Cultivation: Starting with a Dual Cultivation Technique at the Immortal Rank

13: Chapter 13 A Strategy of Deception and Reality Leads to the Beauty’s ArrivalLi Yifei’s words were like a clap of thunder, exploding in Bai Zhi and Qin Wanqing’s minds.

To serve him for life, sign a Bloodline Contract, and bear his children?

This was no longer a transaction; it demanded they offer everything they had—their bodies, freedom, and even their Souls.

Qin Wanqing’s face instantly turned pale, her delicate body trembling slightly. Although she was over thirty, due to her single-minded pursuit of the Dao and a hidden physical ailment, she had never had intimate contact with any man. Li Yifei’s blatant demand filled her with shame and fear.

However, after the initial shock, Steward Bai Zhi keenly caught a hint of something unusual.

She looked at the composed young Junior Brother before her, then at Qin Baobao, who stood beside him with an innocent, happy expression, already at Qi Refining Stage three, and her heart suddenly stirred.

”Senior Brother Li...” Steward Bai Zhi’s voice was a little hoarse. ”You mean... you want us two to be like Junior Sister Qin Baobao?”

”Not entirely.” Li Yifei shook his head, his gaze clear, without a trace of lust, but rather full of a strategist’s scrutiny.

”Qin Baobao is my Dao Companion, and my future Family. As for you, if you agree to my conditions, you will be the future cornerstones of my Li Family. Your identities as Outer Sect Disciples, your positions in the Pill Fire Hall and Mission Hall, are valuable resources for my future Family. Why would I want you to give them up?”

He changed the subject, revealing his true scheme: ”What I mean by ’abandoning old identities’ is for you to transform yourselves, deep down, from struggling Outer Sect stewards with no future, into ’people of the Li Family.’ Your loyalty, your future, will be closely linked to my Li Family. Externally, you will still be Steward Bai and Steward Qin, but internally, you will be my, Li Yifei’s, people.”

These words, like parting clouds to see the sun, instantly dispelled the fear in Qin Wanqing’s heart, replaced by a deeper shock.

He... he was plotting this!

He didn’t want two playthings; he wanted to use them as leverage within the Sect to establish his own pieces!

Li Yifei continued: ”I can heal your injuries, using Medicinal Pills and Dual Cultivation methods to restore your Foundation to its original state, or even surpass it.”

”Senior Sister Bai Zhi, your True Spirit Root talent should not stop at the Qi Refinement Stage. Senior Sister Qin Wanqing, as long as your hidden ailments are removed, Foundation Establishment will not be difficult.”

”The higher your Cultivation, the more stable your status, and the greater your help to my Li Family. This is a win-win situation.”

He looked at their changing expressions, finally offering reassurance: ”You can consider this matter. But my patience is limited. Three days from now, if you are willing, come here to sign the contract. If not, what happened today, heaven and earth will know, and you and I will know.”

After speaking, he picked up his teacup and remained silent, completely leaving the choice to them.

People in despair cannot grasp at illusory dignity.

What Li Yifei offered was a tangible path to success, the only cost being their freedom, which they no longer cared about, and a future they had already resigned themselves to.

Finally, Steward Bai Zhi and Qin Wanqing exchanged glances, seeing the same determination in each other’s eyes.

They almost simultaneously stood up, bowed deeply to Li Yifei, and said in unison, ”We are willing!”

...

Over the next month, Li Yifei’s Immortal Cave became unusually lively.

Steward Bai Zhi and Qin Wanqing did not resign from their steward positions, but spent most of their time here, citing reasons like ”assisting Senior Brother Li with Alchemy” or ”secluding themselves to recover from injuries.”

Li Yifei did not break his promise. He first refined a furnace of first-grade perfect ”Azure Wood Rejuvenation Pills” to nourish their damaged Meridians and Dantian, stabilizing their continuously worsening injuries.

Subsequently, he began to perform deeper conditioning for them using the Grand Ultimate Yin-Yang Dual Cultivation Secret Canon.

This Cultivation Technique was gentle yet domineering. During the Dual Cultivation process, Li Yifei’s own Chaos Qi and Blood, like the purest life energy, slowly cleansed the accumulated injuries within their bodies. The cracks in Steward Bai Zhi’s Dantian were gradually mending, and the Yin and Yang cold Qi in Qin Wanqing’s Meridians was being refined and dispelled little by little.

Although complete recovery still required time, the feeling of their Cultivation loosening again and their bodies gradually recuperating rekindled the spirits of these two mature beauties, whose hearts had long been ashes. Their gazes towards Li Yifei also gradually evolved from initial transaction and awe to a hint of genuine admiration and reliance.

Just as Li Yifei was enjoying the stability and warmth of this nascent ”Family,” an unexpected yet reasonable event occurred.

On this day, the Restriction of his Immortal Cave was triggered again.

The arrival was a young woman dressed in Outer Sect Disciple attire, about eighteen or nineteen years old, with a graceful figure and extremely beautiful features.

She had a pair of watery peach blossom eyes, exuding three parts tenderness with every glance, skin as white as snow, and a gentle demeanor. Although she wasn’t as aloof and ethereal as Su Yanran, she possessed a unique, delicate beauty that made people adore her.

Li Yifei recognized her: Liu Ruyan.

On par with Su Yanran, Han Yueling, and others, she was once a strong contender for one of the Outer Sect’s three great beauties. However, due to her impoverished Family background and lack of Cultivation resources, her Cultivation progress was slightly slower, causing her to gradually fall behind.

”Junior Sister Liu? What brings you here?” Li Yifei opened the Restriction and asked calmly.

Liu Ruyan’s pretty face first flushed red upon seeing Li Yifei. Then, as if having made a huge decision, she bowed gracefully to Li Yifei and bravely said, ”Senior Brother Li... I, I want to become your Dao Companion!”

At these words, even Qin Baobao, who was meditating inside the Immortal Cave, opened her eyes in surprise.

Li Yifei was also startled, then a knowing smile welled up in his heart.

It worked!

His

He didn’t agree immediately, but asked with interest, ”Oh? Why? I remember there are quite a few Inner Sect Senior Brothers pursuing Junior Sister Liu.”

Liu Ruyan bit her cherry lips and honestly said, ”Those Senior Brothers... all they seek is my appearance. But I’ve heard that Senior Brother Li is benevolent and cares for Junior Sister Qin Baobao greatly, not only helping her Cultivation advance significantly but also gifting her precious Cultivation Techniques. I... I have mediocre Aptitude and scarce resources; only by attaching myself to a trustworthy strong individual can I go further on the path of immortality.”

She looked up, her watery peach blossom eyes meeting Li Yifei’s, filled with sincerity and anticipation: ”I am willing to serve Senior Brother like Junior Sister Qin Baobao, and bear children for Senior Brother, only asking that Senior Brother can give me a stable place to Cultivate and a glimmer of hope on the immortal path!”

What a clever woman!

Li Yifei secretly praised her in his heart. She clearly understood her strengths and weaknesses and made the most rational choice.

This precisely showed that his ”Alchemy Genius plus doting Dao Companion” persona held a fatal attraction for these bottom-tier female cultivators who lacked background but possessed talent and ambition.

”Very good.” Li Yifei’s lips finally curved into a satisfied smile.

He extended his hand towards Liu Ruyan, smiling gently, ”From today onwards, you are my fifth Dao Companion, Li Yifei. Welcome to this Family.”
