Chapter 253 Signal

Chapter 253 Signal
Of course, it is impossible for infected people to drive human vehicles, so even though they are still far away from the location marked on the map, Zhang Cheng dare not summon the amphibious phantom from his backpack.

This is already the territory of the infected camp. The territory is not a resource map. The resource map is where the survivor federation and the infected camp compete with each other.

Resource maps such as those already occupied by the Federation are already within the territory of the Federation.

And within the territory of the infected forces, naturally there would be no traces of survivors here.

Along the way, Zhang Cheng passed by countless infected creatures. Fortunately, none of these infected creatures had much intelligence, so Zhang Cheng didn’t need to bother to pretend, he just passed them.

The camouflage of the infected person’s camouflage is very perfect. It not only allows the user to obtain the shape of the infected person, but even the unique smell of the infected creature can be simulated. If necessary, Zhang Cheng can also pass through the camouflage device. Feature emits roars similar to those of other infected.

The smell of infected people was not pleasant to Zhang Cheng, but Zhang Cheng had already experienced using an infected biological camouflage device once, so he just frowned and endured it.

These infected creatures have no intelligence, and only use their predatory instincts to judge whether the target next to them is their own attack target.

The smell on Zhang Cheng’s body has completely concealed his identity, so in front of these ordinary infected people, Zhang Cheng can quickly walk through the wild without being cautious.

There are only six hours in total for the two disguises. Zhang Cheng needs to complete the task of detecting the enemy’s situation within this time period, and also ensure that he has a chance to leave within six hours.

After running all the way for nearly three hours, Zhang Cheng finally arrived at the target area. Judging from the intelligence information collected by the Federation over the years, Bertram’s infection lair should be within the range of this area.

Zhang Cheng has been paying attention to his camouflage time. He doesn’t want to see himself suddenly exposed to many infected creatures because the camouflage time is over.

When the three-hour time limit was about to end, Zhang Cheng decisively opened the second camouflage opportunity, which was also the last camouflage opportunity for the infected biological camouflage device.

After using this camouflage opportunity, the infected biological camouflage device in Zhang Cheng’s backpack disappeared.

This kind of prop cannot even be made by the current Federation. This kind of infected biological camouflage device is still a prop left over from a long time ago. It is a pity that its production method has been lost. Otherwise, this kind of camouflage device will bring harm to the survivors and the Federation. Comes very convenient.

This may be the only infected biological camouflage in the entire area, but unfortunately even this camouflage has been consumed now.

Zhang Cheng didn’t dare to waste any time. He only had the last three hours left. If he couldn’t find the main infection nest within these three hours, he could only declare that the operation had failed.

And once he conveys the message of mission failure to the federation, it may have some negative impact on whether the federation wants to start a war this time.

This is not what Zhang Cheng wants to see, so he urgently hopes to find the location of the infected nest as soon as possible.

Zhang Cheng began a blanket search for the area under his feet. Unfortunately, he was now an ’infected person’, so props such as drones and vehicles were unavailable.

Whether he can find the infected’s nest depends on Zhang Cheng’s ability and luck.

Zhang Cheng secretly knocked down the potion to speed up movement, plus the forty agile genetic potions he had injected before, and the attribute of speeding up movement that was born after the bloodthirsty necklace was advanced,
Now Zhang Cheng’s running speed is ridiculously fast.

In this non-combat movement situation, his movement speed is at least two or three times that of ordinary players, and it seems to be almost the same as some ordinary vehicles.

However, running at full strength for such a long time is also an important issue in terms of physical exertion.

Fortunately, Zhang Cheng had prepared enough compressed rations before going out. When he was hungry, he only needed to find a place with no infected creatures around and quietly eat a piece of compressed biscuit.

The compressed biscuits prepared for him by the Federal Operations Department were very satisfying, and they also had some bonuses to other combat attributes.

In this way, Zhang Chengcheng took advantage of all his available advantages and carefully searched the area drawn on his map.

Judging from Zhang Cheng’s current speed, he only needs two hours at most to search this area completely.

That is to say, Zhang Cheng still has at least one hour left to sneak into the lair of the infected to check the situation of Bertram and other intelligent-level infected creatures.

Every intelligent-level infected creature is a boss-level existence, and their intelligence is also very important.

In war, every intelligent-level infected creature is an existence that the Federation needs to calculate and respond to in a timely manner.

After nearly an hour and a half, Zhang Cheng stopped at the edge of a bottomless underground crack.

Zhang Cheng swallowed with some fear. He had just run a little faster, and his eyes had been scanning the surroundings, fearing that he would miss some key clues.

So much so that when Zhang Cheng ran to the front of this underground crack, he almost fell down without paying attention.

Zhang Cheng looked down, but he didn’t know how deep the crack was. If he really fell like this, maybe Bertram didn’t need to take action, and he himself would explain here first.

Zhang Cheng looked away from the cracks. He didn’t have time to worry about the cracks now. Finding or eliminating the nests of infected people as soon as possible was the most important problem he needed to solve.

Just when Zhang Cheng took one leg and was about to leave, his eyes suddenly froze.

”That is……”

Zhang Cheng looked like he was wearing a pair of tactical glasses in a sci-fi movie, and an electronic picture appeared in his field of vision.

【Electronic sensor detects signal】

Zhang Cheng only stayed here for a few seconds, but he directly received the signal from the electronic sensor.

You must know that the electronic sensor developed by Old Buck for himself needs to be scanned in his hand at all times, which is why Zhang Cheng spent so much time and energy when he used the electronic sensor to find accessories.

However, Zhang Cheng did not take the electronic sensor into his hands because of the mission, in order to save time,
In other words, Zhang Cheng didn’t search manually at all, and the electronic sensor actually received the signal automatically.
