Chapter 143 Special Rewards

Chapter 143 Special Rewards
It’s just that the follow-up research needs to spend a lot of alliance points. Old Buck owed Zhang Cheng a lot, so he offered to Zhang Cheng to help Zhang Cheng share part of the funds.

Old Buck has scientific research funds approved by the federal government, but the money can only be used for scientific research projects in theory, and it is naturally inappropriate for Zhang Cheng to do such a private matter.

What Old Buck was talking about was his own salary. The Federation not only gave Old Buck the privilege of independent research and development, but also paid Old Buck a very high salary.

Zhang Cheng didn’t have the nerve to ask for Old Buck’s money. He originally asked others to help him study the Heart of Blood, but now he had to pay for Old Buck himself, which was somewhat unreasonable.

Moreover, Old Buck will definitely be a figure who can stand alone in the science and technology association in the future, and there may still be many scientific research matters that require Old Buck’s help.

Besides, it’s not that Zhang Cheng can’t afford the research and development funds now.

The production of anti-riot helmets does not require props such as energy chips, and Zhang Cheng can get a lot of materials for their production from various channels.

Under the premise of sufficient collection point support, Zhang Cheng can now earn alliance points very fast.

Now the speed at which Zhang Cheng can make money is limited but the speed at which he can make equipment.

Zhang Cheng now has two workbenches in the manor, and Zhang Cheng has let the two workbenches make anti-riot helmets at the same time, but the speed of making anti-riot helmets is still not up to speed.

After Zhang Cheng added some cooking speed bonuses in the early stage, a lot of subsequent production level attribute points were invested in the production speed of weapons and armor equipment.

But now Zhang Cheng still needs nearly half an hour to make a riot helmet every time.

In addition, the time for preparing materials in the early stage has to be taken away, so now Zhang Cheng is still under some pressure on the production equipment side.

However, Zhang Cheng’s money-making speed is not slow now. Zhang Cheng can sell forty or fifty anti-riot helmets in a day, and he has about 20 alliance points after deducting shipping costs.

It is so easy to make money after owning the formula. The anti-riot helmet has purchased the formula at the beginning, then spent a lot of money to refine the formula, and now mass-produced. The initial investment has long been paid back, and Zhang Cheng does not know how much he has earned profit.

Of course, the formula for the anti-riot helmet was originally bought at a discount in the store, which also saved Zhang Cheng a lot of cost.

With an alliance point in the early 20, Zhang Cheng finally had the confidence to speak, and he was able to directly let Old Buck not worry about funding issues, and just focus on research.

All kinds of scientific research equipment in the Federal Science and Technology Association are quite complete, especially the laboratory equipped for Old Buck, which is the top laboratory in the Federation Science and Technology Association in terms of safety and functionality.

It doesn’t know how much it will cost to build such a top-notch laboratory, and there are only a handful of such laboratories in the entire Federation’s Science and Technology Association.

Old Buck not only has excellent scientific research ability and rich project experience, but also is kind and friendly. He is generous with the scientific research personnel of many science and technology associations, so many people want to be an assistant with Old Buck and learn a lot thing.

So the old Buck is not short of manpower over there now.

Zhang Cheng was not worried about Old Buck’s research on the Heart of Blood project, he just had to wait patiently.

Old Buck did not promise Zhang Cheng how long it would take to get the research conclusion, but he has already revealed to Zhang Cheng that the research on the Heart of Blood has begun to take shape. If Old Buck’s guess is correct, then he will continue to search for Zhang Cheng. The other parts of the Blood Necklace help a lot.

Zhang Cheng was overjoyed when he heard Old Buck’s exposure. After the bloodthirsty fangs, it took a long time for him to inquire about the blood heart by chance.

And in order to get the Heart of Blood, Zhang Cheng went through several twists and turns. First, he sneaked into the crisis-ridden Imperial Laboratory alone, and later visited old Buck. After learning the location of the Heart of Blood, he even used the power of the Federation to Cleared an Infested Lair.

I don’t know how much thought and training it took before Zhang Cheng got the heart of blood into his pocket.

But now that Zhang Cheng learned that Old Buck might be able to obtain information on other parts of the bloodthirsty necklace from the research, one can imagine how happy Zhang Cheng was.

Now what Zhang Cheng has to do is to wait for the good news.

What Zhang Cheng didn’t expect was that after three days, there was indeed good news, but it didn’t come from Old Buck, but from Mayor Justin.

”You have made great achievements in the battle for the Wushan Mine this time. Commander Zhou is full of praise for you. He has been nagging me in my ear every day these days, saying how brave you are, how brave you are. How capable.”

Zhang Cheng did not know when he had become a frequent visitor to the entire federal city hall, and now the guards at the city hall did not even need to conduct routine interrogation when they saw Zhang Cheng.

Justin was finally willing to change to a wider table. After all, the federal map is now much larger than before, and a larger table is needed to hold the federal map.

”Commander Zhou rarely admires a person so much. It seems that he has a good impression of you! I know that he is just afraid that I will treat you badly by talking to me like this. Don’t worry, I have already thought about it. Your special reward.”

After hearing Justin’s words, Zhang Cheng was a little surprised: ”There is a special reward? What is it?”

Justin laughed angrily: ”Why? I’m just so stingy in your eyes!”

Zhang Cheng wanted to nod subconsciously, but he held back in the end, but he still couldn’t help asking: ”So what are the special rewards? Weapons? Armor? Alliance points?”

”None of them,” Justin walked to the window and looked out in a certain direction.

Zhang Cheng stood next to Justin without knowing why, and looked in the direction of Justin’s line of sight, suddenly Zhang Cheng’s expression changed.

”That’s... a land vehicle robot?”

Zhang Cheng’s eyes lit up. In fact, he has been thinking about this lander robot for a long time. The lander robot was one of the most proud inventions in the past few years of the Science and Technology Conference, but due to the relatively high production cost, it has not been put into application in many places.

Only the Science and Technology Association of Duobei Snow Mountain and some areas of the Federal City Center have used land vehicle robots.

The precious thing about the land vehicle is that it has autonomous intelligence to a certain extent and has various practical functions. Basically, a land vehicle robot is equivalent to a comprehensive warrior.

There is also a division of labor within the lander robot, including combat robots, collection robots, and production robots.

No matter what kind of land vehicle it was, Zhang Chengcheng thought of its use in an instant.
