Cursed Immortality

Chapter 1092: Dark Prince Authority

At this moment, under Jacob’s soul search, cracks began to appear on the Deathless Prince’s soul totem, and Jacob knew this was the sign of the Deathless Prince’s impending death if he didn’t stop.

’I still don’t get anything related to Autarch yet. However, my early suspicion is confirmed; he was after Autarch because of the Throne of Death. I can still extract more memories, but doing so will kill this guy, and I might still not get anything on Autarch...I guess I have to trust Autarch.’ Jacob thought gloomily before he stopped using the soul search.

The Deathless Prince almost fell off his throne, and this time, those undead showed signs of breaking free from the Deathless Prince’s control, especially those Legendary King rank undead kneeling beside his throne.

Yet, Jacob didn’t show any sign of alarm and thought, ”Gluttony Genesis!”

The next moment, Dark Star’s face transformed into a dark void, emitting a terrifying attraction force that locked onto the almost dead Deathless Prince’s visage. Without any resistance, the Deathless Prince’s entire body was sucked into the seemingly boundless darkness.

”Gluttony Shapeshift!” Jacob’s emotionless voice rang, and the next moment, Death Star’s body started to morph into Deathless Prince.

Within a moment, the Deathless Prince seemed to be born again, but his eyes were more ruthless and indifferent. A ghostly light flashed in his abyssal eyes, and all those undead who showed signs of resistance trembled before quickly reverting to their peaceful state.

’A necromancer’s death law and comprehension are truly different from someone like me, who only comprehended Death law at a superficial level. However, Soulmancer is still more profound and complex...’ Jacob thought as he sat on the Noxvalis Throne just like the Deathless Prince a moment ago.

Jacob called out coldly at this moment, ”Dark Rose!”

In the gloomy throne hall, a crimson light flashed in the middle, and a blurry silhouette of light appeared in front of the Deathless Prince.

Moreover, the moment this silhouette appeared, a crimson light suddenly flashed over Deathless Prince, but Jacob didn’t react and remained indifferent as if already expected this action.

At this moment, the Dark Soul Ring on Deathless Prince’s hand flickered with a unique mark, and Deathless Prince’s soul totem sigil suddenly manifested above his Dark Soul Ring.

Although, as a Dark Being, the Deathless Prince can only use Dark Network, it doesn’t really matter to the Dark Kingdom or any neutral faction because they have branches in the Dark Network just like in the Star Network.

The common belief of the living beings was that the Dark Network was exclusive to the Dead Faction, but it wasn’t true at all. Any Dark Being, whether they belonged to the Dead Faction or not, could gain access to the Dark Network unless they were wanted by the Dark Network, just like Star Criminals of the Star Network.

However, it was still a fact that the Dark Network was slightly biased towards the Dead Faction, just like the Star Network seemed biased towards the Life Faction. This was a mystery no one could understand, nor has anyone the means or power to probe it.

At this moment, the crimson light on Deathless Prince vanished, and the crimson silhouette, who was Dark Rose, the artificial intelligence and most likely a Machina Unit of the Dark Kingdom, spoke in a static voice, ”Are you really Deathless Prince?”

Jacob wasn’t surprised by Dark Rose’s underlying interrogation because he knew Dark Rose monitored everyone within the territories of the Dark Kingdom without exception, not even a Dark Prince could escape from her monitoring.

”You just confirmed my identity, yourself. Do you still have doubts?” Jacob subtly replied without any intention of answering her question straightforwardly.

According to Black Mechanic, every Machina Unit under the three absolute factions was actually Red Rank Spirit Mechanics (Born with Three Connate Aspects), which ranked below Black Mechanic’s previous Blue Rank (Born with Five Connate Aspects) before it turned black after Jacob used a wish to tame it.

That’s why, no matter how rational their cognitive abilities were, and what they witnessed, as long as their analytical logic didn’t find any fault, they would still work as usual.

That’s why Jacob didn’t bother to hide himself and directly devoured the Deathless Prince while knowing that the Dark Rose was watching because he knew that as long as he could ’prove’ his identity, the Dark Rose wouldn’t be able to do anything.

This was a massive flaw of Machina Units below Blue Rank, and Black Mechanic also told Jacob that these Spirit Mechanics of the three absolute factions were probably under the secret control of SAAI or Undying Will without even their owners’ realization it, making it even more difficult for them to break free from their core commands. So, Jacob was now taking advantage of this huge flaw.

Just as Black Mechanic emphasized, Dark Rose became silent in front of Jacob’s question because she had conformed to the Deathless Prince’s identity with her unique scanning authority, and there was nothing wrong with it; even the soul totem sigil was the same.

So, despite her rational question earlier, she can’t do anything else unless she can confirm that this person was not the Deathless Prince. Neither could she initiate any defensive protocols nor investigation because the Deathless Prince was a Dark Prince rank official dark noble.

Unless someone with a higher authority inquired about it or the Deathless Prince betrayed the Dark Kingdom, he was untouchable!

Dark Rose spoke in a static voice, ”Identity confirmed! Greetings, Deathless Prince! What can I do for you today?”

A hint of mockery surfaced in Jacob’s eyes as he thought about the time when he was afraid of Dark Rose and Dark City. Yet, now, after taming Black Mechanic, he knows more than even the faction leaders of the three absolute factions about these so-called all-knowing artificial intelligences.

Without hesitation, he ordered, ”I’m using my authority as Dark Prince to open a teleportation gateway into the Dark Regal Galaxy!”

After a moment of silence, Dark Rose’s voice rang, ”Teleportation Gateway for Deathless Prince will be ready in three days!”
