Chapter 197 Mission detected
”Mr. Cheng, you are here too...”

Zhang Cheng was browsing the construction formula in his mind, looking for construction works suitable for the terrain in front of him.

At this time, a voice suddenly interrupted Zhang Cheng’s thinking.

It was an architect who had arrived before. After Zhang Cheng smiled and exchanged pleasantries with him, the other party mentioned Angmar’s plan.

This time the infected camp is coming with force. Once the infected creatures choose to invade federal territory, they will definitely be extremely powerful.

Therefore, the defense line of the Federation also needs to be set up very long, otherwise it will be easy for the infected creatures to take advantage of the loopholes, and then the construction of fortifications will lose its meaning.

After the first batch of architects were escorted to the battlefield by Federation helicopters, Angmar had already begun to survey the terrain around the battlefield.

After discussions among the architects, with Angmar as the leader, the construction plan for the fortifications was soon finalized.

In order to save time, Angmar has already led the first batch of architects to build the first part of the fortifications,

The workload of the fortifications on the entire front must not be small, and all the architects now know how heavy the mission they are shouldering.

”So, Mr. Angmar is going to hand over this part of the construction plan to us?”

Looking at the manuscript handed over by the architect in front of him, Zhang Cheng understood Angmar’s plan.

”Yes, Mr. Angmar said that the remaining part of the line of defense will be relatively less difficult to construct, and the high probability of being hit by the infected forces will be less powerful, so this part of the construction plan may not be the first one. Part of it is so important.”

Zhang Cheng nodded to express his understanding. Most of the top architects in the Federation have been included in the first batch of architects. After comparing the two parts of the plan, it is obvious that the first part The task volume and task difficulty are much greater.

Of course, Angmar must first complete the construction of the most difficult and most important section of the defense line, so the remaining part of the fortifications can only be handed over to the remaining architects to complete.

”We know, leave the rest of the line of defense to us.”

[It is detected that the player is performing a special task - building fortifications, do you want to read the task information? 】

Zhang Cheng frowned. He didn’t expect that this construction operation had been recognized as a task by the system, so he immediately chose to read the task information.

[The task information has been read, please click here to read the task information. 】

[Task name: Build fortifications. 】

[Mission objective: Use federal building materials to complete a certain number of fortifications before the outbreak of war.Number of fortifications: 0/100; total score of fortifications: 0/10000]

Zhang Cheng quickly browsed through all the relevant information of the entire task, and immediately became more clear about what he should want.

To put it simply, this task is to stipulate how many fortifications Zhang Cheng needs to complete and build, and the total construction score of all fortifications must exceed [-] points. This also made it impossible for Zhang Cheng to build some fortifications casually to make up for it.

Of course, Zhang Cheng wouldn’t do this even if there were no hard requirements for the task.

Without further ado, Zhang Cheng immediately followed the manuscript drawn by Angma and went to the fortification construction site to prepare to start building the fortifications.

Rows of federal trucks ahead are continuously coming, unloading, and then driving away to carry more cargo.

——These trucks are all carrying various construction materials.

This time, the Federation really went all out, and when it came to the critical point of life and death, it no longer had to consider the issue of resource consumption.

If the federation can’t withstand the offensive of the infected camp, then no amount of resources will be useless.

Fortunately, the collection team of the Federation has been mining resources non-stop these days, which also allows the Federation to have a very rich material reserve, so it can quickly mobilize so many building materials in a short period of time.

The benefits of occupying the resource map can be seen. It can be said that by occupying the resource map, the Federation is equivalent to continuously enriching its own heritage.
The longer the Federation accumulates its foundation, the greater the chances of the survivors winning before the final battle arrives.

A large amount of construction materials were transported to the front line of the battlefield, and teams of federal soldiers were responsible for guarding these construction materials.

Zhang Cheng stepped forward to show his architect qualification certificate, which of course was the qualification that Angma helped Zhang Cheng prepare. To be precise, it was the qualification certificate that Angma asked Zhang Cheng to apply for.

The architects in the federation formed a group called the Architects Association. The reason for forming this association is also to facilitate mutual exchanges and learning among architects.

And the architects of the Federation cannot get around the hurdle of the Architects Association, because in the Federation, only architects with architect qualification certificates can be recognized by everyone.

The qualification certificate of architects can only be issued exclusively by the Institute of Architects.

The architect qualification certificates issued by the Architects Association are divided into several levels, junior architects, intermediate architects, senior architects, top architects and architectural masters.

After reaching the master architect, they are all hall-level architects with exclusive honorary titles, just like Angmar is a master architect with honorary titles.

His honorary title is ’Hope Rebuilder’, and the origin of this title is also directly related to Angmar’s proud work Hope Building.

Originally, according to the process, no matter which architect, after joining the Architects Association, he would start as a junior architect, and then pass the exams to gradually improve the architectural level.

If the architect’s architectural ability is indeed excellent, then he can also apply for a cross-level examination.

The Institute of Architects is also a very free organization. It does not restrict the freedom of actions of its members. At most, it only advocates that architects learn from each other or help each other to complete the construction of certain buildings together.

Zhang Cheng didn’t have an architect qualification certificate at that time, it’s not that he couldn’t pass the architect qualification certificate, it’s just that he didn’t think of it for a while.

Later, after Angma learned that Zhang Cheng did not have an architect qualification certificate, he directly greeted the Architects Association and asked Zhang Cheng to obtain the qualification certificate of a top architect without taking the exam.

This is a top architect, and there are not many top architects in the entire Federation.

It can be said that as long as he can be recognized by the Association of Architects and pass the assessment of the Association of Architects, once an architect is successfully promoted to a top-level architect and obtains a top-level qualification certificate, his treatment in the Federation will be several times higher than before.

Zhang Cheng holds the qualification certificate of a top architect, even if he works for the federation, his monthly salary will not be short of hundreds of thousands of federation points.
