Chapter 251 Meeting Room

Chapter 251 Meeting Room

”I disagree with Captain Lee.”

Someone immediately stood up and retorted after hearing the officer’s words, saying: ”We have already discussed that the power of the infection force has been growing rapidly over the years, and the growth rate is getting faster and faster.”

”If we don’t take advantage of this excellent opportunity to deal a heavy blow to the infected camp, then we will suffer even greater losses in the future!”

”After all, nightshade toxin is a trick we have prepared for many years. If we want to brew such a trick again, we don’t know how many years later it will be. At that time, we may not be able to hold on to the federation.”

In this meeting room of the command headquarters, all the officers sitting there are quite senior or very capable military officers, but when faced with this major event that concerns the life and death of the entire Federation, it is still inevitable for the officers to There was a violent quarrel.

The quarrel in the conference room was mainly divided into three factions. One faction advocated starting a war, and the other faction advocated guarding the territory and not attacking rashly.

The last faction is the neutral conservatives, who suggest sending more special forces to collect more intelligence and wait for opportunities.

Of course, Zhang Cheng’s thoughts belonged to the first faction, the main combat faction. No one knew how powerful he was now.

One officer expressed his opinion in the conference room, but that military legend, Alex, sat in his seat all the time and never said a word.

Facing the increasingly heated debate on the conference table, Alex finally spoke: ”Lieutenant Winner and Loser, what do you think?”

Zhang Chenglai was listening carefully to the opinions of other federal sergeants. At this time, Alex called his name suddenly. After preparing his words, he said:
”When Bertlem launched an invasion war last time, I was the only soldier who survived Bertlam’s sneak attack.”

Zhang Cheng’s voice sounded powerful at the moment: ”I almost died under Bertram’s attack. Am I afraid of Bertram? Of course I’m also afraid of such a powerful enemy.”

”But why do I still feel that we should take the initiative to launch a war against the infected forces? Because only by fighting and seizing every opportunity can we completely expel the infected forces from the survivors’ homes.”

”It is not advisable to take a fluke attitude in your heart. The war will start one day. If you keep thinking about preparing for the future, then there will always be endless preparations.”

”The time is now ripe. The nightshade toxin accumulated over the years, and the leader of the infection, Bertram, who has not shown up for many years, just happened to be severely injured by the nightshade toxin...”

”If we don’t even dare to seize such a good opportunity and try to fight hard, then our situation will only become more and more difficult in the future!”

”In order to deal with this war, I am willing to take the lead and enter the territory of the infected forces in advance as a vanguard to conduct the first step of reconnaissance of the enemy’s situation.”

”If there is any dangerous situation, I will report it to the Federal Intelligence Center immediately...”

While Zhang Cheng was talking, he noticed that Justin sitting in front moved his lips, as if he wanted to interrupt Zhang Cheng immediately.

Zhang Cheng just gave Justin a steady look, and continued: ”I still have an infected biological camouflage device in my hand. Using this infected biological camouflage device can ensure the safety of my actions to a large extent, so I I feel that I should be the most qualified to complete this task!”

Even if the war is about to start, it can’t be reckless, and it is very necessary to collect enough intelligence information.

Zhang Cheng decided to take the initiative to ask for orders to complete this task, because he felt that he had the strength and capital to complete this task.

On the other hand, he also proceeded from the facts and encouraged the Federal Department of War to carry out the next step of strategic planning.

Even Zhang Cheng, a newly promoted lieutenant, can go straight into the hinterland of the region without hesitating his life and fear of danger, so what reason do these soldiers have to shirk?

From the moment Zhang Cheng entered the infected force, the Federal War Department will unite with various departments of the Federation to actively complete pre-war preparations and fully mobilize soldiers.

After Zhang Cheng expressed his views, the atmosphere in the meeting room has changed a bit.

There has never been a shortage of passionate soldiers in the army. Although they must be calm when making decisions, Zhang Cheng’s suggestions are also very feasible.

For the youngest lieutenant in history, his strength is obvious to all.

How many impossible tasks did Zhang Cheng complete along the way, which gave him the qualifications to be promoted to lieutenant so quickly.

The military officers in the conference room gradually began to unify their views, and agreed to let Zhang Cheng check the enemy’s information first, as Zhang Cheng said, and at the same time actively improve the material and weapon preparations in the federal rear.

Of course Zhang Cheng was very happy to see this scene, but some pressure would also arise in his heart.

After all, this time they were going to sneak into Bertram’s lair, which was the most dangerous place in the entire infection camp.

Although Zhang Cheng still has two opportunities to use the infected biological camouflage device, the risk level of this mission is not the same as the last time in the Wushan Mine.

There must still be a lot of high-level intelligent infected creatures in Bertlem’s old lair. Even if Bertlem is still recovering from his injuries, those subordinates can cause Zhang Cheng great trouble.

After the meeting, Zhang Cheng embarked on a long journey alone without saying goodbye to too many people.

The other officers didn’t even know that Zhang Cheng went directly to the front line and the territory of the infected forces as soon as he left the federal headquarters.

The only people who knew about this were Mayor Justin and Alex.

Justin was still a little worried about Zhang Cheng, but Alex was very open-minded, as if he was full of confidence in Zhang Cheng all the time.

Zhang Cheng told Justin that he still had a hole card, and that he would try his best to act carefully, and he didn’t know if he could really make Justin feel at ease.

Zhang Cheng left. He first took a federal helicopter to Yuanxing High School. He planned to sneak into the infection camp from the map of Yuanxing High School.

The map of Yuanxing University is very special. It is neither the resource map of the Federation nor the sphere of influence of the infected camp.

This is equivalent to a two-way zone, and there will be no intelligent-level infected creatures here, and the infected people here will automatically refresh over time.

And the infected camp will generally not enter the Yuanxing University, because there is nothing to attract them here, and ordinary infected people cannot enter this map.
