Chapter 56 Infiltrating the Lair of the Infected

[Are you sure you want to make an advanced UAV chip——Sunfalcon? (This production takes 120 seconds)]

”Making.”

Zhang Cheng rubbed his hands expectantly. At this stage, the drone is definitely a killer level. Not only the output ability of the Saker, but also many other uses of the drone.

In regional chat channels,
’Armstrong’: ”Guys, guess what I found in the den of the infected yesterday? I found fifty sets of bones!”

Everyone is familiar with bones, a resource dropped by monsters in the green forest, because it has a wide range of uses, and hunting is troublesome and dangerous, so the current price of bones is nearly 50 alliance points each.

A group of twenty bones, then fifty groups of bones...

At this time, the players who were silently watching the screen in the regional channel suddenly seemed like a pot had exploded.

[I really want to go home]: ”One thousand bones? Wouldn’t it be tens of thousands of alliance points if sold? Hey, can anyone really earn so many alliance points? What is it that limits my imagination? ?”

【Do you want to dance too】: ”Fuck, Mr. Armstrong, I missed the convoy yesterday, please take me with you no matter what!”

……

Everything that happened on the regional channel has long been captured by members of Tiangong who are secretly watching, and someone immediately reported the situation to Zhang Cheng.

”Are you finally going to do it?” Zhang Cheng frowned, just at this time the UAV chip Saker had been made, and he took the chip out of the tool table casually.

”Assembling the UAV——Saker.”

The three major drone parts were assembled automatically, and soon, a silver-gray drone appeared in front of Zhang Cheng.

Then a new module appeared on Zhang Cheng’s system panel - [Drone].

Click on the newly-appeared [Drone] section, there is only [Cabin 1], and the center of the screen of [Cabin 1] is the Saker icon.

Players can continue to open more cabins in the future, but Zhang Cheng only has cabin 1 now.

[Do you want to fly the drone - Saker? 】

”Fly!”

Following Zhang Cheng’s order, the Saker immediately flew out of the cabin, and then flew back and forth in the air, climbing up and down suddenly, and circling around Zhang Cheng again and again, the movements were very dexterous.

As an excellent combat UAV, the Falcon’s flight pursuit ability is naturally not bad. It can easily complete many difficult maneuvers in the air, and can also sneak quietly in the air and sneak up on the attack target.

Zhang Cheng made a move, and the falcon landed firmly in Zhang Cheng’s palm, like a spiritual pet bird.

”Use this lair of infected people who should be able to lurk into the green forest?”

Zhang Cheng lowered his head and thought. Infected creatures are often extremely sensitive to the breath movement of living things, but they don’t pay much attention to machines like drones.

Unless the drone takes the initiative to attack.

Coupled with the dexterous flying ability of the falcon itself and the characteristics of silent stealth, Zhang Cheng decided to use the falcon to sneak into the lair of the infected.

UAVs have aerial photography functions. As long as the drone can sneak into the infected person’s lair in advance, it is very likely to be able to photograph Armstrong’s movements after entering the infected person’s lair.

”Action!” A bright light flashed in Zhang Cheng’s eyes. If it is really confirmed that Armstrong and the others have a problem today, then he will not let go of the entire Abyss camp.

It will take some time for Armstrong to gather his teammates together, and the entire Tiangong people did not let out the slightest word to avoid alarming the enemy.

Armstrong repeatedly summoned his teammates on the regional channel, and Zhang Cheng followed the chats on the regional channel while rushing to the shady forest.

Armstrong sent a screenshot of the game, which was his own alliance point balance. Zhang Cheng took a look and found that there were about [-] alliance points.

Originally, no one in the regional channel suspected Armstrong, and even some people noticed something was wrong, saying that they had also been to the lair of the infected, but died directly in it.

Armstrong was also asked what he got from people who had been to infected lairs in the past.

It’s a pity that Armstrong didn’t respond positively at all, but directly released a screenshot of his alliance balance.

The skeptical voice was instantly drowned out by the fanatical players, and everyone signed up to go with Armstrong.

Those players who had explored the infected lair alone but died in battle also began to wonder if they did not master the correct method, which led to them being sent home before they found the treasure.

The large number of people who signed up surprised Armstrong. In the end, Armstrong only took twenty people to explore the infected lair.

Armstrong explained that there are too many people to hide, and it is easy to expose everyone’s location, and promised to take them to explore the lair of infected people in the future.

Armstrong quickly organized his staff and set off. At this time, Zhang Cheng had already rushed to the green forest.

Armstrong had mentioned the location of the infected lair on the regional channel before, and he probably wanted to attract players to die, and by the way, he also proved that he was not lying.

Zhang Cheng quickly came to the coordinates mentioned by Armstrong, and slowly slowed down, being careful of the surrounding environment.

In the distance, Zhang Cheng stopped moving forward, and instead released the Saker, using the Saker for aerial reconnaissance.

When the Falcon’s stealth mode was turned on, the Falcon became even more inconspicuous in the sky. If Zhang Cheng didn’t look carefully, he would ignore this small black spot in the sky.

Zhang Cheng observed the scene on the ground through the synchronized images from the Falcon aerial photography.

”It should be there...it looks like a thousand-year-old tree from the outside, maybe there is a cave inside...”

Zhang Cheng controlled the Saker Falcon to lower its height and fly low in the bushes.

There is a huge tree hole in the trunk of the ancient tree. It is dark behind the tree hole. It seems to be nothing, but Zhang Cheng feels a little uneasy only through the aerial footage.

There was no movement outside the tree hole for the time being, so Zhang Cheng didn’t wait any longer, determined to let Saker Falcon sneak in quietly.

If the drone is emptied of HP and crashes, it needs to wait for 10 minutes before it can be summoned from the cabin again, and the consumption of durability is also relatively large.

But at this moment, it is obviously impossible not to let the Saker go in. If it is delayed, Armstrong and others may come, and there may be no chance at that time.

Zhang Cheng controlled the Saker to glide slowly from the upper edge of the tree hole into the tree hole as much as possible, avoiding making any noise as much as possible.

As if passing through a curtain, the moment the Saker entered the tree hole, there seemed to be a layer of faint ripples on the pure darkness.

Successfully infiltrated!

Behind the tree hole, there is indeed a hole in the sky, with pitch-black tumors clinging to the wall like hearts, beating rhythmically.

From time to time, young infected creatures burst out of the tumor, and Zhang Cheng knew that this was the lair of the infected.
