Lord of the Truth

Chapter 2105 The Miserable World Array

In a remote, isolated location within Mid Sector 101-

At the very apex of the thin, almost imperceptible atmosphere of a planet, where the air was far too tenuous to be breathed, where the substance of matter brushed against the infinite void of space... stood a lone figure, silent yet commanding in presence, gazing downward with a calm demeanor, though his eyes told a different story.

Those eyes, wide and unblinking, dark and foreboding, emitted tiny black filaments, as if shadows themselves were creeping from within them. Eyes that unsettled even the strongest hearts, eyes that were bleak, merciless, and full of icy judgment... it was Lord Damir.

At that very moment, something profoundly unnatural and extraordinary was unfolding across the surface of the planet he observed with quiet intensity. Three enormous, circular energy arrays hovered high above the planetary surface from three separate directions, each spinning slowly around its axis. Their rotation was deliberate, steady, and calculated... drawing in an unseen force, absorbing energy and life in a manner that defied comprehension. Beneath Lord Damirʼs unwavering gaze, tens of millions of creatures scattered chaotically across the planet, running in every conceivable direction. Their movements resembled a colony of ants whose nest had been violently obliterated-frantic, chaotic, purposeless, filled with palpable terror, screaming in anguish that echoed across the desolate plains.

Why were they fleeing?

Not even they could answer that question.

The colossal arrays in the sky were invisible to them, far too immense to be perceived directly. The only indications of their presence were faint, almost imperceptible glimmers, barely distinguishable against the tapestry of distant stars.

Among the panicked creatures, grotesque, malformed entities drifted silently, moving with deliberate curiosity rather than aggression. They did not attack, did not interfere, yet their presence added a layer of ominous tension, as if they were searching for something long lost, something the fleeing creatures could not comprehend.

Why did they run? Some instinct, some deep, primal warning whispered to them of imminent death. And where were they running to? They did not know. Their frantic movements were entirely instinctive-a last, desperate attempt to find shelter, a vain effort to escape an incomprehensible threat. Much like humans scrambling from their living room to a kitchen when a massive, unstoppable missile hurtles toward their city, they scattered, seeking refuge that did not exist.

Lord Damir, however, perceived a reality far beyond their understanding. With his sharp, bulging eyes, he saw the soul creatures themselves meticulously combing the planet for treasures, hoards, and hidden caches, systematically stripping the planet bare. From every living being, he saw black tendrils extending, weaving into a dark, swirling halo of negative energy, thickening with each passing moment.

Every ounce of fear, every scream, every collision of panicked beings fed into this dense, suffocating black mist. Even the smallest interactions-one fleeing creature bumping into another-amplified the threads and the darkness, feeding a rapidly growing storm of negative energy.

Lord Damir could see the accumulation of negative karma forming a deadly, lethal halo-a force so potent that no Tyrant descendant had ever witnessed its scale, not since the rise of the genius Kaylis and the expansion of her formidable family.

With his unmatched power as a Nine-Star Royal Soul Master, Damir exercised a curse unlike any other, instilling utter terror into the hearts of all who lived on that planet. Through the immense arrays above, he absorbed the life energy of every creature dominated by fear, despair, and negative emotion.

When these arrays reached their peak saturation, he would wield a weapon of unparalleled lethality-capable of threatening entire civilizations with a mere appearance. A weapon that could bypass the most advanced planetary defenses with ease... and once refined to completion, no one would know how many planets would be left as open, lifeless graves.

This was the apex of the Cursed Tyrantʼs achievements-a power that allowed him to stand invincible, unchallenged, and unparalleled before any other

Tyrant. ”...” Damir continued to stare downward, his expression icy and detached, coldly indifferent to the chaos below.

Under normal circumstances, he would refine only a limited number of creatures into a single array, allowing it to reach full saturation slowly, methodically, at its own pace. But recent events demanded urgency, forcing him to accelerate the process, refining as many as possible-even if only partially, even if imperfectly.

Especially today... the sudden emergence of a new Law Dominator, likely a enemy.

There was no Nexus State under his control in Sector 101 ready to breakthrough, not since the last time he had observed them al least.

Of course, the arrival of even one more Law Dominators to join the rest of the sectorʼs notorious troublemakers would normally not make much difference, but-

Rrrrrr ”Hmm?” Damir lifted his head slowly, his face a mask of calm, yet every nerve alert.

Then, Bam!-the structure of space itself cracked and shattered, and in that empty void a radiant shadow emerged. ”...?” Damir, who had expected perhaps one of his brothers to appear, furrowed his brows sharply, disbelief etching lines across his stoic features as he beheld a woman standing there. ”Who... is that?”

Immediately, his eyebrows arched slowly, ”...?” He began to grasp just a fragment of the reality before him. ”...Helen Destra?”

Damir had never once been afforded the chance to meet the famed daughter of the Behemoth of Destruction. He had only ever heard whispers, legends of her terrifying beauty and power, had seen a single, frozen portrait long ago-a haunting image that had never left his memory.

Such overwhelming, almost supernatural beauty could never be forgotten, even if one lived for countless millions of years.

Yet there was something deeply unsettling about her.

Her face was utterly devoid of emotion, perfectly composed, a mask of unyielding serenity-but he could feel the pounding of her heart even across the distance, fast and furious, a drumbeat of suppressed rage. Her anger radiated like an electric current, impossible to ignore.

And her aura... ”This aura!!” Damirʼs eyes finally widened in recognition, and he twisted his body sharply, turning fully to face Helene. ”You are the new Law Dominator of this sector?!”

Whoosh

Damir waved a hand lightly, and immediately, the three massive arrays hovering above the planet stilled. Their rotation ceased, the flow of energy into their cores stopped entirely, and they remained poised, motionless, as though waiting silently for his next command.

He spoke again, his voice steady, calm, but heavy with quiet intensity. ”What brings you here alone, Helen?” Then, allowing himself the rarest of smiles, he added, ”Hmm? Perhaps youʼve come surrendering... seeking refuge? That is the only rational explanation I can find that makes any sense.”

He then looked at her slowly from the bottom up, his gaze superficially filled with disdain, yet internally, he was savoring every detail of the breathtaking scene before him without the slightest doubt. ”You have risen to become a Dominator under on minor law, yet here you stand, seeking revenge for your brother or something? You intend to achieve what neither your brother nor his followers ever could?”

He chuckled softly, a sound almost like a whisper in the void. ”Hehe... such impatience, if I am to be honest. You should have waited a while, at least until you grew accustomed to your own strength-at least until your powers matured fully, maybe get a few helpers before rushing into this.” ”What did you just say?!” Helenʼs aura erupted violently, a storm of energy that made the surrounding space quiver with her fury.

Her face could no longer contain the fire blazing inside her chest. Her eyes opened to their fullest, glaring like twin orbs of molten intensity, and she advanced slowly, deliberately, each step a clear statement of intent and wrath. ”Repeat what you just said.” ”...?!” Damir instinctively took a step backward, the intensity of her aura charged with the destructive energy of her Destruction-law infusion. ”What is wrong with you, Helen? Do you really intend to fight me today?” He gestured sharply with a hand. ”Perhaps your brother seeks the galactic seed to dominate this sector, what gain would you have by confronting me here? Your empire lies in Mid Sector 100, does it not?!” ”Repeat... what... you said...” Helene pressed forward relentlessly, her eyes blazing, her heart pounding like a war drum, her hands trembling uncontrollably from rage and anticipation. ”...” Damir furrowed his brows, a deep crease forming above his eyes. ”Do you think Iʼm afraid of you? Which part, exactly, Do you want me to say again?” He scanned the surrounding space rapidly, preparing his arrays, fully aware that Helenʼs uncontrolled fury was about to manifest into immediate, violent action. ”You just... infiltrated the sector? You seeking revenge for your brother?”

He continued in a measured, calm tone, buying himself precious moments as he organized and activated his arrays. ”...Or that are impatient and-?”

Boooooooom!
