Spiritual Energy Revival: Transform Into a Divine Phoenix, Automatically Upgrade

2: Chapter 2 Supreme Aura Cells! Sunlight”Ding, a cell containing Supreme Aura within your body has been awakened by the system...”

”Ding, your Supreme Aura Cells have awakened and sensed the host’s utter despair. Extremely angry and unwilling to give up, they have decided to fight for a breath and begun to automatically upgrade...”

”Ding, after much effort, your Supreme Aura Cells have successfully infected a neighboring ordinary cell...”

Ye Yang, who was plunged into despair, shuddered.

”Could it be an auditory hallucination?”

Before he could think much more, a warm current flowed from deep within his body, making him feel as comfortable as if he were bathing in a hot spring.

And it seemed there was some invisible, indescribable change happening inside his body...

”This is... Could it be that I possess a system after transmigrating!”

As his mind reeled, a translucent screen appeared in his mind.

Host: Ye Yang

Race: Sparrow

Level: Mortal

Bloodline: Unawakened

Skills: None

”It really is a system!”

Ye Yang was shocked! Having spent a long time reading web novels in his past life, he was not unfamiliar with the appearance of a system.

At the same time, a stream of information appeared in his mind.

A few seconds later, he understood the system’s information and function.

The system’s name is the automatic upgrade system, and as the name implies, it can automatically upgrade everything he possesses!

”Automatic upgrade... I wonder exactly what kind of things it can upgrade...”

”Great! Heaven never closes all doors; the days ahead will surely be very exciting!”

Although he was not at all familiar with his current surroundings, he knew his future life... no, his future bird-life would definitely be exceptionally exciting!

Suddenly, Ye Yang thought of the system notification sound from just before.

”Now there are Supreme Aura Cells in this body, it seems I have two of them... What is the use of this?”

When doubts arose in his heart, the system notification sound in his mind rang out again.

”Ding, your Supreme Aura Cells glanced at you, the newbie host, with contempt, then turned around, closed their eyes, and rested to conserve energy...”

”Ding, your Supreme Aura has fallen into a deep sleep and stopped absorbing energy.”

”This... have the Supreme Aura Cells in my body become sentient?”

He quickly realized this was the effect of the automatic upgrade system and felt relieved.

Then he pondered.

”Currently, only the Supreme Aura Cells are transcendent existences...”

A human body is composed of 40 trillion cells; even for birds, it starts at at least a trillion cells.

Although he didn’t know what Supreme Aura Cells were, an increase in their number would certainly be a good thing for him.

However, the system in his mind only gave him simple information before falling silent; it seemed to be a system without intelligence.

”How can I make the Supreme Aura Cells multiply?”

As soon as this thought appeared, the system notification sound in his mind rang out again.

”Ding, the resting Supreme Aura Cells in your body express dissatisfaction with your words; there is no energy in the body, making it very exhausted...”

”Energy?”

Ye Yang whispered in his heart, seemingly understanding something.

”It seems the automatic upgrade system just grants anthropomorphic power to things inside the body... These little anthropomorphic guys also need energy to operate.”

”Where should I go to find energy?”

...

In the girls’ dormitory.

While Ye Yang’s system was activating and he was shocked and pondering, Ran Xiaoyue had been quietly staring at him.

A trace of curiosity and surprise flashed in her bright, lively eyes.

She naturally didn’t notice the system in Ye Yang’s mind; she was just puzzled by the fiery red fledgling in front of her.

Why did this fiery red fledgling give her such an unusual feeling...

Ran Xiaoyue, watching the motionless fledgling on the table, felt a bit nervous.

”Could something be wrong with this fledgling...”

She then took out her phone and started searching for details on caring for fledglings.

”Newly hatched fledglings have fragile bodies; need to pay attention to food, ambient temperature, ventilation...”

”Right! Ventilation!”

Ran Xiaoyue’s black-and-white eyes lit up, and she carefully carried the wooden nest with the fledgling and placed it on the windowsill.

It was currently afternoon, a beautiful sunny day, and rays of warm sunlight shone onto the windowsill; a beam of warm sun happened to shine on Ye Yang.

”Ding, the exhausted Supreme Aura Cells feel the energy of the warm sunlight and are invigorated! Efficiency increased! Starting to perk up and rapidly accumulating energy...”

”Ding, the high-spirited Supreme Aura Cells make a concerted effort! Successfully infected 5 surrounding ordinary cells!”

”Hmm... This is... Sunlight is actually energy!”

Although Ye Yang had just been born and couldn’t open his eyes to know his surroundings, he knew he had been taken to a place with sunlight by a girl.

His body felt warm, and after the system notification sound, he clearly felt his body becoming stronger!

Although the increase in strength was only slight, it was indeed stronger; if he weren’t such a weak and powerless fledgling, he wouldn’t have been able to feel this change.

A beam of warm sunlight shone on his fiery red, translucent body; on the surface, no changes could be seen, but if someone were to look at his body with a high-magnification microscope, they would discover a strange red energy constantly nourishing his flesh.

Ye Yang felt his body constantly growing stronger, feeling as comfortable as if he were bathing in a hot spring.

”Ding, the warm sunlight makes the Supreme Aura Cells feel invigorated! Infected 10 more surrounding ordinary cells!”

”Now there must be over a dozen Supreme Aura Cells in my body.”

Although he didn’t know what Supreme Aura Cells were, more was definitely better.

”I never expected that one day I would become like a Kryptonian cheater, getting stronger just by sunbathing... This is awesome!”

Bang!

The dormitory door was suddenly pushed open, and Li Minmin returned with a bag.

”That pet store actually had bird feed, this is a bag of mealworms.” As she spoke, she took the mealworms out of the bag, ”Good thing I remembered that fledglings can eat worms as soon as they are born...”

”Come on... little bird, be good and open your mouth...”

Ye Yang, bathing in the warm sunlight, heard another female voice using a tone to coax a child, and felt embarrassed.

What left him even more speechless was, ”You actually want me to eat worms? Just kidding...”

Ye Yang turned his head and resolutely refused, but after smelling an extremely enticing scent, he couldn’t help but open his mouth.

”Eh, Xiaoyue, this fledgling is so smart; it actually knows how to open its beak on its own!”

Before Ye Yang could make any move, he felt something extra in his mouth; it was that little guy exuding an enticing scent!

The little guy in his mouth was moving!

Ye Yang knew this was a mealworm and had no choice but to swallow it whole.

A few seconds later, the feeling of weakness disappeared a little.

Only then did he realize that the feeling of weakness was the hunger of a bird.

Subsequently, a few more mealworms entered his stomach; after eating his fill, Ye Yang was soon swept up by a powerful sense of exhaustion and fell into a dream.
