After the Breakup, Indulgence Returned to Cash, and I Topped the Rich List

225: Chapter 225 Private Museum Plans!”Maria, brew the da hong pao picked from the old master’s treasured sub-trees.”

Shen Zhou laughed heartily and immediately gave the order to Maria beside him.

Soon, the professional tea servers brought by Maria showcased their tea artistry and served the fragrant tea bowls.

”Many people abroad who try to be sophisticated like to use teacups to brew tea; only a true fellow countryman like Mr. Shen would bring out these tea bowls with such historical depth.”

Mr. Sun raised his tea bowl and took a large, bold gulp.

The other embassy staff members did the same.

After all, they had been in a rush all the way here, and seeing the tea bowls made them realize how thirsty they actually were.

After a bowl of tea, the distance between everyone diminished significantly.

Shen Zhou chose to serve the precious sub-tree da hong pao tea while hosting everyone, and he had even thoughtfully prepared large tea bowls.

This was enough to prove that although Shen Zhou had become the heir to the Ben Lati Family, he had never forgotten his Chinese heritage.

”Mr. Sun, since everyone is here, I’ll get straight to the point.”

Shen Zhou gently set down the tea bowl in his hand.

In an instant, everyone in the living room focused their attention on Shen Zhou.

”Originally, I planned to take my time looking for a construction team for the thousand-meter building.”

”I’ve already inspected several local Arabian and Euro-American construction teams. Without a doubt, their efficiency and professionalism can’t compare to our Chinese construction teams.”

”So I have decided that, no matter what, the construction team for the thousand-meter building will come from China Infrastructure.”

Shen Zhou immediately gave a reassuring guarantee to the embassy and the high-level officials from the Chinese delegation.

After all, that was indeed what he was thinking, and he saw no need to manipulate them to gain any benefits.

”Mr. Shen, thank you for your trust in China Infrastructure.”

”To repay your trust, Mr. Shen, we will pass this information back home and have all the large state-owned infrastructure enterprises participate in an open bidding process.”

”We welcome you to send supervisors to China to oversee the entire bidding process, Mr. Shen.”

”Of course, we will also specifically invite several large private enterprises to cooperate with the state-owned ones to contract the infrastructure work for the world’s tallest building.”

Mr. Sun from the embassy spoke with absolute certainty.

Everything he said perfectly avoided the possibility of anyone trying to conduct under-the-table dealings back home.

Shen Zhou nodded in satisfaction at this.

He immediately looked at Maria and said, ”Maria, have Zhao Pengju handle this trip.”

”You communicate this to him; I won’t go see him myself.”

Maria respectfully complied and immediately took out her notebook to highlight the task.

Mr. Sun and the others’ eyes flickered slightly.

They had thought Maria would be sent to China as the supervisor.

But they didn’t expect Shen Zhou to suddenly mention Zhao Pengju.

Shen Zhou had performed many heroic feats in the Arabian region, not to mention his grand gestures in Europe and America.

Thus, Shen Zhou’s name had long been known back in China.

Before visiting the manor, Mr. Sun and his entourage from the embassy had already thoroughly investigated Shen Zhou’s public records.

They naturally knew that Zhao Pengju was a highly valued executive at an investment company under Shen Zhou.

Especially since Zhao Pengju had recently been involved in Stephen Chow’s billion-dollar project.

Therefore, Zhao Pengju was also a subject of their attention.

”However, it seems Shen Zhou trusts Maria more; otherwise, he wouldn’t have Maria arrange for Zhao Pengju to handle the inspection and supervision project.”

Mr. Sun quickly reached this conclusion in his mind.

Consequently, the way he looked at Maria became increasingly warm and respectful.

”I heard that Miss Maria was previously an executive in the customer service department of a Swiss Bank, and her annual salary was already in the millions of euros.”

”It seems Miss Maria’s ability to handle affairs is indeed outstanding; even I have much to learn from her.”

Mr. Sun praised Maria to her face without reservation.

”You’re too kind, Mr. Sun. Before I met the boss, I was only striving for my own personal gain.”

”After meeting the boss, I dedicated myself entirely to working for him.”

”But in any case, I cannot compare to you, Mr. Sun, as you have always been working for the sake of all of China.”

Maria spoke with utmost sincerity.

From Shen Zhou’s treatment of Mr. Sun’s group, she had already understood the kind of attitude she should adopt in response.

After praising Maria for a while, Mr. Sun’s group shifted the topic back to Shen Zhou.

”By the way, Mr. Shen, haven’t you always wanted to build a Private Museum in China?”

”Before coming here, we consulted the relevant departments about the situation, and the authorities have also urged them to issue the complete set of necessary paperwork as quickly as possible.”

”If all goes well, all the relevant documents will be delivered to your registered residence in China by tomorrow evening at the latest.”

”Furthermore, no matter where you wish to build the Private Museum, our Ministry of Foreign Affairs will do its best to coordinate with the relevant departments to create the most favorable conditions for you.”

Mr. Sun’s words surprised even Shen Zhou.

He had long wanted to push forward with the construction of the Private Museum, but some of the procedures were so difficult to handle that even he found them daunting.

This had resulted in several national treasures he acquired at European Auctions being kept in bank vaults, never seeing the light of day.

He thought this matter would have to be shelved.

Who would have thought that just when Shen Zhou had stopped worrying about it, the relevant procedures had entered an expedited channel and were all completed.

”If the matter of the Private Museum can be settled, then I must truly thank you, Mr. Sun.”

”To tell you the truth, I do have a collection of special treasures from Europe and Africa.”

”Of course, those treasures were all acquired through Auction houses, and every item has proper documentation.”

”I only enjoy appreciating treasures, but I don’t have the technology to store them properly.”

”So, I’ve always been very concerned about the Private Museum.”

Shen Zhou joyfully shared his plans for the Private Museum with everyone.

In Shen Zhou’s plan, he would model the Private Museum’s scale after the Provincial Museum in the Northern Shaanxi region.

”I plan to offer high salaries to hire industry experts to be stationed at my Private Museum and maintain those treasures.”
