. He had leveled up again. He had now become a Level 8 Root Ascendant.

He quickly exhausted his ingredients, concocting five more Flawless Qi Gathering Pills. Once he was done with the last pill, He left the seclusion and wanted to go to Lilian for a steamy session.

However, before he could leave, his master who had left 7 days ago finally returned. Kent went to see her first.
