Cultivation: Starting with a Dual Cultivation Technique at the Immortal Rank

29: Chapter 29 Hundred Treasures Pavilion AgreementWith his grand vision set, Li Yifei wasted no time. The next day, in his capacity as a True Disciple, he sent formal messages to the powers that had sent ”gifts,” such as the Wang Family of Qingyang City, the Zhang Family of Linhai Town, and the Zhou Family of Hundred Herbs Hall, inviting them to Yifei Peak for a meeting.

The heads of each Family who received the summons were all flattered, yet also a little apprehensive.

They knew that this summons from the newly advanced Senior Brother Li must be for an important discussion, which was both an opportunity and possibly a test.

Several days later, inside the main hall of Yifei Peak, the atmosphere was solemn.

Li Yifei sat high in the main seat, his expression composed. Beside him, Lin Qingxue, Xiao Waner, and his other earliest Dao Companions stood by, while Luo Lingxi held a Jade Slip, recording the key points of the meeting.

Below the hall, Wang Defa, the head of the Wang Family, Zhang Fugui, the head of the Zhang Family, Zhou Jimin, the master of Hundred Herbs Hall, and others sat upright, their expressions respectful.

”Family Heads, I’ve invited you here today because there’s a mutually beneficial opportunity I’d like to discuss with you all,” Li Yifei said directly, his voice not loud, but clearly reaching everyone’s ears.

Wang Defa, the head of the Wang Family, was a shrewdFat. He immediately stood up, cupped his hands, and said with a beaming smile, ”Senior Brother Li, you flatter us! It is a great blessing for our small families to be able to serve Senior Brother. Just give the command, and we will not hesitate to die!”

”Family Head Wang, there’s no need for such formality,” Li Yifei waved his hand, signaling him to sit down, then changed the subject. ”I’ve observed that your families either excel at business, are skilled in pharmacology, or possess unique products, but you all operate independently, with limited scale. Have you ever considered what it would be like if all your resources were integrated?”

Everyone was stunned by his words, exchanging glances, not understanding what Li Yifei was implying.

Li Yifei continued, ”My intention is to lead an Alliance with all of you, to establish a commercial league, temporarily named ’Hundred Treasures Pavilion.’”

”Your families can collectively place your specialties, spirit materials, Magical Artifacts, and other resources into the Hundred Treasures Pavilion for sale. This way, with a complete range of goods and a grand scale, it will be far superior to any single shop.”

Upon hearing this, the Family heads showed thoughtful expressions. This idea was good, but the risks were also great. How would a new business attract customers? How would the profits be distributed?

As if seeing through their concerns, Li Yifei’s lips curved slightly, and he revealed his true trump card: ”As for the core commodities of the Hundred Treasures Pavilion, you needn’t worry. I, Li Yifei, am not very talented, but I have some understanding of the Dao of Alchemy. While I can’t say for sure about other things, I can stably supply first-grade Medicinal Pills of perfect quality.”

”What?! Perfect quality!”

At these words, everyone was astonished!

Wang Defa excitedly stood up from his chair, his plump face flushed red: ”Senior... Senior Brother Li, you mean, those perfect quality Medicinal Pills with no Pill Toxins and ten out of ten efficacy?”

”Precisely,” Li Yifei nodded calmly, as if stating a trivial matter.

The hall instantly fell into a deathly silence, followed by heavy breathing.

Everyone present was a Cultivator; they knew too well what ”perfect quality Medicinal Pills” meant! It wasn’t just about good efficacy; it also meant being able to ignore Pill Toxins and safely and boldly consume pills to upgrade! Once such Medicinal Pills appeared, let alone Qi Refinement Stage Disciples, even Foundation Establishment Stage Seniors would be willing to pay a high price to buy them to lay a good foundation for their juniors!

Zhou Jimin, the master of Hundred Herbs Hall, was trembling with excitement. He stammered, ”If there are truly perfect quality Medicinal Pills as a cornerstone, why would the Hundred Treasures Pavilion worry about customers? Just spread the word, and Cultivators throughout the entire Qingyun Sect’s sphere of influence will flock to it! At that time, will other commodities in the pavilion still be difficult to sell?”

”That’s the idea,” Li Yifei said, satisfied with their reactions.

The Family heads instantly understood the key, and their gazes towards Li Yifei were filled with fanaticism and reverence. This was not a commercial Alliance; this was clearly a mountain of gold! And Li Yifei was the one holding the key to this mountain of gold!

Wang Defa was the first to express his stance. He bowed again, this time a ninety-degree grand salute: ”Senior Brother Li has far-reaching vision. My Wang Family is willing to devote all its Family’s strength to follow Senior Brother and join the Hundred Treasures Pavilion! As for the profit split, my Wang Family only asks for a sip of soup; everything is at Senior Brother’s discretion!”

”My Zhang Family is the same!”

”My Hundred Herbs Hall is willing to follow Senior Brother’s lead!”

Everyone expressed their commitment, fearing to fall behind. They very shrewdly handed over the ownership and decision-making power of the Hundred Treasures Pavilion completely to Li Yifei, only asking for a share of the profits.

”Good,” Li Yifei was very pleased with their performance and smiled, ”Since you all are so sincere, I will not treat you unfairly. I will take seven-tenths of the Hundred Treasures Pavilion’s profits, and the remaining three-tenths will be distributed among you according to your contributions. How about that?”

”We will follow Senior Brother’s arrangements! Seven-tenths is too little, Senior Brother should take nine-tenths!” Wang Defa quickly said.

”No need, seven-tenths is fine. What I hope to see is a continuously growing Alliance, not me alone dominating,” Li Yifei waved his hand, appearing noble and upright.

Upon hearing this, the Family heads were even more moved and admired, feeling that they had followed the right person.

Seeing their shrewdness, Li Yifei also threw out some incentives at the right time. He looked at Zhou Jimin and said, ”Hall Master Zhou, the Spirit Medicine required for Alchemy by the Hundred Treasures Pavilion will henceforth be supplied uniformly by Hundred Herbs Hall. For specific matters, I will have Zhiqing liaise with you.”

He then turned to Wang Defa: ”Family Head Wang, I heard that Yuyan had experience managing shops when she was in the Family. After the Hundred Treasures Pavilion is established, I plan to entrust her with the daily operations of the Sect’s main store. What do you think?”

Zhou Jimin and Wang Defa were overjoyed at the news! This was not just business; it also gave their daughters specific positions by Li Yifei’s side, and their status would naturally rise! Both immediately bowed in gratitude.

Subsequently, Li Yifei finalized the Hundred Treasures Pavilion’s operating model: the main store directly managed by him within the Sect would be responsible for the production of core Medicinal Pills and resource allocation, while the branch stores within the Sect’s sphere of influence would be opened and operated by the respective families.

With the discussions concluded, the Family heads departed, satisfied, and began to make full preparations.

After seeing everyone off, Yifei Peak also became lively. Li Yifei gathered the women, laid out the Hundred Treasures Pavilion plan completely, and asked them about their respective intentions.

The newcomers, Wang Yuyan and Zhou Zhiqing, were naturally entrusted with important tasks, feeling both nervous and excited, full of drive.

Lin Qingxue and Xiao Waner, who had followed Li Yifei the earliest, exchanged glances. They were already devoted to the Dao of Alchemy and immediately chose Alchemy. They already had a foundation, and now with the personal guidance of Li Yifei, a theoretical Great Master, plus an unlimited supply of Spirit Medicine, their Alchemy skills were bound to advance by leaps and bounds.

Zhu Xi, with her lively and active personality, was very interested in managing shops and volunteered to help Wang Yuyan.

Zhao Feiyan, who was skilled in dance, and Qin Yue, who was introverted, were not interested in business. They preferred to spend their time Cultivating and pleasing their husband, choosing to continue their secluded Cultivation on the peak.

Su Yunmeng, with her flexible mind, saw this as a good opportunity to expand her network. She proactively offered to be responsible for the Hundred Treasures Pavilion’s external publicity and liaison with other forces; her sociable personality was perfectly suited for this position. Her younger sister, Su Yunxi, remained shy and chose to follow her sister, doing auxiliary clerical work.

As for Tang Linger, she was already worldly and proactively took on the mundane tasks of managing Yifei Peak’s internal resources, becoming another steward under Luo Lingxi.

Looking at the women, each performing their duties efficiently and orderly, Li Yifei felt a sense of accomplishment.

His Family was no longer just a harem that relied on his Dual Cultivation for advancement, but a clearly divided, nascent community of interests.

The Hundred Treasures Pavilion would be the first tentacle this Family extended outwards, and these women on Yifei Peak—some charming, some pure, some gentle—would all become important nodes in the grand web he was weaving.
