Earth's Greatest Magus

The group entered what seemed to be another training complex–a significantly smaller barracks compared to the Terra Barrack. The atmosphere here was distinctly different, with the palace appearing somewhat disheveled, accompanied by lively noises reminiscent of a bustling tavern. As they approached the entrance, a sudden uproar ensued, and a voice rang out, “Everyone!! The chief is here!! Gather up!!”

A knowing smile crossed Klea’s face. “Aahh, I know what this place is!” she exclaimed. However, it wasn’t the shouting that tipped her off; rather, it was the distinctive aromas wafting from the vicinity.

Just a few steps away from the entrance, the door swung open, revealing a beautiful brown-haired female magus who greeted them enthusiastically. “Brother Emery, you’re here!”

The sudden burst of enthusiasm led to an embrace with both her arms around Emery, “I’ve missed you so much!” this caught Gwen a bit off guard.

Klea, seizing the opportunity, playfully teased Gwen with a mischievous look, while Morgana simply observed with approval. Emery, ever composed, acknowledged the affectionate gesture with a calm response.

“Tatyana, good to see you too,” Emery said, reciprocating the warmth.

“Please come in… everyone is here,”

Upon entering, the group encountered a gathering of almost 100 individuals, a quarter of whom were magus. There was a distinct aura of familiarity among them, and it took Gwen a moment to observe the striking resemblance they bore to the fey sisters. Turning to Morgana, Gwen sought confirmation, and Morgana nodded in acknowledgment, signaling her understanding of Gwen’s unspoken question.

The place was named the Twilight Hall, a bespoke sanctuary crafted exclusively for the wolf bloodline warriors. This extraordinary assembly included warriors transferred from Silvermane City and those who had joined Emery’s pack during the past four years.

Emery, displaying keen insight, understood that these half-

blood warriors would find little fulfillment guarding the desolate moonbase. Consequently, he orchestrated the creation of the Twilight Hall, a palace meticulously designed to cater to their unique needs. Positioned strategically, it provided convenient access to Zodiac City while ensuring a sense of community and belonging for these exceptional warriors.

Klea, who prided herself on staying well-informed, was taken aback by the sizable gathering of wolf half-bloods in Terra City. While she had heard of Emery’s decision to send the 10:46

dragon warriors back to Zodiac City and replace them with City. While she had heard of Emery’s decision to send the dragon warriors back to Zodiac City and replace them with the wolf counterparts, the extent of the gathering surpassed her expectations.

Amidst the assembly of two dozen magus, one figure commanded attention and respect above all—the white-

haired elder, Chief Beowlf. Though still on the journey to reclaim his former vitality, the seasoned wolf leader had reached the half-moon stage.Emery showed him the respect he deserved, recognizing the old wolf’s leadership and expertise, making him the ideal figure to guide and mentor this unique group of warriors.

There was Yoro, the once-young Sandune wolf whom Emery had saved, stood alongside Andrei, the winged wolf. Along with Tatyana, this trio, nurtured and empowered by the abundant resources Emery had provided over the last four years, had successfully ascended to the coveted Magus realm. The transformative journey not only marked their individual growth but also solidified the familial bond they shared as a close-knit pack.

The contrast in this group of 100 half-blood demeanor toward Emery was striking. While the 3000-strong force had accorded him the honor befitting a ruler, this smaller group treated him with an intimate warmth, akin to a beloved elder brother. The pride in their eyes spoke volumes about the unique connection they had forged.

As the vibrant lunchtime gathering drew to a close, the wolf bloodline warriors swiftly transitioned into action, seamlessly orchestrating the preparation of a sumptuous feast befitting their honored guest.

The Twilight Hall resonated with the lively tales shared by the wolf bloodline warriors. Yoro and Tatyana recounted their journeys alongside their chief, each narrative met with eager anticipation from Gwen.

Amidst the joyous occasion, another wolf bloodline member’s arrival surprised Klea. This was a Grand Magus-level individual, who possessed a distinct aura. A middle-aged woman with striking purple hair, Grand Magus Fantasme, had been dispatched by the Silvermane to assist Emery.

Observing the remarkable entrance, Klea couldn’t resist commenting, “The Silvermane truly holds you in high regard.”

The truth of the matter was evident—Emery, not only possessed the extremely rare rank 9 wolf gene but also carried the legacy of the late Silvermane Alpha King, he held a position of paramount importance. His safety had become one of the Silvermane’s top priorities. When Emery sought assistance four years ago, Grand Magus Fantasme was promptly dispatched to stay by his side, a testament to the Silvermane’s unwavering commitment to his well-being.

However, the shared history between Emery and Fantasme, coupled with her undying loyalty to the Corvin family, created an unspoken barrier between them. Emery’s wariness, intensified by Fantasme’s status as a Grand Magus, hindered complete trust. Consequently, Emery assigned her the specific duty of safeguarding Terra City, ensuring her responsibilities were limited.

At the festive feast, Fantasme’s presence was not merely a formality; it was an act of respect, a recognition of her role in Emery’s safety. Emery recognized this with a thoughtful toast, a gesture reciprocated by the others, marking a moment of shared camaraderie and mutual understanding.

Following the lavish feast, the group leisurely strolled back to the Terra palace. As they approached, both Magus Silica the Second and Magus Rosia emerged from their training sessions to greet Emery.

“Welcome back Lord”

The two, insist on addressing him as lord to ensure the efficient governance of the place.

A satisfied grin adorned Emery’s face as he watched the tangible improvement in their abilities—both magus had ascended to the full moon magus realm.

Reflecting on the past, Emery recalled his initial plan to expend a significant portion of his apothecary earnings on acquiring another Grand Magus individual four years ago. However, the strategic proximity to Zodiac City and the presence of Grand Magus Fantasme had altered his decision. Instead, he channeled his resources into empowering the five Izta widows and fortifying the city, a choice that yielded remarkably satisfactory results.

Silica and Rosia now dedicated their time to intensive training and efficiently managing the city under Emery’s guidance. After a brief exchange of greetings, Emery tasked the two magus with preparing for an important meeting scheduled for the next day.

Subsequently, Emery and the girls retreated for a private moment. Klea openly expressed her amazement at the transformation of Terra City, marveling at the evident progress and the extraordinary efforts Emery had invested in its development. The conversation flowed naturally, painting a picture of camaraderie and mutual appreciation for the accomplishments they had witnessed.
