Brother Dao Took the Entertainment Industry by Storm, Fans Beg Me Not to Kill Anymore

Chapter 866: Black Ship Shines Brightly, Dawn Is Just Around the Corner!

”Hey, are you guys there? Is everything alright?”

Xiao Heʼs voice came through the headphones.

Shu Han was hiding in a gap at a bend in a pipe. When he heard Xiao Heʼs question, he simply tapped his earphones slightly to indicate that he was still listening.

”I have the cargo ship under control.”

Xiao He continued speaking into the earpiece.

”I have successfully contacted the domestic coast guard command center and provided real-time updates on the return route and the situation on board. The previously hidden black ship is now completely exposed to maritime surveillance. The coast guard is on its way and will be able to rendezvous with us soon, so everyone please hold on a little longer!”

The reason why they are called ”ghost black ships” is because these people deliberately disable ship identification systems and conceal ship information, making it impossible for surrounding ships to identify their existence and preventing nearby sea areas and bases from scanning them, thus achieving the effect of not being able to detect the ship in the entire sea area.

Now, Xiao He has restarted all these systems and is continuously broadcasting the shipʼs position to the outside world, even contacting the police through the shipʼs satellite phone.

This process completely exposed the ”ghostʼs” hiding place, leaving these people no chance whatsoever.

The funny thing is, these people havenʼt even realized that somethingʼs wrong yet—

”They probably didnʼt expect that the person steering the boat now wouldnʼt be one of their own. I heard footsteps several times just now, but none of them came in here, so Iʼm actually quite safe here.”

Xiao He spoke these words with a hint of mockery.

”Perhaps they never imagined that someone would still be sailing this old, dilapidated ship.”

Fortunately, what they thought wouldnʼt work was precisely Xiao Heʼs trump card for boarding the ship.

His original plan consisted of two parts.

Plan one: successfully bring the other victims back to the Xiang Sheng, then hijack the ship and drive the entire crew of thugs back to deliver the goods.

Plan Two: If we fail to bring back the other victims, weʼll just steal the boat, then take the criminals and the victims back with us, catching them red-handed.

Anyway, donʼt say anything, heʼs determined to take this ship.

He canʼt sleep if he lets any of those damn guys go.

So even if it meant enduring hatred and firepower, being chased and killed by thugs, he was determined to lead these guys back to face punishment.

Thinking of this, Xiao Heʼs eyes deepened, his gaze fixed on the endless expanse of sea and sky in the distance, his tone more resolute than ever before: ”Hold on.”

But as soon as Xiao He finished speaking, before the other two could respond, another fierce gunfight broke out somewhere on the ship.

At that moment, the other two peopleʼs hearts were in their throats.

Immediately afterward, footsteps could be heard behind Xiao He.

This time, the footsteps werenʼt just passing by; they were heading straight for the steering room!

Xiao He took a breath and immediately realized that another tough battle was about to begin.

He turned around and helped the captain, who was lying on the ground, back into the cockpit. He then lifted the captainʼs hand and forced it into the correct position to allow the ship to operate normally. He then turned around and picked up the pistol and bullets from another crew member, quickly checking his own equipment.

Two used pistols, four full magazines.

Itʼs more than enough to hold this place.

Xiao He couldnʼt help but worry about the others.

But soon, someone broke down the door again.

The next moment, intense gunfire erupted once again!

-

Shu Han heard intense gunfire coming from different directions outside, and he felt a little anxious.

Based on the location and the direction from which they had briefly met before, he could roughly guess who was on both sides.

The person upstairs is Xiao He, and the person closer to him is Officer Cheng Bei.

Shu Han took stock of his bullets and couldnʼt help but give a wry smile.

In fact, Shu Han had the fewest bullets. He sneaked in during the last shipment, carrying only a fully loaded pistol.

There was nothing else.

Fortunately, this diverted other peopleʼs attention, allowing Xiao He to regain control of the steering room in time.

If they can control that area, then they will be closer to the dawn of victory.

But the closer it got to dawn, the more Shu Han felt that time was passing by.

He was worried about Xiao He, worried about Officer Cheng Bei, and worried about himself.

As the gunfire outside gradually subsided, Shu Han couldnʼt help but take stock of his ammunition once again.

Just then, he heard hurried footsteps outside.

Then came the excited chatter of the thugs: ”That guyʼs out of bullets! Quick! Charge in and capture him alive!”

”Damn! We finally caught him!”

”Where are the others? Damn it, Iʼm going to chop these guys up and fish them out one by one today.”

”Weʼll succeed if we catch one. Break his arms and legs and throw him on the deck. I donʼt believe the others wonʼt come out!”

”They couldnʼt escape anyway! Catching them is only a matter of time. If theyʼre so capable, they might as well jump into the sea! Hahaha.”

The thugs let out mocking laughter.

Shu Hanʼs heart was in his throat.

Oh no, Officer Chengbei is surrounded!

This is actually normal.

After boarding the ship, Xiao He went straight to the wheelhouse and then started sailing, without attracting anyone elseʼs attention. After helping Xiao He draw away the attention of the other thugs, Shu Han also kept a low profile and didnʼt dare to show his face too much.

Cheng Bei, considering that the other two on the ship were just ordinary people with little ability to protect themselves, and worried that they would be caught and lose their lives, kept moving around at high intensity to attract the attention of these criminals, making most of the criminals on the ship chase after him. He even used the locations he had secretly boarded the ship to find out to fight a guerrilla war with these people.

But doing so would be very dangerous for him.

Once surrounded, Cheng Bei, who already had very few bullets to spare, would be captured sooner or later.

To be honest, itʼs quite an achievement to have lasted this long. Cheng Bei truly deserves to be called an outstanding police officer who has gone undercover twice in a row.

Therefore, he should not have died here!

Shu Han gripped the gun tightly, his mind racing.

Just then, Xiao Heʼs voice came through his earpiece: ”Whatʼs the situation on your end? Whoʼs in trouble?”

As Xiao He spoke, Shu Han suddenly had a flash of inspiration: ”Where is their leader now? Xiao He, do you know him?”

“Skinny Monkey? I just heard them on the walkie-talkie say that he went back to the office. He probably heard that Juedan died, so he wanted to go there to check the contents of the safe.”

Some people on the ship are trying to take back the wheelhouse, while others are surrounding Cheng Bei. So, there shouldnʼt be many people left on the lone skinny monkeyʼs side.

Of course, this is still very dangerous, since no one knows how capable this skinny monkey is, or whether he is carrying any other weapons...

Shu Han clenched his fists, having already made up his mind.

Meanwhile, Xiao He seemed to understand something and immediately asked, ”Has something happened to Officer Cheng Bei?”

”You want to save him? Calm down first!”

To be honest, of the three of them, Shu Han was the one Xiao He was most worried about.

He knew himself that he possessed an overpowered advantage and was completely unafraid of getting hurt, while Cheng Bei was, after all, a policeman, battle-hardened and experienced, capable of protecting himself.

But Shu Han is different; he is a true actor.

Performance and real combat are different.

No one can guarantee his safety.

However, Xiao He is now trapped in the steering room and cannot leave. The only person who can help Cheng Bei is Shu Han on the outside.

—This puts the risk factor at its maximum.

However, Xiao He didnʼt have time to say anything more to Shu Han.

Because someone threw a grenade in from outside the door across the street!

”grass!”

Xiao He cursed under his breath and quickly dodged away.

If all this equipment is destroyed in an explosion, no one will be able to leave!

These idiots have gone mad!
