Lewd System: Every Scream and Moan is EXP

Chapter 282: Chapter 282 : What the Hell is Going On?

Elira was struggling against Leon. Actually, struggling was generous. Leon was playing with her. He knew he had enough time on the clock and wanted to drag this out for as long as Draven needed to finish the job on the other side.

Right now Elira was taking the support of a broken tower in the ruined city, her back pressed against the crumbling stone while catching her breath. Leon shattered his own ice sword in his grip like it was a disposable tool he had grown bored of. Then he started walking toward her. Casually. Hands in no particular stance. No urgency on his face.

And with each step he took, the climate around him shifted. Every ruined building he passed started forming a coating of ice just from being near him. Frost crawling up the walls. Puddles freezing mid-ripple. The air itself turning thick and white with each breath.

As he closed in, Elira reached for her spatial ring. A storage device loaded with the blood supply she needed for her attacks. Some blood dropped onto the frozen ground and she manipulated it instantly. A sharp, small lance formed in the air and launched straight at his chest.

Leon grabbed her hand before the lance could find its target. Tightened his grip until the construct collapsed and splattered on the ground between them.

”Do you understand now? The difference in power between us?”

He slammed her against the tower behind her. Pinned both her hands above her head with one grip. Pressed close enough for the cold radiating from his body to bite into her skin.

”See, this is you. This has always been you. Utterly powerless. And soon you’ll realize how much worse it gets when you’re nothing but a royal slave. A princess laid out helpless in shackles she earned through her own stubbornness.”

His eyes drifted down to her smooth pale hands pinned above her. He tilted his head.

”Want to see a preview?”

He didn’t wait for an answer. His magic surged through his grip and in the next moment her hands started freezing. Her already pale skin went even paler before turning slightly purple as visible particles of ice formed across her flesh. Her veins darkened to black beneath the skin. And the feeling in her fingers vanished entirely. As if they had been amputated without the courtesy of actually being removed.

The pain was immense. The kind that made your mind go white. But Elira did the only thing she could.

She spat blood directly onto Leon’s face.

And before he could even flinch, she manipulated it. The blood tore across his skin like invisible razors, giving him the same burning experience he had just forced upon her.

Leon screamed. His grip failed. He stumbled back clawing at his own face as the blood magic seared through his flesh. After several seconds of struggling he finally snapped back to reality and cursed through the pain.

”You’re going to pay for this. For everything. You bitch.”

His eyes found Elira already running. Clutching her unresponsive hand against her chest.

He shouted after her. ”How far do you think you can run from me with that broken body of yours?”

Meanwhile the clash between the siblings was unfolding on the opposite side of the ruined city. It was the hottest battle in every sense of the word for the kingdom of Drakenmoor. Their citizens were watching the future of their kingdom collide in real time.

The Dragon King himself was glued to the projection in the VIP box. He didn’t care anymore who won or what this fight would look like to the people. Because his eyes were doing only one thing. Praying for the safety of his children specially his daughter.

Seraphina was out there refusing to go down despite the odds stacked against her being almost comical. She had a phase three mana core that had been stagnant for a long time, having hit her natural potential ceiling. Draven on the other hand had already reached phase five. With enough room to grow toward phase X and become one of Drakenmoor’s greatest treasures.

All the Dragon King could do was watch the red flames collide with the blue and pray.

It had been more than thirty minutes since their battle started.

Seraphina had been doing her best to stall. Using every tactic in her arsenal to delay without letting Draven catch on. Conversation traps that ate up minutes. Using Elira’s name as a decoy that fooled the idiot multiple times into scanning his surroundings for an ambush that wasn’t there. Every dodge, every counter, every attack she threw was precisely calculated to buy as much time as possible.

But the difference in their mana reserves and quality was taking its toll. She was running on fumes while Draven still had a tank to burn through.

Both siblings now stood opposite each other. Seraphina positioned herself directly between Draven and Jax’s chamber. Blocking the only path to his target.

Draven, frustrated beyond reason at his inability to make his own sister submit, began gathering energy for a final attack. ”Sister, just submit already and move out of my way.”

Seraphina’s expression shifted. She knew she couldn’t dodge this one. The attack was aimed directly at Jax’s chamber behind her. The chamber’s health had already dropped to eighty. She had been using its massive HP pool to her advantage throughout the fight. The chamber was designed to absorb any attack that hit it, sending the energy into a void while only registering the numerical damage. Whenever dodging felt impossible and the aftermath of Draven’s fire would have sent her into the dirt, she had simply let the attack pass through to the chamber instead.

But she couldn’t afford that now. She had calculated the damage of Draven’s ultimate pyroball at somewhere between one hundred and one twenty depending on how much he had left. That would shatter the chamber and end the match.

So she gathered her own mana. Whatever scraps remained inside her depleted core. And fired her blue flames directly into the incoming fireball.

Her flames started wrapping around the devastating attack. Swallowing it. Containing it. A burning hell trying to consume another huge burning hell. Seraphina poured everything she had into her flames and they responded by doing their absolute best to neutralize the assault.

After a brutal struggle, she succeeded. The fireball was consumed.

But the collision of opposite mana signatures detonated right in front of her. The blast threw her back a dozen meters. She hit the ground hard and rolled through debris. Her body was screaming. Burning scars tore through her runic gear. Flesh exposed beneath scorched fabric.

A notification from the academy support division appeared in her vision asking permission to teleport her away due to her critical condition.

She declined. Still laid on the ground. Still breathing heavily. Still refusing.

Draven looked at his sister with genuine regret. ”I’m sorry, sis. But you left me no choice.”

He started walking toward Jax’s chamber.

Then Seraphina’s voice erupted behind him. ”ELIRA! Now’s our chance! He’s emptied his mana core! Finish him!”

Draven clicked his tongue and instantly scanned the ruins around him. Eyes darting from shadow to shadow searching for the ambush.

Which gave Seraphina exactly the opening she needed. From behind, with whatever strength was still left in her broken body, she delivered a punch square into his face.

Both of them hit the dirt. Seraphina from complete exhaustion. Draven with one eye struggling to open from the impact. He lay there cursing himself. ”Damn it. I fell for it again.”

Then he turned his head and saw Seraphina lying right beside him. Vulnerable. Done. He forced himself to his knees and raised his hand. Flames gathered around his fist. Aimed directly at her.

Seraphina said calmly. ”Elira, what’s taking you so long?”

Draven snarled. ”Enough of your games. I am not falling for the same trick again.”

She smiled. Her face covered in burns and scars that made the smile look more terrifying than any threat she could have spoken.

”You fell for it seven times today, you fool.”

And then she was gone. Force teleported away by the system. Eliminated from the match.

Draven hissed at her final words but then his anger dissolved into a wide grin as he turned and saw Jax. Still sitting on the chair inside the chamber. Like a king on his throne. Unbothered. Bored.

Draven walked toward him like a predator approaching prey that couldn’t run.

But then Jax stood up from the chair. And whatever satisfaction Draven had been carrying evaporated. Because there was nothing in Jax’s eyes. No emotion. No worry. No rage. Just emptiness that was somehow more intimidating than fury.

Draven didn’t like that arrogance. Decided there was no point in getting close or trading words. So he created a fire tornado from what little mana he had recovered and sent it spiraling directly at the invisible chamber.

He watched it approach. Grinning. Imagining the chamber shattering and the victory being sealed.

Then his grin died.

Because Jax simply vanished.

One blink. That’s all it took. And in that blink, Jax appeared directly in front of him. His fingers interlocked with Draven’s raised hand and crushed them backward with a force that made every bone in his knuckles scream.

Jax’s voice came out low and steady. Carrying a weight that made the fire tornado behind them feel like a gentle breeze.

”How dare you hurt my student.”
