Chapter 19 Feign Death Entry

Chapter 19 Feign Death Entry
”It’s almost here, we can’t go any further, now listen to me carefully.”

Zhang Cheng squatted down and lowered his voice: ”See that boulder over there? After a while, you put two ammunition boxes on top of the boulder and overlap them.”

”The height of the two ammunition boxes plus the height of the boulder is enough to prevent the mutant werewolves from attacking you.”

”One person first attracts the mutant werewolf to the boulder, and then quickly climbs up the boulder to avoid the werewolf’s attack.”

”This time is not enough for me to open the treasure chest. The werewolf moves too fast, so a second person is needed to attract the werewolf’s attention.”

”There’s a narrow opening over there...”

”The third person needs to...”

”There must be one person left at all times to avoid accidents...”

Zhang Cheng took a branch and drew on the ground, and several people were dumbfounded.

Did you get a treasure map?I’m afraid it’s not a detailed customs clearance strategy!
A few people didn’t ask any more questions, and Zhang Cheng naturally didn’t take the initiative to explain.

Repeatedly emphasizing the key details of the action, and even asked everyone to simulate a drill on the spot, Zhang Chengcai was ready to start the action.

There must be no problem in any of these links, otherwise the werewolf may have a hatred gap at any time, and then return to the treasure chest to continue guarding.

At this time, the most dangerous person became Zhang Cheng.

It can be said that Zhang Cheng has taken a huge risk, because he will bear the consequences of any one person’s mistakes.

Of course, Zhang Cheng also left himself behind, even if the operation really failed, he still had a way to escape.

”action!”

Following Zhang Cheng’s order, Ah Hao was the first to rush out. Outside of Zhang Cheng, Ah Hao’s position was the most dangerous.

The same was true when they fought mutant werewolves before. Ah Hao always rushed to the front. Zhang Cheng seemed to understand why everyone was so convinced of Ah Hao.

Ah Hao rushed out and fired a shot at the werewolf. Although the shot failed to hit the mutant werewolf due to the hasty movement, his goal was achieved. The mutant werewolf had noticed the little thing in front of him.

The agility of the mutant werewolf was even higher than that of the previous one. Ah Hao’s heart was beating wildly, and his adrenaline was secreting rapidly. Before he could even put the gun into his backpack, he threw it on the ground and ran towards the boulder with all his strength.

Two ammunition boxes have been placed on the boulder. Hao only needs to climb onto the boulder before being caught up by the werewolf to complete the task.

”Stable, second member, let’s go!”

Ah Hao performed very well. Zhang Cheng knew that there was no problem with Ah Hao, so he immediately asked the No.2 member to leave immediately.

The No.2 member was a lean guy, who shot out of the grass like an arrow after Zhang Cheng gave an order.

When the skinny guy jumped behind the mutant werewolf, Ah Hao had just climbed up the boulder and stood on top of the ammunition box.

The mutated werewolf instantly lost Ah Hao’s hatred, and was immediately attracted by the fast-running lean guy.

”Third and fourth members, let’s go! Pay attention to the response!”

Zhang Cheng shouted lowly. After the two members took action, Zhang Cheng stared closely at the situation on the field, and then he suddenly attacked like a cheetah.

After rushing to the treasure box, Zhang Cheng started counting down the seconds to open the box.

The countdown time became extremely long, and Zhang Cheng was paying attention to the movements of the mutant werewolves while opening the treasure chest.

A few people made no mistakes, and the mutant werewolf was sneaked around by a few people.

Half a minute later, Zhang Cheng shouted: ”Withdraw!”

After getting rid of the hatred, everyone evacuated separately and gathered at the agreed place.

Zhang Cheng’s face was full of excitement. The mutated werewolf returned to the hidden treasure box he was guarding. Only one opened treasure box was left. The golden light flowing on the treasure box had dimmed, and the treasure box gradually dissipated, waiting for the next round of refresh.

The sound of a mutated werewolf roaring to the sky came from behind, and Zhang Cheng and the others hid in the woods to share the spoils.

”This treasure chest belongs to you, and this is what comes out of the treasure chest.”

Zhang Cheng took out a few items from his backpack and put them on the ground.

【Infected blood*2】

【Twig*20】

【Enable Stone*1】

The rewards offered in the treasure chest this time are considered quite satisfactory. Infected blood and twigs can be sold for [-] alliance points.

But the empowerment stone is an extremely useful item.

[Enablement stone, add a random entry to your equipment]

What is a random entry? It is an additional attribute of the equipment.

For example, Zhang Cheng’s collector wristband, after being modified by Zhang Cheng’s formula, has two more entries, which increase movement speed and automatically restore blood volume.

It can be said that entries are powerful abilities other than equipment attributes.

Different equipment has different potential entries. Just like for firearms, you can’t always expect it to produce a damage reduction entry.

Some equipment entries are very rare and effective, such as the entries that can be swiped from the gatherer wristband are very useful.

Moreover, equipment will be updated. Entries cannot be disassembled and can only be eliminated as the equipment becomes obsolete.

Therefore, most players will use empowerment stones on equipment that will be used for a long time.

”Brother Cheng, why don’t you give this treasure chest to you...” Ah Hao hesitated to speak, and then said after a while: ”This time we followed you to find the refresh point of the treasure chest and the method of stealing the treasure chest. The value has exceeded the value of a treasure chest.”

Before Zhang Cheng was not stingy, but told the news of the treasure chest being refreshed within two hours.

So Ah Hao and others can completely open the treasure chest again in the future. Anyway, according to Zhang Cheng’s method, they can avoid fighting to steal the treasure chest, but there is a little risk in the process.

It is better to teach people to fish than to teach people.

The other people nodded after hearing this, without any discomfort on their faces, and they all agreed that the treasure box belonged to Zhang Cheng.

Zhang Cheng didn’t write any ink, and said bluntly: ”Well, this empowering stone belongs to me, and the infected blood and twigs are for you.”

”I can’t open the treasure chest without you guys. In this way, come here, and I’ll show you something good.”

Several people came over curiously and saw Zhang Cheng taking off the collector’s wristband from his wrist and taking out the empowerment stone he had just obtained.

[Do you want to use empowerment stone*1 to empower the gatherer’s wristband? 】

”Enable.”

[Collector Wristband Obtained Entry 3: Feign Death: When the player’s HP drops to 0, the player enters a state of Feign Death, which lasts for 10 minutes. In the state of suspended animation, the player will not be attacked and can be rescued by other players]

suspended animation!

A large part of the reason why the gatherer wristband is still popular in the late game is because the gatherer wristband has a rather rare entry - suspended animation.

The effect of suspended animation is very simple, similar to that in a chicken game. After falling to the ground, you can be pulled up by your teammates.

But there are also some differences. In the state of suspended animation, the player cannot move, but can use the mind to control the game panel to call for help from other players!

The resurrection coins are limited, who would think that they have a long life?
