Shelter: All-Class Survival

Chapter 3: search and harvestChen Chen carefully came down from the cliff and instructed the bees to collect honey freely, leaving only 1,000 sanitation guards around him.

It’s also good to have these bees on short-range vigilance when going out.

The sun was still shining, Chen Chen rubbed his stomach, ”Fortunately, I ate half a watermelon at noon, and I didn’t feel thirsty after running for so long.”

After the bees scattered, Chen Chen didn’t set off immediately, but chose a dwarf tree with a thick wrist to break it.

Cut off all the extra branches and hit the tip with a stone at one end. A simple protective weapon is done.

Afterwards, Chen Chen took the stick and set out on the road carefully.

The west side is the only direction that bees can find food, so Chen Chen first explored the west side.

There must be many scattered things elsewhere, but the bees can’t tell apart anything right now other than food and beasts.

Chen Chen approached the cliff and explored forward, while constantly looking around.

The search in the game only needs to send the villain out, and you can bring something back after half a day or a day.

But now it is up to the players to search for them by themselves. If you are not careful, you may miss the supplies.

After walking about a kilometer, Chen Chen discovered the first resource.

A pile of stones neatly stacked in one place.

Chen Chen was speechless. After he walked over, the system really prompted [one unit of stone].

”Is this the material that the system refreshes in the field?”

Chen Chen picked it up and looked at it again, and found that it was really just an ordinary stone.

”Aren’t the stones around the shelter fragrant? I brought this thing back when I was out of my mind.”

Throwing down the stone, Chen Chen thought about it and scattered the stone with his feet.

Sure enough, the system [one unit of stone] prompt disappeared.

Chen Chen nodded, ”It seems that when the materials are gathered, the system will directly give the number of resources.”

Chen Chen continued to walk forward. According to the information given by the bees, the food should be 2.5km west of the shelter.

You have to go on for a while.

Finally, after walking for more than 20 minutes, Chen Chen saw the food.

That is?

【A large portion of fried chicken】

[Frying with a complete feed chicken, because the chicken is still warm when placed in the sun. 】

”Outrageous, fried chicken! Still warm?!”

However, when he thought that he had crossed into this world, Chen Chen suppressed his complaints and quickly walked over to pick up the fried chicken.

Chen Chen took out the chicken thigh and tasted it, and it was delicious.

Then he sighed, ”My three views are broken, literally. I have to understand the world well.”

The fried chicken was in the box, and Chen Chen took it like this and continued to explore.

However, he didn’t put the chicken leg in his hand, and ate it straight away. He was a little hungry after walking for so long.

After finding the food, Chen Chen only knew that there were beasts in the east, and he didn’t know anything about the rest.

So Chen Chen started to search in a semicircle with the place where he picked up the chicken legs as the center.

Chen Chen can clearly see the objects around him about ten meters, and as long as he sees the objects, the system will also prompt them.

So the collection efficiency is still acceptable. When the search diameter was expanded to 1,300 meters, Chen Chen finally found the second good thing.

An antique and modern Tang Zhidao.

Antique is because this knife really has various ancient aesthetic decorations, and the decorations on it are much more complicated than many unearthed cultural relics.

The modern flavor is this kind of straight, short and sharp knives made of special steel, which really did not exist in the Tang Dynasty.

【Tang straight steel knife】

[Forged with modern technology, exquisite production, high hardness and good toughness, the total length is 50cm, and it was used as a weapon in the Tang Dynasty. 】

Chen Chen was very happy, ”With the knife, it will be much easier to fight beasts or deal with resources.”

Chen Chen was as happy as the second grader of elementary school when he bought a pencil sharpener. He held it in his hand for a while before carefully hanging it around his waist.

After that, Chen Chen stopped searching, took the knife and walked to the dwarf tree beside him.

Then Chen Chen used the Tang knife to cut open the top of the stick before, placed the handle in the middle, and used the bark just treated to fix the handle firmly.

In this way, a long-handled knife is ready.

”If you encounter a beast, you can fight better.”

After disposing of the armor, Chen Chen continued to search.

But after searching for half an hour, Chen Chen still found nothing.

Chen Chen looked at the time, it was already 5:12 in the afternoon.

In the middle, he ate some fried chicken to replenish his strength, but at the moment he felt a little thirsty.

Chen Chen continued to search, and after ten minutes, Chen Chen found a third item of supplies.

[11-core paracord (15 meters): There are 11 ropes in one paracord, which are made up of fire-resistant rope, fishing line, wax rope, and high-strength nylon rope, which are necessary for survival in the wild. 】

Chen Chen didn’t expect that he would find an umbrella rope. With an umbrella rope, many things will be much easier to do in the future.

If there is a strong and durable paracord, Chen Chen would not have to rub the bark to fix the Tang knife just now, which can save a lot of time.

The toughness of this umbrella rope is very high, and a single piece can bear a weight of 300 kilograms, which is completely enough for Chen Chen.

Picking up the paracord, Chen Chen prepared to continue searching.

But just when Chen Chen was about to search for a while, the attribute panel sent two prompts.

[Ding, the player has been in the wild for four hours. In another hour, the radiation dose of the player’s abnormal world will reach the upper limit, which will cause irreversible effects on the player’s body. Please return to the shelter quickly. 】

[Ding, two hours later will usher in the night of the abnormal world, the number of radiation and beasts in the abnormal world will increase significantly, players must return to the shelter before this. 】

Chen Chen’s face was solemn, ”There are still such restrictions.”

This abnormal world is definitely not an ordinary physical world!

”Huh~” Chen Chen exhaled a long breath, ”Then go back quickly, today’s harvest is already very good.”

Immediately, Chen Chen chose a path he didn’t take and started to return.

Unexpectedly, not long after this trip, I discovered new resources.

[3 units of wood]

[Neatly cut, durable, and extremely versatile wood. 】

The three units of wood were neatly stacked in one place. Chen Chen started to measure it. Although it was a little heavy, he felt that it was still within his tolerance. So Chen Chen tied it with the bark left before, carried it on his back and continued to return to the shelter.

”You can only be outside for five hours a day, so the time is still a bit short.” Chen Chen thought while walking: ”But today I spent a lot of time making armor, and the search efficiency is also very low. It should be enough time to get used to it later. use.”

”In the future, activities such as mining, water collection, and logging will be greatly affected.”

After another 20 minutes, Chen Chen finally returned to the shelter.

He put the pieces of wood on the cliff platform one by one, and then climbed up himself.

Chen Chen finally breathed a sigh of relief when all the supplies were gathered in the hut.

Although there are bees to scout the approximate location of the beast, it is not safe to be in the wild, and Chen Chen can be completely relieved when he enters the shelter at this moment.
