Shelter: All-Class Survival

Chapter 23: wooden treasure chestAt this moment, Chen Chen was not far from the beast, so he naturally let the bees investigate carefully. Chen Chen didn’t dare to let the bees attack, for fear that it was a timid animal and ran away after being attacked.

Going forward in the direction pointed by the bee, and at the same time constantly sensing the bee hundreds of meters away, constantly approaching the beast.

The land in this area is relatively flat and there are many shrubs. Chen Chen couldn’t see the beast at all, and it was difficult to assess its strength.

”Great is a serval. It’s the biggest size. It should be able to run when it sees me. Even if it attacks me, it will not be fatal.”

Although the information sent by the bees was vague, the overall difference would not be too much. This beast was the size of a serval cat. Chen Chen felt that he could handle it.

Two hundred meters.

One hundred and fifty meters.

One hundred meters.

Fifty meters.

When he approached fifty meters, Chen Chen finally saw the appearance of the beast.

It is not a cat, nor is it a big vole, it is an intermediate type, it is a fox.

The fox turned his back to Chen Chen, and stopped and lingered in that place.

Although he felt that he couldn’t kill the fox, Chen Chen still wanted to try it.

Chen Chen lowered his body, bent down and quietly approached the fox.

Forty meters.

Thirty meters.

Getting closer and closer, seeing that Chen Chen was about to approach the fox 20 meters away, the right ear of the fox walking forward suddenly moved, and then turned to look in the direction of Chen Chen.

”Oops, it was discovered.”

Seeing the fox turning his head to him, Chen Chen knew that he had been exposed, so he stopped hiding immediately, picked up the long knife and rushed towards the fox.

At the same time, Chen Chen sighed slightly in his heart, this fox is not a field mouse, and he doesn’t know how to burrow into a hole, so he will definitely not be able to catch up with the fox at such a distance.

At the same time, the fox saw that the hair on the back of Chen Chen’s neck exploded, staring at Chen Chen with a pair of blood-red eyes, and ran towards Chen Chen with all his strength.

”Um?”

Chen Chen was a little surprised at first, and then saw the red eyes of the fox and the fox rushing towards him frantically, which made Chen Chen startled again.

This was actually a mad fox, and when he saw Chen Chen, the player, he took the initiative to rush to Chen Chen.

”Do you want to fight? Or retreat?”

This idea just appeared in Chen Chen’s mind, and Chen Chen suppressed it. At this time, he couldn’t retreat. Facing the fox head-on was the most correct choice.

The fox’s eyes were not pale red, but blood red. Chen Chen felt that the fox was on the verge of mutating into an aberrant beast.

The fox ran to Chen Chen in the blink of an eye. Chen Chen held the long knife in both hands, and let the tip of the knife lock the fox.

The fox kept moving forward, and Chen Chen’s knife kept locking on the fox, fine-tuning the direction following the fox’s trajectory.

The distance between the tip of the knife and the ground is about 70cm. The fox rushed to the front and naturally wanted to burrow through. Chen Chen concentrated on sweeping down, and the blade rubbed the fox’s skin and swept it to the side.

The Tang Zhidao produced by the system is still very sharp, and when the knife lifts the fox flying, it also leaves a long wound on its body.

The fox was really crazy, and after landing, regardless of the pain, he turned over and charged towards Chen Chen again.

Chen Chen was still focused, the tip of the knife pointed at the fox, and moved according to the situation.

When the fox rushed forward, this time Chen Chen seized the opportunity and stabbed directly.

Tang Zhidao pierced from the back of the fox’s left forelimb, penetrated the chest cavity and stabbed into the soil.

The fox immediately struggled frantically, and Chen Chen didn’t back down, he just grabbed the blade so tightly that he wouldn’t let the fox break free. In less than ten seconds, the fox struggled for a long time and stopped breathing.

Chen Chen observed it and determined that the fox was really dead, so he removed the long knife and tied the fox with bark.

[Fox (corpse): A fox that was stabbed twice in the body and died unexpectedly. The fur was greatly damaged and weighed 14 pounds. 】

Then Chen Chen traded the fox to Wang Yu and asked him to keep it for him. The voles traded in the morning weighed less than six kilograms, and the fox’s 14 kilograms were less than 20 kilograms, so the transaction was just right.

After the transaction was completed, Chen Chen was not in a hurry to return. When he just discovered the fox, he saw the wooden box next to the fox, and now he naturally wants to take a look.

The workmanship of the wooden box is very good, the square is square and the surface is very flat, there is no reinforced wooden bar on the outside, the box body is dark brown, and the wooden texture is natural and beautiful.

The system information will then appear.

[Wooden Treasure Chest: The specific items refreshed in the abnormal world are relatively rare, and there are 1~3 items in it. 】

”Huh? There are still these things?”

Chen Chen was a little surprised, and immediately tried to open the box.

Chen Chen groped for a while and found a square wooden block on the front of the box. Chen Chen pressed it down, and then a gap appeared along the box, and the wooden box was easily opened.

There was only one set of items in the box, but Chen Chen was ecstatic when he saw it. There was actually a crossbow arrow and matching bow and arrow in this box.

[Cheetah M58: total length 88CM, weight 4kg, crossbow pull: 84kg (185 pounds), bow effective range: 136 meters, maximum range 160 meters. 】

The introduction is simple, but this crossbow is really unusual.

This is a modern crossbow with a complex mechanical structure. The back of the crossbow is a crossbow stock similar to a gun stock, and it also has a scope. The crossbow arrows lay quietly in the box, and there was a bundle of 10 crossbow arrows beside it.

Seeing the introduction of Chen Chen, the whole person was stunned, UU reading www. uukanshu.com He originally just wanted to get a bow and arrow, but he didn’t expect a modern crossbow to be opened directly in the box.

A crossbow is much stronger than a bow. Not only is it more powerful, but it also has much higher accuracy because it doesn’t need to force the bow to use it.

Chen Chen remembered watching TV when he was a child, saying that it took at least half a year to train a qualified archer in ancient times, but it only took a month to train a crossbowman, and the fighting power of a crossbowman was even higher than that of an archer.

This is just a comparison between ancient times. What Chen Chen has now is a super-powerful modern crossbow, which is completely the product of two dimensions.

Chen Chen pressed his excited heart, put the crossbow arrows back into the box, tied the box with paracords, carried it on his back, and started to walk back.

If I can find a crossbow today, it’s worth everything. Dangerous in the wild, it is better to go back first and then play with the crossbow.

When packing the box, Chen Chen also thought about it, and took the crossbow to the east to find the slightly larger beast.

Judging from the information on those crazy animals, the ones who are crazy at present are basically small animals. The large animal is only encountered by the fire king Cao Xin, and the rest are basically small animals that are not dangerous.

In the past two days when the animals went mad, because they actively attacked the players, many players hunted the prey, and the relative price of the food dropped a little.

However, the thought of hunting the big beast today just turned around in Chen Chen’s mind, and Chen Chen put it aside. Now he doesn’t even know how to use the crossbow arrow, so don’t take the risk. Only carnivores, then he used to go to deliver vegetables.

Running with the box on his back, Chen Chen soon returned to the shelter.

Before Chen Chen could study the Cheetah M58, a transaction in the forum attracted Chen Chen’s attention.
