Chapter 198

Chapter 198
A harmonious and safe job with stable and generous income, this is a good job that many players can’t even dream of in end-apocalyptic games.

However, Zhang Cheng is relatively open-minded about the top architect qualification certificate. With his current ability, there are many ways to earn alliance points. There is no need to work for others to earn a salary.

However, for initial players who do not have much capital, it is still very good to quickly accumulate the first pot of gold through this job.

When Zhang Cheng showed his architect qualification certificate to the federal soldier, a look of surprise was evident on the federal soldier’s face.

Maybe he was wondering why Zhang Cheng had obtained the qualification certificate of a top architect at such a young age.

You know, the youngest top architect in the federation is definitely over 30 years old.

After all, there is too much knowledge to learn in architecture, and learning alone is not enough. It also requires architects to spend a lot of time practicing and completing the construction of buildings by themselves to accumulate architectural experience.

The promotion speed of this architect level is really too slow.

However, the guy in front of him, who looked younger than himself, actually casually took out the qualification certificate of a top architect?
The federal soldier wiped his eyes and looked carefully at the words written on the qualification certificate. It was indeed the words ”Top Architect”.

Looking at the photo on the qualification certificate and comparing Zhang Cheng’s face, the federal soldier swallowed lightly, believing that Zhang Cheng is really a top architect.

”I’m sorry, I really didn’t expect you to pass the examination of a top architect at such a young age... There is also an architect in our family, but he has been immersed in architecture for more than 20 years, and he is only a senior architect now , that’s why I was so surprised...”

The soldier looked apologetic, and Zhang Cheng just smiled faintly after hearing his words: ”I just got this certificate just now.”

”No matter what, you are already very powerful!” The federal soldier stepped aside and said to Zhang Cheng: ”The architects can use these building materials at will, and if any building materials are not enough, they can give feedback immediately Give us.”

”Understood, thank you for your hard work.” After Zhang Cheng finished speaking, he walked forward to choose the building materials he might use.

In any case, the construction of fortifications must be inseparable from good building materials.

Fortunately, the quality of the batch of building materials shipped by the Federation was very good, and Zhang Cheng was confident that he could build an excellent fortification with these building materials.

All the famous architects took out their architect qualification certificates, then entered the defense line, began to survey the terrain, and draw construction diagrams.

Zhang Cheng quickly selected a suitable terrain. He now has a large number of fortification formulas in his mind, which can be of great use here.

Lifting his hand, a pile of construction materials flew out of the backpack, and Zhang Cheng began to build the first fortification he was in charge of.

[Currently completed fortifications: 1/100]

[Currently completed defense office building total score: 201/10000]

Soon, Zhang Chengcheng completed the construction of the first fortification. At this time, the task information in Zhang Cheng’s task panel also changed accordingly.

Zhang Cheng’s first fortification took a total of one hour and 13 minutes to build, and the total construction score reached [-] points.

The fortifications are no better than Zhang Cheng’s manor house. The foundation of the manor house is very wide, and Zhang Chengyi built the house with the eighth floor.

On the other hand, fortifications are not complicated at all for the sake of deliberate complexity, but every piece of building material is placed only to improve defensive performance.

This also makes the construction of fortifications very streamlined and fast, so it is normal that the total score of the building is not high.

After the first fortification was completed, Zhang Cheng immediately continued to move down the defense line, looking for terrain to build suitable fortifications.

……

After three days passed, the front line of the battlefield had completely changed.

The sky, which was originally covered with dark clouds, is now even more pitch-black. For this reason, the Federation had to light up the lamps to build fortifications.

Thunder and lightning flashed thousands of miles above the sky, and what made the architects below cry secretly was that raindrops fell from the sky in a short while.

There seemed to be something terrifying brewing in the dark clouds in the distance. When Zhang Cheng arrived at the battlefield, he already felt that there seemed to be a big crisis hidden in the dark clouds.

After these three days passed, the uneasy feeling in Zhang Cheng’s heart became clearer and clearer.

”Damn it, it’s raining again at this time, and it’s still so heavy.”

Zhang Cheng is desperately rushing to build fortifications, and the war may break out at any time. He feels that the last fuse is only needed to ignite the war.

His mission goal is to complete the construction of one hundred fortifications before the war begins, and what Zhang Cheng is currently building is one of his fortifications.

In fact, Zhang Cheng’s total building score has already exceeded the [-] points required by the mission goal. Zhang Cheng could just build a fortification at will and finish the job, but Zhang Cheng did not choose to do so.

As time went by little by little, Zhang Cheng felt more and more that this war might be more difficult.

Every fortification may reduce the casualties of many federal soldiers in the war. For this reason, Zhang Cheng strives that every fortification he builds can play its due role after the flames of war are ignited.

If many federal soldiers who fought bloody battles died for no reason because of the fortifications he built, then Zhang Cheng would never be able to forgive himself.

”Hey, isn’t this the famous Cheng Architect? He has been promoted to the top architect in one step for the first time. I’m afraid he will be directly written down in the chronicles of survivors. It’s a pity, it’s a pity that you were born at the wrong time and happened to meet you. If such a war breaks out, if you can’t show the corresponding skills in such a war, I’m afraid you will be infamy in the history books for thousands of years!”

A voice that sounded malicious and made people feel very uncomfortable rang in Zhang Cheng’s ears, and Zhang Cheng could know who it was without turning his head.

It was the white-bearded old architect who kept looking for opportunities to tease and ridicule Zhang Cheng because he was jealous and jealous.

Zhang Cheng was too lazy to pay attention to him. He was concentrating on the construction of the fortification in front of him. This was the last fortification in the mission target, but Zhang Cheng would not relax his vigilance because of this.

As the last pieces of building materials were assembled into the fortifications, a steel fortress was finally completed.

[The progress of the task has been updated. It is detected that the number of fortifications that the player has built has reached the standard, and the total score of the building has reached the standard. 】

[The task is completed, and the task reward is being released. 】
