Lord of the Truth

Chapter 1815 Cheat

SHHHHH

Jabbaʼs eyes snapped wide open, his striking green irises glowing with an almost supernatural intensity, a light reflecting the sheer astonishment and focus coursing through him.

Even he, who had spent the majority of his existence in prolonged hibernation, now understood with unshakable certainty that almost all warships fired the same type of projectiles-pure energy shells meticulously drawn from specialized chambers embedded deep within the vessel...

Yet what he saw before him was unmistakably real: a blazing, molten-orange fireball and a swirling, opaque violet mist-ball, both rocketing toward the northern mountain range at a speed far beyond anything he had previously witnessed in his long life.

FROOOOM

The air surrounding the fireball instantly ignited, scorching and shimmering, and the very fabric of space seemed to warp and ripple visibly around it. On the opposite side, the violet mist moved with an eerie precision, causing the air to vanish completely upon contact, dissipating into nothingness as it advanced, as though reality itself was being undone along its path.

Then came the inevitable moment of truth-the moment of impact with the mountains.

WOOSH

”This...?”

Jabbaʼs brow furrowed deeply, his jaw tightening with disbelief and awe. Contrary to all expectations, there was no violent explosion. The fireball flowed over the mountain, melting it into liquid magma, and continued on its trajectory with relentless velocity, not a fraction of its speed lost, as though a searing, molten metal sphere were gliding over a fragile, snow-dusted surface. The violet mist behaved in an even stranger, almost incomprehensible manner. The mountains did not simply endure the strike-they began collapsing and disintegrating before the sphere even made contact. Rock, ice, and stone fell apart as if gravity itself had been manipulated, vanishing into the violet haze like grains of sand.

”YEESSS!!”

”Ha ha ha ha!”

”The test succeeded! It worked!!”

The thousands of workers below erupted into wild, jubilant cheers. Their voices echoed across the northern plains, ringing with pure relief and euphoria, celebrating that the grueling decade of labor, sweat, and sacrifice had not been in vain.

As for the mountains themselves? No one shed a tear. Plans from headquarters had already decreed that the entire northern region would be flattened anyway to expand war production facilities. If it were up to them, the factory workers would have instructed the shipʼs commander to fire several more projectiles to save themselves even more effort.

”....?!”

Jabba, however, remained completely focused, his piercing green eyes locked on the two spheres. They carved a path of destruction through everything in sight, obliterating the landscape with terrifying precision. Gradually, the immense energy trailing behind them began to wane. Each finally collided with the last standing mountain in its trajectory, exploding to form enormous craters.

The blazing fireball had annihilated seventeen mountains... while the violet mist obliterated nearly thirty, leaving nothing but rubble and dust in its wake.

”This... this...?!”

Jabba gestured toward the flattened mountains, his voice trembling slightly from astonishment, then turned to Zara, his eyes wide with disbelief and fascination. ”This?!”

”Feel free to ask from now until tomorrow,” Zara replied, shaking her head faintly. ”That was exactly my reaction when the designs were handed to me for the first time.”

The dark, heavy circles around her eyes, the faint tremor in her hands, and the subtle tension in her shoulders all spoke volumes of the endless ten years of exhaustive work she had endured to develop this vessel, the legendary Destruction Note-4.

”What exactly happened? How did you manage to create something like this?” Jabba asked urgently, leaning closer, his voice filled with both awe and confusion. Then his eyes narrowed as realization struck him.

”Support vessels like these... no, even the main mother ships cannot fire a projectile of this magnitude. Energy absorption arrays from Pearls cannot surpass a certain threshold-thereʼs a natural limit. How did the projectileʼs power leap to high-level World Cataclysm magnitude? And more than that... how did it acquire the distinct characteristics of fire and corrosion?!” ”How do you think?” Zara answered with a small, proud smile that hinted at both triumph and exhaustion.

”... You said the designs were handed to you? By the Master?!”

Jabbaʼs eyes widened suddenly, the intensity of his gaze almost searing.

”Yes,” Zara nodded calmly.

”We received word that the Fifth Cultivation Path had been completed at the exact same time as these designs arrived. To be honest... I was even more astonished by the designs, their complexity, and the level of precision they demanded. It was overwhelming.”

Zara let out a deep, controlled sigh, the kind that carries both fatigue and the weight of long years of relentless work. Then, with a firm strike of her boot- oom-the ground beneath them responded. Two elegant seats, seemingly grown from the rock and vegetation itself, rose in perfect synchrony. She lowered herself onto one with effortless grace and gestured for Jabba to sit on

the other.

”According to a brief introduction from my father that came with these designs,” she began, her voice calm yet carrying a hint of excitement, ”he said that he was sitting quietly, thinking deeply about the nature of space warfare. How soldiers trapped inside starships are completely ineffective until they touch the ground of a planet. And if the vessel is destroyed before landing, every single person aboard dies instantly, without even a chance to lift a weapon in defense.”

Her hand swept toward the massive Destruction Note-4, the colossal warship looming above like a fortress of steel.

”So he designed this monumental addition. He told me the inspiration came directly from the War Lords.”

”War Lords?”

Jabba furrowed his brow, sitting down with a low grunt. Of course he remembered them... War Lord Hovenheim had nearly ended his life once, a memory that still carried the taste of danger and the thrill of survival.

The concept that the Master developed later involved collecting energy directly from soldiers through a mobile, shielded array, granting a single commander control over all that combined force.

Over time, however, the War Lords had become largely symbolic. With countless combat Emperors now filling the army ranks, their original purpose had diminished. The city had failed to upgrade the array to push a War Lordʼs power to the threshold of a full-scale World Cataclysm.

”Mm,” Zara nodded slowly, eyes locked on the ship, her voice heavy with the weight of understanding. ”My father refused to let soldiers sit idle in ships, completely useless during battles prior to landing. So he implemented arrays to fully utilize their potential. The crucial difference is that this array does not merely siphon their pure energy-it captures the very laws they wield in battle, the essence of the law they built their foundations with.”

”...So the cannons still pull energy from the Pearls as before,” she explained further, ”but these additional conduits now channel supplementary energy directly from the soldiers inside. Immense, untapped power, ready to be unleashed the instant itʼs needed. This solves the previous

maximum-absorption limitation of the Pearls.

And because the energy includes the soldiersʼ laws, the result is exactly what

you see: a projectile far larger, far deadlier, far more destructive than anything previously possible.”

”In this experiment, we placed one thousand Martial Emperors from the Barnett family into the left-cannon array and another thousand from the Dorghrian race into the right. That is why you witnessed this overwhelming output,” she said, her expression a mix of pride and exhaustion.

She offered a small, enigmatic smile.

”... And yet, each array is actually engineered to endure the presence of ten

thousand martial Emperors.”

”..?!”

Jabbaʼs green eyes widened to their fullest, reflecting disbelief, amazement, and

a faint trace of fear. He turned back toward the Destruction Nota-4, absorbing the scale and magnitude of the ship and its terrifying potential.

”Doesnʼt this mean that at full capacity, this could strike an expert at the peak of a World Cataclysm? This is not power that should belong solely to a single ship, not even a warship of this supportive class!”

”Well, itʼs neither cheap nor simple to construct,” Zara said, a slight tremor of exhaustion entering her voice. The months spent perfecting the fourth Generation of the Destruction Note had taken their toll, leaving her both physically and mentally drained.

”Fortunately... we have the Crucible of Greed.”

”...!!”

Jabbaʼs entire body stiffened as the realization hit him in waves.

Indeed...

The problem of constructing the ship would vanish once the first model

existed. From that point onward, additional ships could be cloned and produced automatically within the Furnaces of Greed, reducing what once took

decades of labor to mere moments.

This... this was sheer cheating.
