Cultivation: Starting with a Dual Cultivation Technique at the Immortal Rank

12: Chapter 12: The favor is settled, a mature woman arrives. The choice Li Yifei presented didn’t make Su Yanran ponder for too long.

Just one day later, the Restriction on Li Yifei’s Immortal Cave was triggered by a specific magical power fluctuation—this was the token he had given to the female cultivator for messaging, indicating that the principal had arrived in person.

Waving his hand to open the Restriction, a graceful purple figure stood silently outside the door.

It was Su Yanran.

Today, she had changed out of her usual Sect attire, wearing a well-tailored purple dress that accentuated her graceful, undulating curves. On her exquisite face, the characteristic coldness remained, but between her brows, there was a hint of an undeniable resolve and... submission.

”Senior Sister Su, what an honor to have you. I apologize for not coming out to greet you sooner.” Li Yifei stood at the entrance of the Immortal Cave, his expression calm, as if he wasn’t facing the most renowned beauty of the Outer Sect, but an ordinary business partner.

Su Yanran’s gaze fell upon Li Yifei, her heart far from calm.

This Junior Brother, who was only at Qi Refining Stage Five, possessed an unbelievably steady demeanor. In his deep eyes, there was none of the amazement, greed, or fawning that other male cultivators displayed when they saw her, only a profound calm, like an ancient well with no visible bottom.

This feeling of being completely seen through, yet unable to see through the other person, made her, a favored daughter of heaven, feel frustrated for the first time.

”Junior Brother Li.” Her crimson lips parted slightly, her voice clear and melodious like jade beads falling onto a plate. ”I accept your conditions. In the future, if you have any requests, as long as they do not violate righteousness or harm lives, Yanran will fulfill her promise.”

With that, she took out a package from her Storage Pouch, which contained all the auxiliary medicinal ingredients needed to refine the purple qi pill.

”Very good.” Li Yifei nodded, took the medicinal ingredients, and turned to walk into the Immortal Cave. ”Senior Sister Su, please wait for a moment.”

He didn’t invite Su Yanran inside, nor did he exchange many pleasantries. This business-like attitude, on the contrary, made Su Yanran think highly of him. She had expected him to take the opportunity to make other demands or say something frivolous, but Li Yifei’s straightforwardness demonstrated his absolute confidence in his Alchemy skills, and also showed that what he sought was indeed only that ”promise.”

Less than an hour later.

The Immortal Cave’s stone door opened again, and a rich, pure medicinal fragrance wafted out.

Li Yifei walked out, holding a jade bottle.

”I have not failed in my mission.” He handed the jade bottle to Su Yanran. ”Three perfect-grade Tier 1 purple qi pills have been successfully refined, all contained within.”

Su Yanran quickly took it, pulled out the stopper, and saw three shimmering purple, halo-infused supreme-grade Medicinal Pills lying quietly at the bottom of the bottle. The pure and flawless medicinal power even caused her cultivation at the Bottleneck stage to show faint signs of loosening!

It really was perfect quality! And three pills in one furnace!

Even with Su Yanran’s high Heart-Nature, she couldn’t hide her shock and joy at this moment.

She looked at Li Yifei, her eyes extremely complex, and bowed solemnly: ”Many thanks, Junior Brother Li! Yanran will remember this favor.”

”Senior Sister is too polite.” Li Yifei waved his hand, issuing a subtle dismissal. ”Senior Sister is at a crucial point for Breakthrough; it would be best to return to seclusion soon.”

Su Yanran gave him a deep look, engraving this debt of gratitude firmly in her heart, and without another word, transformed into a purple streak of light, rushing towards her own Immortal Cave.

Watching her departing figure, Li Yifei’s lips curved slightly upward.

One cannot rush when dealing with someone like Su Yanran. A favor from a True Spirit Root Genius.

In the future, it might be of greater use.

However, before the smile on his face had faded, the Restriction on his Immortal Cave was triggered again.

Li Yifei raised an eyebrow, opened the Restriction, and found two mature female cultivators of different charms standing outside the door.

One of them was Steward Bai Zhi, whom he had noticed before, from the Pill Fire Hall. Today, she looked even more haggard, but still maintained an air of dignity.

Beside her stood another beautiful woman, no less attractive than her. This woman was about thirty years old, dressed in the uniform of a Mission Hall Steward, with a voluptuous figure and an intelligent and gentle look in her eyes. However, those beautiful eyes also carried an unresolved sorrow.

”Steward Bai Zhi?” Li Yifei feigned surprise.

”Junior... Senior Brother Li.” Bai Zhi, seeing Li Yifei, nervously corrected her address and quickly bowed. ”I apologize for the abrupt intrusion; please forgive us, Senior Brother.”

The gentle woman beside her also bowed: ”Qin Wanqing of the Mission Hall greets Senior Brother Li.”

Li Yifei’s gaze swept over the two of them, and he already had a plan in mind.

Bai Zhi, a True Spirit Root, was injured by sinister poisonous medicine during a fight with an enemy, damaging her Foundation.

This Qin Wanqing, with her superior looks, was at Qi Refining Stage Eight, but her aura was unstable, seemingly harboring a hidden illness.

Most importantly, based on his previous brief observation and the faint primordial yin aura around her, she was also a virgin.

”Both Steward Senior Sisters are too polite, please come in.” Li Yifei calmly invited the two into his Immortal Cave.

Upon entering the Immortal Cave, Qin Baobao dutifully served Spirit Tea to the three of them, then quietly retreated to the side, curiously observing the two guests.

Bai Zhi looked at the rich Spiritual Qi and cozy decor inside the Immortal Cave, a hint of envy flashing in her eyes. Then, mustering her courage, she directly stated, ”Senior Brother Li, we have come today to ask for something. I know this request is very presumptuous, but... we are truly desperate.”

Her words were sincere, and her posture was extremely humble.

Li Yifei took a sip of tea and calmly said, ”Senior Sister Bai, please speak freely.”

Bai Zhi took a deep breath, pointing to Qin Wanqing beside her, her voice trembling slightly: ”Wanqing... she suffered a severe injury while performing a mission years ago, damaging the very root of her Meridians. Although her life was saved, a stubborn hidden ailment remained.”

”Now, her cultivation has been stuck at Qi Refining Stage Eight for many years, entirely because this hidden ailment prevents any progress. The Sect’s Mission Hall recently issued a long-term mission rewarding a ’foundation establishment pill’, but with her physical condition, she simply cannot complete it...”

She then pointed to herself, smiling bitterly: ”And I, Senior Brother may have heard, have a damaged Dantian, with no hope of further advancement in this life. Both of us... are people with no hope for the immortal path.”

Qin Wanqing’s eyes were slightly red, but she bravely held back her tears, though her despair was evident to anyone who saw it.

After listening, Li Yifei gently tapped the stone table with his finger and slowly said, ”So, you want me to refine Medicinal Pills to heal your injuries?”

”Yes!” Bai Zhi eagerly said, ”We have searched through ancient records, and Wanqing’s injury can only be cured by a perfect-grade Tier 1 ’Meridian-Coagulating Bone-Mending Pill’! But this pill is extremely difficult to refine, and we searched all over the Pill Hall, but no one dared to take on the task. We heard that Senior Brother Li’s Dao of Alchemy is profound, and he even has the confidence to refine perfect-grade purple qi pills... so... so we came seeking a glimmer of hope!”

”A perfect Meridian-Coagulating Bone-Mending Pill, huh...” Li Yifei pondered for a moment. This pill was indeed tricky, but for him, it was not difficult.

He looked at the two mature beauties before him, their faces etched with despair and hope, and a complete plan formed in his mind.

These two were not like Su Yanran. They had no background, no future, grasping at their last straw. Dealing with them didn’t require the long-term investment of a ”debt of gratitude.”

What he wanted was their everything.

”I can refine the Medicinal Pills.” Li Yifei slowly spoke, and his single sentence made the two women instantly hold their breath.

”Spirit Stones and medicinal ingredients, I don’t need any of them.”

His second sentence made Bai Zhi and Qin Wanqing almost disbelieve their ears.

Li Yifei raised his eyes, his gaze calm and sharp, sweeping over the two of them: ”Here, I don’t lack Spirit Stones, nor do I lack medicinal ingredients. What I lack are people who can establish a Family with me and pursue eternal life together.”

He changed the subject, throwing out a proposal that was enough to overturn their understanding:

”I can cure your injuries, repair your Foundations, and even give you a future far brighter than a ’foundation establishment pill’. But in exchange, I don’t want your promises; I want you yourselves.”

”From now on, you will leave the Outer Sect, abandon your old identities, become members of my Li Family, sign a Bloodline contract with me, serve me as your master for life, Dual Cultivate with me, and help me propagate my lineage. Are you willing?”
