Lord of the Truth

Chapter 1849 Protecting the important

Deep within the inner reaches of the Young Sector 99ʼs cosmic expanse - precisely one light-hour away from Nihari- ...

A human young man sat comfortably on a wide, cushioned seat, one leg casually crossed over the other, gazing through the reinforced window of his spacecraftʼs cabin at a breathtaking, almost unreal view.

At this distance-nearly a full billion kilometers away from the artificial Nihari Galaxy- the sight before him carried a strangely majestic uniqueness.

Three intensely radiant points pierced the darkness, shimmering so brilliantly they dwarfed every other star in the surrounding stellar sea.

Three suns... the Three Suns of Nihari.

Aside from their blinding glow, nothing else could be clearly seen.

But he had traveled to Nihari and departed from it many times before.

He knew exactly what lay hidden behind that glittering veil, even if the human eye could not perceive it from this far out.

His imagination effortlessly filled the cosmic gaps.

He could almost see the colossal Nihari Planet positioned at the very center of the three suns, moving in an incredibly slow, elegant orbit around all of them at once...

He could imagine the hundreds of planets spiraling between the three suns, in what should have been an impossibly tight space-yet everything flowed with flawless harmony, never colliding, never crossing paths.

The domain governed by the Nihari Seed-along with the incredible spread of light and heat radiated by those three suns- made it theoretically possible to add tens of thousands of planets in the distant future.

The planetary rings could one day stretch all the way out to the young manʼs current position, a billion kilometers away, without destabilizing the system or changing its seasons.

The reason for that miraculous order... was Neri, the planetary spirit.

Whenever a new planet was added to the artificial Nihari orbit, it immediately behaved as if it had always belonged there.

The soul of Planet Neri automatically harmonized its motion, granting it exactly the right amount of sunlight from one of the three suns, and assigning it an orbit whose full revolution matched the number of days used by the rest.

This absolute, unparalleled authority possessed by the Seedʼs spirit was what kept the galaxy stable-smooth, synchronized, free from internal collapse or cosmic disasters.

But... not all threats are internal.

Krshh

The transceiver in the cabin crackled to life. ”This is Stellar-Scout Unit 008. A vessel is approaching from horizontal bearing 270 and vertical bearing 210.” ”Alright, boys-looks like this sortie is ours.”

The young man finally stood, clapped his hands together, and smirked lightly. ”The trajectory of that ship will interfere with our own path a little. Letʼs go greet our visitor.” ”Yes, General!”

The officers immediately returned to their stations, and the ship adjusted its heading.

Fwoooom.

It was a Note Destruction-4 vessel, accompanied by ten Note Flood-4 support ships, all accelerating rapidly in a perfectly straight formation. ”General Burton, who do you think they are? Someone from the Centennial Empire of Tilda again, trying to snoop around as usual?”

One officer asked with a serious tone. ”Weʼll find out soon enough...”

General Lamy Burton replied firmly. ”Theyʼre not necessarily Tildaʼs spies. Every single day the patrols intercept at least two or three unauthorized ships passing from this direction. Itʼs our job to stay polite, avoid aggression, and redirect their course peacefully-same procedure as always. Understood?”

He returned his gaze toward the brilliant horizon. ”By the orders of the Shadow Swords... by the orders of the Marshals... by the orders of every commanding authority-we must not draw any attention or cause any disturbance near the galaxy.

The True Beginning Empire in the Young Sector 100 has some freedom to move, unlike us...

But we must protect our beautiful homeland, no matter the price.” ”Understood!”

All the officers responded loudly, their voices echoing with disciplined resolve.

The amount of pride that fills the hearts of every resident of the mighty Nihari Galaxy-especially the proud and longstanding Burton family-is something beyond measurement, a feeling far too immense to be confined to simple words.

It is the pride of belonging to a galaxy that is entirely their own, a sanctuary forged through centuries of effort, a place meant for their children and the generations that will follow. It is the pride of possessing an empire with a military so formidable, so unwavering in its duty, that every soldier within it- whether a veteran commander or a young recruit taking his first steps-carries an unshakable desire to defend this colossal celestial entity even at the cost of his life. For them, protecting Nehari, keeping it secure and flourishing, is not just a duty; it is the future itself. It is the foundation, the purpose, the meaning of their existence.

Because of that sacred responsibility, an entire defensive ring of twenty full fleets was assigned to spread out in a massive circular perimeter with a radius of nearly one billion kilometers around Nihari-so far that seeing even the largest of its planets with the naked eye becomes utterly impossible.

And beyond the fleets themselves, specially-designed ships equipped with powerful arrays were deployed everywhere, creating intense interference capable of jamming any device attempting to scan or detect the galaxyʼs planetary system. Thus, a perfectly secure ”bubble” was formed around Nihari -so secure that not only were unauthorized ships forbidden from entering... even a wandering pebble-sized meteorite would not be allowed to pass through unchallenged. ”There they are-open a communication channel.”

The young general lifted his hand and pointed sharply toward a specific direction.

In the far distance, a bright orange vessel was gliding toward Nihari, moving in a straight trajectory. Its speed was moderate-not fast enough to appear threatening, yet not slow enough to seem casual.

A moment later, the communications officer raised his thick index finger and nodded toward the general, signaling that the line was open.

With firm authority, the general spoke: ”Greetings. This region is under full protection, and entry is not permitted for any military or civilian vessels. Please alter your course immediately and head west.” ”...”

The reply was absolute silence. The vessel continued advancing at the same steady pace. ”I know you can hear me,” the young general said, voice tightening with warning. ”Our communication systems are flawless and unmatched. Pretending you didnʼt receive the message will result in your ship being fired upon.”

Still nothing.

The young generalʼs brows drew together in a hard frown. Then he nodded once. ”Prepare the cannons. Ready for firing.”

Shsssshh- --

The cannons of the massive Destruction Note-4 ship, along with the ten escorting Flood-4 fighters surrounding it, began to glow with a deep, threatening blue light.

Shkshk-Finally, a voice crackled through the receiver. ”Hey- I suggest you move those little toys out of the way before itʼs too late.

Weʼre just going to take a look and then leave. No need for anyone to die today.”

Shkshk- ”Death will certainly come for you if you do not turn around and depart immediately,” the young general declared without hesitation. ”...I wasnʼt talking about our death.” Shkshk- ”Since thereʼs no way to enter this region undetected, weʼll enter by force.

Anyone who stands in our way today... will die.” ”...?!”

The young generalʼs frown deepened. Shkshk- ”Who exactly are you?”

He had spent half a century guarding this sacred perimeter, and never-not once had he encountered an intruder with such arrogance, such brazen confidence. ”Who are we?” Shkshk- ”We are THE Syndicate. Ask the Shadow Swords about us later.

But for now... step aside.”
