Shelter: All-Class Survival

Chapter 4: Food is more expensive than lifeNow that I open the forum again, everyone is not as funny as in the morning, and most of the posts are complaining.

And the number of people in the regional forum was only 980. In just one afternoon, 16 people died!

Chen Chen was also tired, hungry and thirsty at the moment, so he clicked [Transaction] to check.

At this moment, the number of transactions on the trading channel has increased, from fire, to mountain spring water, to stone... Basically, there are everything that is easily available outside the shelter.

These items are very cheap, and what everyone is looking for is food, medicine, bandages and other things refreshed by the system.

Among them, one person also posted a blueprint for a [1.5-meter wooden bed], asking for ten pounds of meat.

However, apparently no one bought it at this stage. Although many people want to know the role of blueprints, no one has ten pounds of meat now, and even if there is, there is not enough wood to build.

Therefore, although it is the most valuable item in the trading area, no one cares about it.

In the entire area, two-thirds of the people who could not find food accounted for a full two-thirds. Many people were hungry, and food became the most scarce material.

Players have basically never experienced such a long period of starvation, and they can’t stand it all at once.

And as time goes by, everyone’s tolerance continues to decline. The prices of all kinds of materials kept dropping, and they were cheap enough to be picked up for nothing.

The seller of the blueprint for the 1.5-meter wooden bed adjusted the price from ten pounds of meat to four pounds of meat in less than two hours.

This reminded Chen Chen of an economics story.

If the originally abundant food is now enough for 99% of the people to survive, how much will the price of food rise?

50% increase? Up 100%? Up 500%?

Not at all. The price will rise directly to the point where the last 1% of people cannot afford to buy all their properties!

Although the reality is more complicated, the basic principle will not change. This is the status of necessities.

Chen Chen thought about it, took out a chicken wing tip and placed it in the trading area.

【Authentic Fried Chicken Wings】

[The taste is very delicious, it is used to change the water, the higher price will get it. 】

Once the food was released, it immediately attracted the attention of many players.

Suck a snail: Wow, poisoning late at night! slid~

Park Park Park Zhengyi: Is it a liter of water?

Giegie is so good. Li Tieniu: There is fried chicken, I love it.

I am the protagonist: Brother, my shelter is not far from the water, you give me, and I will supply you with water for two days, okay?

Many people’s shelters are built near water sources, and everyone keeps prices down, so now water is very cheap.

Seeing the message from the person [I am the protagonist], Chen Chen didn’t wait any longer, and just chatted privately.

[Chen Zhen: Water supply for two days, yes, now it’s getting dark, how much can you give me today?

I am the protagonist: Brother, I don’t have a container right now. If you want it, I will give it as much as you want in 20 minutes.

Chen Zhen: Oh. 】

After saying oh, Chen Zhen exited the interface. He suddenly found that he didn’t have a container for water either. Without a container, it would be a big loss.

So Chen Chen went to the trading system to find the container again.

[I’m the protagonist] I don’t know what happened. Seeing that Chen Chen stopped talking, thinking that someone had a better price, he couldn’t help but send messages anxiously.

I am the protagonist: Big brother, are you still there?

I’m the protagonist: Big brother, how about I give you another discount, how about three days’ worth of water?

I am the protagonist: big brother...

Soon, Chen Chen found the person who sold the container, the one who reminded everyone to change his name [Xing Kai, a survival expert in the wild].

What he sells is a water container he made by hand from palm leaves, and a container can hold about half a liter of water.

Chen Chen sent a message directly.

Chen Zhen: How do you change the container?

Xing Kai replied quickly.

Xing Kai, a survival expert in the wild: Are you the one who sells chicken wings? Do you still sell chicken wings? I can change up to five.

Chen Zhen: Anything else? I have wood, not thin trunks, but planks.

Outdoor survival expert Xing Kai: Huh? Do you have an axe or a saw? I’d like to exchange the right to use the axe with you if you want.

Xing Kai, a survival expert in the wild: With tools, I can make more things. The trading system can set the usage time, but I can’t take it away.

Xing Kai, a survival expert in the wild: I can put the jacket on me on you. The original price was more than 4,000. These two things are at least equally valuable in the wild.

Chen Chen thought about it for a while and thought it was feasible, so he asked: I have a Tang Zhidao, so it should be fine, right? Tell me about the terms of exchange.

Xing Kai, a survival expert in the wild: Tang Zhidao is even better. How about letting me use it for four hours at night? I will give you all these five containers. I will give you another three-liter bamboo basket tomorrow. Can you think of it?

Chen Chen thought about it for a while, and felt that this person was very sincere, so he sent a message.

Chen Chen: Don’t wait a few hours. I’ll lend you the knife in two hours, and you can just return it to me at six tomorrow morning.

Xing Kai, a survival expert in the wild: Okay, so thank you!

Soon, Xing Kai’s transaction application was sent, and Chen Chen agreed without any problems.

Then Xing Kai sent five containers over, and the jacket was given when the Tang knife was exchanged.

With the container, Chen Chen turned to look for [I am the protagonist].

I went to Chen Chen to read the previous post and found that this ”I am the protagonist” is Wang Yu, who started to post that he is the protagonist.

This one is really unforgettable.

…

I am the protagonist: Brother, five days, five days really can’t be more.

Chen Chen: What are you doing? I didn’t say no, I just went to find the container.

I am the protagonist:…

In a wooden hut, Wang Yu slapped himself on the mouth, ”Do something wrong!”

But at this moment, he has no room for regret, he typed with red eyes.

I am the protagonist: five days as promised! Big brother, let’s trade, I’m so hungry!

Chen Chen: Good.

Wang Yu felt a little suffocated. He really had to work for five days.

However, Wang Yu still quickly sent out a transaction request. It was the first time he experienced the feeling of being hungry, and he really couldn’t stand it.

After confirming the transaction, Chen Chen began to wait. Wang Yu had to go to the water source to trade for Chen Chen.

The chicken wing tip was traded to Wang Yu, who used a systematic lease transaction and leased Wang Yu’s water service for five days.

Transactions are guaranteed by the system, and equivalent items will be deducted for violations.

Then Chen Chen exchanged a piece of wood for the kindling, and a fire started in the house.

In the beginning, the kind of fire was not so cheap, especially when Cao Xin used his own flame ability to get it out. He directly sold a pound of meat to start, which made everyone discouraged.

Later, Xing Kai, a survival expert, drilled wood to make a fire, and gave a very low price, so everyone could use it.

Later, after someone exchanged the tinder, they also hung it up and sold it at a lower price, but this behavior was very despised.

In the previous communication, Chen Chen felt that Xing Kai had a good character, so he directly exchanged a spark from him.

After lighting the fire, the room became brighter, and Chen Chen checked the hive.

At this time, the bees came back one after another, and the hind legs were covered with honey and pollen, and the efficiency of honey collection seemed to be good.

Chen Chen immediately felt the internal situation of the hive and found that some honey had been produced at this moment, and the amount was only a few grams.

Chen Chen knew the situation inside the beehive. At this moment, as the field bees brought back materials, some young worker bees began to mix pollen and honey to produce honey, beeswax, and royal jelly.

Chen Chen felt that as long as he wanted to, he could order the worker bees to increase the production of royal jelly or beeswax.

However, Chen Chen had just started beekeeping and didn’t know much about it, so he didn’t dare to adjust the output of these things indiscriminately. It would be bad if the bees died in large numbers.

Besides, the beehive has just started, so it is better for the bees to decide how to make the various ingredients.

Chen Chen estimated that after the bees process the honey, excluding the consumption of the bees themselves, almost 50g of honey can be produced.

”Honey is definitely one of the top resources in the wild. It’s amazing to quickly replenish physical strength without mentioning the taste.”

To survive, food, water, shelter, and fire are all indispensable.

Because it can be traded freely, neither water nor fire is a problem. And there is a shelter for everyone.

What everyone lacks is food, and honey is definitely a high-end food in the wild.

Before it was dark, Chen Chen still had some time left.

Chen Chen walked out of the shelter, chopped down some surrounding trees, dug some soil, and picked up some stones to prepare for the night.

When the wood was moved into the shelter, Wang Yu’s news also came.

I am the protagonist: Brother Chen, I am by the stream now. I will pass on how much water you want.

Chen Zhen: OK, you can just pass it on, it’s enough for me to send you a message.

I am the protagonist: Alright!

Then Chen Chen saw a faint light flashing in front of him, and a small stream of water began to flow down from it.

Chen Chen first filled five palm leaf containers, then simply took off his clothes and started taking a bath.

I am the protagonist: Brother Chen, why has it been so long, my hands are tired.

Chen Zhen: Alright, alright, stop.

I am the protagonist: OK, then I will go back.

********

Wang Yu let out a long sigh of relief, shook his sour hand, took a few sips of water and prepared to go back.

At this moment, a flash of light suddenly flashed in front of him, and a fried chicken wing fell directly into his arms.

Wang Yu was a little stunned for a while, ”This is...”

Then Wang Yu opened the private message.

Chen Zhen: One chicken wing for two days of water is basically the limit. I will pay you five days for five days. Hope we can continue to cooperate in the future.

Wang Yu was a little moved, this time, instead of the tip of the chicken wing at the beginning, he gave a whole chicken wing!

Wang Yu was silent for a while, and finally sent a message solemnly.

I am the protagonist: Thank you, definitely!

At present, there are only six or seven people in the area who can get water. This time, they took advantage of it. Next time, as long as they trade with the other party, a chicken wing can easily be doubled by the other party.

Moreover, Wang Yu’s attitude was also good when he fetched water, so Chen Chen naturally did not want to take advantage of such trivial matters.

Chen Chen didn’t reply. After he gave the chicken wings, he went to post.

Many people are powerful, and Chen Chen is ready to take the lead and share his experience and conjectures to see if they can help each other.

It is very likely that other people will also start posting some of their own discoveries, so that they can understand the world as soon as possible.

Just came to the abnormal world, the players are still very harmonious. After all, they have the same hobbies and similar cultures, and there is a trace of sand sculptures among netizens.
