Global Rainstorm: I built a sky city in the doomsday

Chapter 38 The worries of the mother and daughter who depend on each other downstairs! As mentioned earlier, the relevant departments of Xia State have built steel roads called the Doomsday Road in places across the country where conditions permit, in order to deliver supplies to various communities.

This road can also serve as a road for community residents to help each other.

After all, the disaster situation is too serious and the relevant departments are simply unable to cope with it. It is also a kind of self-salvation to let everyone unite and help each other.

This is all they can do!

As a result, people like Xu Biluo have emerged: for various purposes, they entangle their accomplices to break the law.

Xu Biluo wore two thick down jackets and walked on the steel road with a man. The dagger in her bag was warmed by her, giving her a little warmth and comfort in this cold weather. She secretly thought in her heart that when she grabbed Lin Yang’s food, she would have a full meal as soon as possible, and then find a way to take some food away from here.

After all, the dozen or twenty men she gathered were all vicious and evil, and she didn’t think she had a way to control them.

”Let’s go at the back and let those guys go ahead.”

The man next to Xu Biluo is Wang Fengyun. Because of his overconfidence, he has been in a very bad situation during this period. First, he has no money and no supplies. Second, when his parents flew to western Tibet, he insisted not to leave, and ended up being trapped here.

When his family wanted to use money to ask the relevant departments to send him to western Tibet by helicopter, it was impossible.

”Well, Mr. Wang, how many bullets do you have in your pistol?”

Xu Biluo still asked worriedly. ”Remember to save it, and use it to scare those guys not to use force against us!”

”Don’t worry!”

Wang Fengyun cast a comforting look and stepped more firmly.

The road to the end of the world is not as lively as imagined. There are only a few people passing by in groups occasionally. When they cross each other, they hold their weapons vigilantly, alert to the sudden attack of the other party, and everyone is on edge.

The rainstorm continued. Even the best umbrellas and raincoats would be penetrated by a small amount of rain, so walking outside was extremely dangerous. Once the clothes got wet, if they were not changed to keep warm in the first place, once they caught a cold and could not find medicine, they would surely die.

One, two, three...

More and more people came from all over and gathered around the downstairs of Xingfu Community.

The property had closed the door and fled long ago, so the order of the community no longer existed. The relevant departments were running around every day to deliver a small amount of rescue materials, striving to ensure credibility, so they had no time to stay in one place to manage.

This also reduced a lot of unnecessary trouble for these people.

They were preparing, and Lin Yang’s death soldiers were also preparing.

In the large area of the living room at the entrance of Lin Yang’s house, the death soldiers covered a very spacious area with a white wire mesh.

This wire mesh was connected to the power supply. When they all rushed in, as long as Lin Yang gently pressed the switch in his hand, these people would be like mice stepping on the sticky mouse board, and they would be instantly electrocuted and lose their combat effectiveness. If they were unlucky, they might be electrocuted to death.

Lin Yang chose this method to prevent the house from being damaged during the fight, which would be so annoying.

So he decided to electrocute them!

…

When the rainstorm apocalypse became more and more serious, those who stayed at home and waited for death were either physically disabled or cowardly.

There are still dozens of families living in the building where Lin Yang lives. Most of them dare not go out without permission, and they save money and wait for community assistance. When they see many people with bad faces gathering downstairs, they know something has happened.

They may be targeting Lin Yang upstairs, so they closed the doors and windows and used some furniture to block the doors, fearing that they would be harmed.

Especially a woman on the 27th floor. Not long after she gave birth to her daughter, her husband died unexpectedly. She has been raising her daughter alone for so many years. When the Sky City press conference threatened that there would be continuous rainstorm disasters the next day, she took her 18-year-old daughter to the supermarket to buy a lot of supplies.

When the rainstorm lasted for two days, she felt something was wrong and went to buy a lot of supplies again.

When the rainstorm lasted for more than 50 days, no one in the community knew that their family still had enough supplies. If used properly, they could survive for another month or two.

Because their home was downstairs from Lin Yang, they were worried that these people would start robbing other households after they returned home.

So, seeing many men gathering downstairs, the mother and daughter panicked, after all, they were the closest to Lin Yang’s home.

”Mom, what should we do? Will they...”

Daughter Chu Guoguo was only 18 years old. She had just been admitted to the university and had not yet reported, but she encountered the apocalyptic disaster. At this young age, this situation was still quite scary for her.

”Don’t be afraid, just don’t make a sound.”

Mother Chu Shufen was also afraid, but she couldn’t show it, because her daughter had to rely on herself!

After Chu Shufen piled some furniture against the entrance door, she thought about it and said in a low voice. ”Let’s go, let’s change into some clothes that won’t be easily torn off, and put the knife on our body. If necessary, don’t reason with these robbers!”

Said pulling her daughter to the bedroom and began to look for suitable clothes.

Chu Guoguo asked in confusion: ”Mom, I understand bringing the knife, but why do we need to change clothes?”

Chu Shufen sighed, her daughter was still a girl after all, she had never been in love, and didn’t know the evil of human heart.

”Change clothes to prevent them from doing something bad!”

Chu Shufen decided to explain frankly to her daughter. ”Think about it, if the clothes can be easily torn off, will they be able to succeed easily?”

”If we replace it with something stronger that they won’t tear off easily, we will have more time to call for help!”

”Of course this is just a precaution, not absolute. They might find food upstairs and leave!”

Chu Guoguo was not stupid. She blushed and nodded: ”Mom, I understand...but!”

”But if they rob Lin Yang’s house upstairs, stay there, and then start raiding other neighbors’ houses, wouldn’t we be in danger?”

Chu Shufen also felt a headache and could only beg these people to leave early.

After thinking about it, she couldn’t help but said: ”Guoguo, that Lin Yang upstairs often posts food and drinks in the owner group and on other platforms. Mom tells you that if mom dies one day, you must run up Go upstairs and beg him to take you in!”

”He must have his own strength to show off his wealth at a time like this. You are only eighteen years old. Old men like them like girls your age best!”

”Besides, you are so beautiful, he will definitely cherish you.”

”But you have to know that men like him definitely have no shortage of women. If you want to get more love and care from him than other women, you have to learn to use some small tricks to please him...”

”...”

Seeing her mother say this as if she was explaining the aftermath, Chu Guoguo shook his head in pain, wiped his tears and changed his clothes.

”Mom, I won’t live with an old man. It’s disgusting!”

”Don’t worry, if you die, then I won’t be alive either. I won’t go upstairs to ask for help!”
