Lord of the Truth

Chapter 1819 The Sacred Covenant

Somewhere in the Intermediate Sector 99-

Silence.

In this isolated region, deep within the vast, star-streaked void where concepts like ground and sky lose all meaning, and where sound itself seems foreign, the natural state of existence is stillness-a stillness so profound it feels sacred. Yet today, the silence was so dense and overwhelming that it almost echoed, as if even the void was holding its breath.

At this moment, tens of thousands of vessels were arranged in loose, grand formations around a single planet-ships of every size, every shape, every design imaginable, painted in hues ranging from royal metallic tones to weathered civilian colors.

No two ships looked alike. Some proudly displayed the banners and insignias of mighty powers, their hulls reinforced and bristling with weapons; others bore the muted markings of rented crafts used by those of modest means. And despite this chaotic mixture-this crowding of the wealthy and the poor, of giants and minnows-not a single major force objected to the presence of the lesser vessels beside them. Conversely, the smaller ships did not flee from the massive war machines armed with planet-cracking cannons. All gazes, every sensor, every screen, every soul was fixed upon one thing alone: that

mysterious planet, the world they had all been waiting-aching-to enter for an entire decade.

Ten years earlier, Professor Morgana had delivered a legendary, unforgettable lecture at the Star Dawn Light Academy. After that, she restored the private subscriptions for her personal students and then announced news that struck them harder than any cosmic disaster-news sad, heavy, yet somewhat expected: she would no longer be teaching at the academy.

Tears streamed without end. Students who had idolized her broke down-until she revealed a second announcement, strange and shocking in its own way... Professor Morgana was planning to establish an academy of her own, a new institution under her direct leadership-and Professor Shaddad would accompany her there!

Naturally, this news was met with faint, bittersweet smiles. The students understood. She was trying to ease their pain, trying to soften the blow of her departure.

Because no one joined the Star Dawn Light Academy merely for its instructors -no matter how exceptional they were. They came for the academyʼs towering prestige, for its unparalleled protection that allowed them to leave their children in safety, for its sheer size as an academy spanning an entire planet. They came because they never had to worry about great empires waging war upon it. They came for the ancient library, a treasure built across tens of millions of years. For the array networks that enriched energy density and made absorption easier and safer.

For countless privileges that a sudden academy founded by a mere assistant professor-even one as talented as Morgana-could never hope to provide.

Everyone knew they were likely witnessing their final moments with her. So they cried... and they said their farewells.

But then... the rumors began to spill.

Teacher Morgana had acquired an entire planet-yes, a whole world-and had chosen it as her new headquarters.

And apparently, this planet was bursting with life-lush vegetation, exotic animals-yet completely devoid of humans or human-like species, and astonishingly free of colossal predatory beasts. As if some unseen force had erased every threat and left behind a breathtaking paradise. It was brilliantly illuminated, warmed by its star, and surrounded by seven mesmerizing moons that drew admiration from all who saw them.

The planet was filled with extraordinary regions: shimmering ice domes rising like crystal palaces, lakes of molten magma glowing like rivers of fire, streams of radiant light snaking across valleys. Rumors went even further-several fundamental and essential paths were said to be unusually concentrated across specific zones of the planet. Another rumor claimed the world was overflowing with soul emeralds, so abundant that anyone who simply walked for long enough might stumble upon emeralds lying beneath the soil!

Such qualities made the planet the perfect neutral territory-a heaven in the void. Especially because this planet, which had appeared seemingly out of nowhere, did not seem to be contested by any great power... for reasons. nobody understood.

The appearance of these reports sent waves of confusion and suspicion through the surrounding powers. How could such a rich, beautiful, resource-laden world have gone unnoticed by them? Instantly, they dispatched investigative teams-followed by war fleets-to survey, analyze, and ultimately claim the planet by force. Each power sent several heavily armed ships, testing the situation with utmost caution.

But what awaited them was far beyond anything they had planned for-beyond even their worst expectations. Before their ships had fully approached the atmosphere, the scene that unfolded in front of them was the very nightmare that had recently shaken every war fleet in the surrounding regions. A fully-armed Note fleet hovered above the planet in a perfectly symmetrical defensive formation, its layered energy shields shimmering like cold, floating walls in the void.

The Double Centennial Grave Empire had officially announced, through every diplomatic channel and military beacon, that it was investing in, protecting, and fully supporting Teacher Morgana in building her academy. Not only support- they had dispatched an entire defensive fleet to remain stationed there!

That single fleet, with its imposing presence and reputation carved by centuries of brutal wars, was enough to terrify all the minor powers. As for the major powers scattered across that starfield, their attention remained locked on the unfolding events-not out of concern for the planet itself, but because every matter connected to the Double Centennial Grave Empire had recently become a source of tension, fear, and unpredictable consequences. During the next few months, an immense wave of workers poured onto the planet. They came in waves-thousands at a time-carrying tools, machinery, and crates of materials. Construction of buildings began instantly, and foundations spread across empty plains like veins of a creature awakening for the first time. Side by side with them arrived inscription artists and soul masters who started preparing dozens upon dozens of arrays, carving complex patterns into stones, metals, and even the air itself.

By the end of the first five years-even before the dust had settled-tens of thousands of workers had already left their mark. Advanced aerial defenses stood proudly over the academy grounds, humming with silent power. Multiple layers of protection arrays had been set, and ready-made arrays had even been purchased from Behemoth Galaxies for prices reaching hundreds of millions of Pearls. These arrays were famous artifacts-legendary defensive systems recognizable by experts from the first glance. Their mere presence filled everyone inside their range with a deep, unshakable sense of absolute safety.

Only after these preparations were complete did the Note fleet finally withdraw. And on that day, Academy Mistress Morgana herself appeared, radiating elegance and confidence, warmly inviting the surrounding powers to tour the planet-to see what had been built with their own eyes. Her smile carried the assurance of someone who knew she had created something that would reshape futures.

Driven not just by curiosity, but by the peculiar awe that had been spreading through rumors, all the neighboring powers sent representatives. Many of Morganaʼs former students also arrived, eager to witness the dream she had turned into stone and sky. Marshal Aro came, along with several wing leaders. The most prominent among them was Ranther, a man whose military wing alone possessed strength comparable to entire millennial empires...

That day was remembered as the day the academyʼs legend was born. From that moment on, no one who visited the academy ever stopped praising what they had seen its ambition, its craftsmanship, its overwhelming promise. Within only five years, defensive systems, energy arrays, residential districts, academic towers, training fields, and countless other structures had already been raised. There was still an enormous amount of work underway, yet luxury, precision, and generosity could be sensed in every polished stone and every meticulously-drawn rune.

Unlike other academies-whether humble or grand-Morgana had received massive funding from the very start. She wasnʼt merely building an academy; a colossal entity was designing and constructing everything with the clear intent of rivaling the greatest institutions in the known starfield. What rose from the ground was already on par with monumental academies such as the Dawn Light Stellar Academy... No-at the relentless pace they were moving, with tens of thousands of workers, with the rune masters laboring tirelessly every single day, this academy was destined not just to match them, but to surpass them

entirely!

All of that concerned the buildings and the defenses-but what about the heart of all academies: the library?

During the tour, Morgana unveiled the colossal library she had prepared. It was so immense it resembled a small, fortified city located at the very core of the

academy.

Inside it were stored the legacies of the First and Second Heaven Chosen, partial research notes belonging to Robin himself, fragments of Sky Opening Cityʼs scientific endeavors, and a vast sea of books and handwritten manuscripts purchased with the resources of the Shadow Swords. And as if this treasure trove wasnʼt enough, Morgana demonstrated a peculiar light-based technique-one that projected the patterns of various laws openly before everyoneʼs eyes, allowing even ordinary visitors to witness the world of laws as if they themselves were Truth Chosen.
