Global Rainstorm: I built a sky city in the doomsday

Chapter 18 At first, no one paid attention to the sudden rainstorm! The first drop of rain falls from the sky.

Lin Yang’s heart beat rapidly, but the system’s voice suddenly sounded in his mind:

[The global heavy rain has begun, and the end of the world has officially arrived! 】

[New main quest released: Survive in the apocalypse that lasts for unknown years, and live well! 】

[Tip: The god-level survival system has reached a new milestone, and the filtering function is turned on! 】

[The so-called screening function can help the host distinguish between good people and bad people. While living better, it can also screen good people as human fire reserves. 】

[Tip: After the end of the world, whether to treat or take in some humans depends entirely on the mood and needs of the host, and the system will not interfere. 】

Along with the sound of the system, a mysterious and mysterious feeling filled Lin Yang’s mind.

He also learned about the new functions enabled by the system.

Lin Yang subconsciously glanced at the TV, which showed our reporter Wang Bingbing at work.

[Name: Wang Bingbing. 】

[Occupation: reporter, host. 】

[Charity value: 95 (100 for full kindness)! 】

[Evil value: 3 (full evil 100)! 】

When he looked away, this set of information disappeared.

The new functions enabled by the system are simply even more powerful!

”Crash...”

The raindrops were like dropping beans, making a crackling sound and instantly wet the hot ground.

There was a characteristic burning smell in the air.

Lin Yang walked to the spacious floor-to-ceiling glass window again, picked up the telescope and looked at the street.

Not only did people not take shelter from the rain, but they walked on the street and laughed in the rain.

Some people just started taking a bath with shampoo and shower gel, and some people were lying on the ground rolling around, shouting something.

Cars that were still moving ignored the traffic lights, stopped where they were, and joined the carnival.

”Hahaha, damn, it really rained!”

”This heavy rain is so refreshing. Let it rain more and don’t stop.”

”Brother, give me some of your shampoo!”

”Damn, I thought the hot weather was going to last forever.”

”Aww... Oh my god, it’s been almost a year since I’ve seen rain. You’d better have more rain!”

”Hey! Brothers, let’s have a water fight!”

”Damn it, it’s raining so hard? It’s because the sky is leaking!”

”...”

Scenes like this happen almost everywhere in the world.

Rural residents gathered in small groups to talk about their farm work arrangements after the heavy rain.

Capitalists in the city started making phone calls to connect with people and prepare to invest in the next economic recovery.

And most people don’t realize that this is a heavy rain that will never stop in their lifetime.

People are still sharing their carnivals on the Internet.

Gradually.

Countless TV stations have analyzed and reported on this sudden heavy rain, and invited experts from various fields to explain.

”This heavy rain came suddenly, but don’t worry, it will stop in two or three days at most!”

”Friends, please take action. The weather has returned to normal and the economy should recover!”

”Things will inevitably turn into reverse, otherwise things will turn out well. This is what we say. So my team and I knew early on that it was going to rain heavily recently. Hey, has it been verified?”

Countless experts have appeared and been interviewed on various media platforms.

Even though they knew they were farting, netizens were in a good mood and did not criticize them online.

Seeing this situation, Haishi TV Station invited Professor Lu Zhiyong, an authoritative expert on meteorology from Xia State, to conduct a comprehensive interview.

The host happens to be Wang Bingbing, because she just finished interviewing Sky City’s press conference yesterday.

Today, the station asked him to interview authoritative experts, which was also a means of ratings.

Sure enough, when the interview started, both the TV station ratings and the TV live broadcast room were extremely popular.

Especially in the live broadcast room, more than 200,000 people watched online.

”Hello, audience, I am the host Bingbing, and this is Professor Lu Zhiyong, an expert in meteorology in my country. Let us welcome you with applause.”

In the camera, Lu Zhiyong, who is in his early sixties, is in high spirits, nodding to greet everyone.

Wang Bingbing continued: ”Professor Lu graduated from a top university in the world, and has in-depth research in meteorology, geology and other fields. Today we invited him to explain to us the situation of sudden heavy rains and the future weather. Condition.”

”Haha, it’s easy to talk, easy to talk, tell me everything you know, and say everything.” Lu Zhiyong crossed his legs and said with a comfortable posture. ”Actually, after my research, I already knew that it would rain and cool down recently. I also wrote about it in my article before, but no one believed it.”

Wang Bingbing smiled calmly and said: ”Then, Professor Lu, how long do you think this heavy rain will last? Will it be like what the chief engineer said at the Sky City press conference yesterday? It may continue to rain for a long, long time?”

”It’s impossible, it’s just nonsense!”

Lu Zhiyong shook his head and criticized. ”He is an architect. Does he know meteorology? It’s just a gimmick to gain attention. However, there was indeed a heavy rain hundreds of millions of years ago that lasted for two million years, called the Carnian Flooding Event. But It’s just a guess, no one has seen it with their own eyes.”

Lu Zhiyong talked eloquently and said: ”I think this heavy rainstorm that starts all over the world at the same time will last from three days to a month.”

”It will continue to happen in inland areas around the world. Floods may occur in some low-lying places, but the floods will recede soon. You don’t have to worry. Just take certain protective measures!”

Looking at his face, netizens in the live broadcast room suddenly felt unreliable.

[Everyone just needs to listen to what the experts say. 】

[What were you doing earlier? You really know how to evade the important and choose the light. If you have the ability, you can tell the reason for the sudden heavy rain. 】

【That’s it? I know how to do this. Who can give me a high salary? I can also be an expert! 】

[Am I the only one who thinks what the engineer said yesterday is more reliable? After all, the raindrops really fall here at twelve o’clock! 】

[Damn it, it’s also twelve o’clock sharp here! 】

[Isn’t this too coincidental? Or is this all true? Will this heavy rain bring about the end of the world? 】

[Brothers, the latest news, according to statistics from many countries, regardless of the time difference, it really rains almost simultaneously all over the world! 】

【……】

Gradually, netizens discovered this worrying situation, and more and more people watched the speech of the Chief Engineer of the Dead yesterday over and over again.

This discussion has become more and more heated as time goes by.

At twelve o’clock in the night, the entire Internet was full of topics about the end of the rainstorm.

What worries people the most is...

Twelve hours later, the heavy rain has not weakened or stopped, and many cities with weak drainage systems have begun to experience flooding.

Subways were suspended in many places, street stores were flooded, roads collapsed, and power outages occurred in some areas...

Many people began to feel the slightest fear and began to think of ways to purchase various supplies.

The streets and alleys of the city are filled with rushing water.

At this time, Lin Yang’s cell phone suddenly received a notification sound. It was a message from all members of Green Tea Xu Biluo Aite:

”Everyone, please help me. I haven’t eaten in the rental house all day. I just ate an apple since last night!”

With Xu Biluo’s shameless start, others also complained.

”Stop talking, I just ate two kilograms of fucking plums, and I’ve been losing weight all day!”

”If I had known better not to listen to the experts, I should have listened to the engineer of Sky City!”

Hao Xueru: ”Students in Haishi, we all need to help each other!”

Shi Chengfu: ”I just ordered a truckload of food and drink supplies from the town. If it arrives, let everyone know. If you need it, message me privately. Ladies first~~”
