Chapter 57 Tom

Chapter 57 Tom
Zhang Cheng knew that this was the lair of the infected.

Those young infected creatures that just crawled out of the tumor may be powerful enemies of all survivors in the future, but it is a pity that Zhang Cheng is not yet capable of eradicating them.

The entire tree cave is shaped like a cave, and the deepest part of the cave is a crystal clear giant egg.

It is not easy for ordinary infected creatures to breed wisdom, but in the lair of infected people, the probability of infected creatures breeding wisdom is much higher.

This is largely related to this giant egg.

It’s a pity that with Zhang Cheng’s current strength, it is absolutely impossible to destroy this giant egg. If the giant egg is not broken for a day, the entire nest of infected people will continue to reproduce new infected creatures.

There are densely packed infected creatures next to the giant egg, some are responsible for guarding the nests of infected people, and some are waiting to mature and be released to various locations on the map.

Zhang Cheng didn’t dare to act rashly at all, but controlled Saker to find a gap on the stone wall to hide in.

Fortunately, there were not many infected creatures in the air in the green forest, so the Saker was not found while hiding on the top of the cave.

The falcon’s video footage was continuously transmitted to Zhang Cheng, who had already turned on the system’s screen recording function.

The next step is to wait for Armstrong to show his fox tail.

After controlling Saker to find a hiding place, Zhang Li immediately got up and left the bushes, hiding farther away from the hole of the ancient tree.

According to the departure time of Armstrong and others, this time is about to arrive.

After Zhang Cheng didn’t wait long, he saw a team of players rushing towards the ancient tree hole from a distance.

The leader was none other than Armstrong.

At this time, Armstrong was at the forefront of the team, and no one saw the strange look in his eyes.

”The lair of the infected is actually hidden in a tree hole? This... If there is no boss leading the way, who would have guessed it?”

Armstrong explained to everyone behind him that the tree hole was just a cover-up, and a larger space was connected behind the tree hole.

Everyone was amazed, but actually they were all nervous.

After all, they rarely come to such a deep place in the green forest, and they have encountered many powerful monsters along the way.

Thanks to their large number of people, they didn’t suffer.

Now we are going to explore the old den of the monsters, it’s no wonder they are not nervous.

Armstrong, of course, comforted and encouraged everyone, and then successfully brought everyone into the lair of the infected.

Zhang Li immediately opened the system panel to check the shooting screen of Saker.

The darkness at the entrance of the cave flickered for a while, and then the figures of several players appeared in the cave one after another.

”Roar!!”

The quiet infected lair suddenly smelled of many living people, and the entire infected lair suddenly boiled.

A monster with a terrifying appearance got up from piles of tumors like hills, and looked at the many players who appeared at the entrance of the cave.

A monster that was much taller than other infected creatures walked out from the giant egg, and the sound of each step seemed to make the hearts of the players feel even colder.

”This...what’s the matter?”

The players’ legs were shaking, and they couldn’t even stand up and leaned limply against the wall.

Some players turned around and wanted to escape from the infected lair, but found that the entrance of the cave had been blocked by many monsters for some time.

”Em... what should we do now?” Someone turned to ask Armstrong as if seeing the last hope.

Indeed, Armstrong is the only one among the crowd who still looks calm. Seeing his appearance, everyone can’t help but feel hopeful.

But no one expected that Armstrong, their last hope, would suddenly bow down to the monster.

”Master Toum, today’s sacrifice has been delivered, please enjoy it to your heart’s content.” Armstrong’s voice was very flattering, completely opposite to his previous high-spirited appearance.

”You! Armstrong, what do you mean by this sentence!” The players looked at Armstrong in disbelief. Armstrong’s transformation was too fast, and some players hadn’t reacted for a while.

”Armstrong, you... ah!”

The voices of the players cursing Armstrong were suddenly replaced by screams, and black tentacles like pythons instantly entangled every player except Armstrong.

Before any of the players had time to dodge, they were bound tightly by the black tentacles.

Immediately, the black tentacles retracted immediately, and returned to the side of the huge monster—Tum.

Tumu originally had several tentacles around him, but no one thought that there were more tentacles hidden in Tumu’s body, and the manipulation of the tentacles was so flexible and swift.

The voices of the players were completely submerged in the tentacles, and then Thom controlled the tentacles to flick, and the players’ bodies were thrown in all directions in the cave like sandbags.

The cancerous tumors built up into hills sensed the breath thrown by the living people, and swallowed a player as if they opened their mouths. Immediately, catheters protruded from the inside of the cancerous tumors and inserted into the player’s body. in vivo.

Zhang Cheng saw this scene through the falcon’s screen, and his heart was beating wildly. He knew why the players who followed Armstrong into the infected person’s lair in the past never sent messages again.

Because they are now being used as nutrients by the infected spores, they have no ability to act at all, and they can’t even maintain their consciousness.

At the same time, under the control of Thum, the speed of extracting nutrients from the tumor spores is very slow, and it will not directly cause the player to lose his life, and there is no situation where the player will be resurrected through the resurrection coin.

Intelligent creatures like humans are obviously of great benefit to the infection of spores. Fortunately, there are not many people lured in by Armstrong, and there has been no qualitative change in the infection nest.

Thinking of how many players were being nourished by the infected spores at this moment, Zhang Cheng was filled with indignation.

And Armstrong still crouched down on the spot, waiting for Tom to reward him.

Thom waved a few tentacles in the air, and then a lot of supplies appeared in front of Armstrong.

Bones, hides, infected blood...

Armstrong kowtowed to Tom’s back, and he didn’t dare to stand up slowly until Tom lay down again in a sea of infected spores, and put the large amount of items in front of him into his backpack.

Zhang Cheng saw everything in his eyes, and all the pictures were recorded by Saker.

Armstrong is indeed a traitor, and I am afraid that the entire Abyss Alliance is his accomplice.

After Armstrong left, the entire nest of infected people returned to calm, only the slight sound of one infection spore after another bursting.

Zhang Cheng waited until all the monsters rested quietly, then controlled the falcon to quietly fly out of the infected’s lair.

As soon as the Saker came out, Zhang Li immediately took the Saker back into the cabin, and then hurried back to the entrance and exit of the helicopter.

Zhang Cheng wants to go to the survivor camp immediately and report the matter to Mayor Justin.
