Chapter 201 The Battle Begins
”Let him stay, he’s a warrior.”

Alex has been on the battlefield for a long time, and there are rumors that Alex can even see whether there is a murderous look on a soldier, which shows how vicious his vision is.

Alex agreed in person, so naturally no one asked about Zhang Cheng’s future.

”Hiss... roar!”

The fortifications formed a battle line one after another, and beyond the battle line was the hiding place for the army of the infected camp.

Intensive roars came from outside the front line, and the roars became more and more clear to the ears, making Zhang Cheng and other soldiers more alert.

Zhang Cheng had already taken the Barrett sniper rifle in his hand, and he climbed onto the nearest fortification in front of him.

This is a defensive twin tower, which is connected with a defensive tower next to it to form a twin system.

These two twin towers are fortifications built by Zhang Cheng himself, so he knows the structure of the twin towers well.

Zhang Cheng went straight up the stairs and came to the highest point of the defense tower in an instant. There was a sentry point here, which not only had an excellent view of the battlefield, but also had sufficient and strong bunkers, suitable for snipers to choose as a sniper position.

After Zhang Cheng climbed to the top of the Twin Towers, he watched the black clouds stir outside the battle line.

The indistinct silhouette behind the black cloud made Zhang Cheng feel a little heavy in his heart. The black cloud seemed to be gradually dissipating, and the figure behind the black cloud gradually became visible.

Some federal soldiers tried to shoot behind the black cloud, but the defense of the black cloud seemed to have some kind of unique power. When it was attacked, it formed a defensive shield on the outer layer, blocking all the bullets .

Fortunately, this stage did not last long, and the infected creatures behind the black cloud began to step out of the black cloud area step by step.

Although the black cloud has become thinner, it is still difficult to see through the cover of the black cloud with the naked eye. Only those infected creatures that actively walk out of the black cloud can be selected as targets by the federal soldiers.

Zhang Cheng reacted the fastest. His scope was locked on the black cloud in front of him. When an infected creature stepped out of the black cloud, he steadily pulled the trigger.

The power of the Barrett sniper rifle was extraordinary. After a startling sound, the bullet accurately hit the head of an infected person, causing a blood-red damage value.
-
5800!

With Barrett’s sniper rifle in hand, Zhang Cheng’s attack power has already broken through the 110 mark, reaching around [-].

After the bloodthirsty necklace has been advanced through the blood heart, it has obtained an extremely powerful attribute: attack power increased by [-]%.

This also made Zhang Cheng’s attack power on the attribute panel reach the early [-]s after holding the Barrett sniper rifle.

The weapon firepower of Barrett’s sniper rifle is 200, multiplied by more than [-] attack power, the damage on paper has already exceeded [-]!
In addition, Zhang Cheng’s current crit damage is a full 230%, and 100% of the crit damage will be triggered after hitting the head, which makes Zhang Cheng’s shot so powerful that it is scary.

In addition, after triggering the probabilistic skill-enhanced ammunition, it causes double damage, and there are other buff effects, such as the skill ”Hundred-step piercing Yang”, because the enemy is far away from Zhang Cheng, he can also enjoy the damage increase of a hundred-step piercing .

The first shot caused more than [-] damage. Although the armor value of the infected person was not bad, it was killed directly without any accident.

Zhang Cheng’s first shot boosted the morale of the entire federal army.

The army respects strength and respects the strong. The extreme damage of Barrett’s sniper rifle is a good medicine for soldiers to be full of confidence.

Zhang Cheng’s gunshots marked the beginning of the battle. Since Zhang Cheng fired one shot, there have been continuous gunshots on the battlefield.

All kinds of infected creatures rushed forward from the black cloud, including zombie-like infected people, infected beasts, and even a small number of plant-type infected bodies.

With such a long distance, Zhang Cheng had no way to take out the howitzer to bombard the tide of zombies, so he could only use the Barrett sniper rifle to make point kills.

Fortunately, the Barrett sniper rifle is powerful enough, and sometimes it can even penetrate the target and cause damage to the enemies behind the target.

Zhang Cheng’s precise marksmanship played a very crucial role at this moment. Basically, every shot of Zhang Cheng could hit the weak point of the infected creature, causing a huge amount of critical damage.

Infected creatures fell in front of Zhang Cheng’s sniper rifle one by one. Except for a few infected creatures that were stronger or more defensive, Zhang Cheng could basically kill an infected creature with one shot.

Zhang Cheng’s complexion still didn’t show any relief, but his brows frowned even tighter.

The strength of these infected creatures is still beyond his imagination.

This is just the first batch of infected creatures to come out of the black cloud. Generally, the infected camp will choose to send some advance troops to test the firepower of the federal army.

It sounds nice to be called the vanguard, but in fact they came out to serve as cannon fodder.

As cannon fodder, most of them are the most common infected creatures, and most of these ordinary cannon fodder-level infected people have exceeded level [-].

You know, there are only a handful of players with combat levels above level [-] now, but in this war, they can only be treated as cannon fodder and sent to death.

This kind of plot is obviously not a normal development, and a normal development of the plot should not create such a high degree of difficulty.

But now is not the time to get entangled in this matter, Zhang Cheng quickly reloaded Barrett’s sniper rifle, and behind him was an ammunition box with plenty of ammunition.

There are constant logistics soldiers in the federal army, shuttling between various positions on the front line and among the various fortifications, just to deliver enough supplies to the soldiers.

Bullets, grenades, medicines and more.

What Zhang Cheng needs most right now is bullets. After all, the Barrett sniper rifle is a large-caliber sniper rifle, and the consumption of ammunition is very scary.

Compared with the M24 used by Zhang Cheng before, the ammunition consumption of the Barrett sniper rifle has increased by at least four or five times!
Fortunately, the Federation was fully prepared this time, and at least there was no problem with the supply of ammunition, which also allowed Zhang Cheng to output efficiently without any worries.

Zhang Cheng was killing zombies one after another. However, there were still countless infected creatures in the black clouds that were constantly approaching the federal front line.
Under the command of the intelligent-level infected in the rear, these infected creatures appeared to be very planned, and they aimed to attack the federal fortifications.

Moreover, their fearlessness in death also made the federal soldiers feel a little depressed and urgent.

Before the infected creature was born with a command, it was like a machine, and it would execute the orders it received without hesitation.
