Cultivation: Starting with a Dual Cultivation Technique at the Immortal Rank

23: Chapter 23 Snow Melts, Spring Warms, A Beauty Enters My DreamInside the Secret Room, the Spiritual Qi gradually subsided like a tide.

Li Yifei slowly opened his eyes from meditation, exhaling a long breath of turbid air as a sharp glint flashed in his eyes.

He inspected his internal state; within his Dantian and Qi Sea, his spiritual power had become increasingly condensed and thick, surging incessantly, yet it still fell slightly short of the barrier to the Eighth Layer.

”The further I go, the more spiritual power is required,” Li Yifei sighed inwardly.

The Primordial Yin Power of three True Spirit Root Dao Companions had only brought him close to that threshold; to truly step across, he still needed more accumulation and an opportunity.

He composed himself and turned his gaze to his side.

On the large Jade Bed, his three Dao Companions slept with tranquil and satisfied expressions, as if immersed in the sweetest of dreams.

Li Yifei’s gaze softened as he carefully observed his three new Dao Companions.

One was a delicate and gentle young girl named Su Yuerong; she had a small and exquisite figure with perfect curves, and her skin was as white as freshly peeled lychee.

At this moment, she was curled up like a kitten, her long eyelashes casting faint shadows on her peaceful sleeping face, the corners of her mouth slightly upturned as if she were tasting the joy of a Breakthrough in cultivation even in her dreams.

Another was named Wang Shiqi, who had a rather lively personality and the tallest, most athletic build. Her straight, slender legs stretched out even in sleep, showcasing stunning curves.

Her sleeping posture was quite unrestrained, with one arm draped over the sister beside her, her face flushed with an intoxicating rosy glow, and her brow filled with the relaxation and ease following a Breakthrough of her Bottleneck.

The last one was a classical beauty named Liu Xinyan, with a plump figure and a temperament as warm as jade.

She was like a piece of warm, fine jade, radiating a soothing luster; currently lying on her side, her waterfall-like black hair covered the Jade Pillow, and on her slightly baby-faced visage remained the satisfaction of a spiritual power Breakthrough after Dual Cultivation, looking exceptionally alluring.

After this Dual Cultivation, the cultivation of all three had steadily reached the Second Layer of Qi Refining, with a solid Foundation and pure spiritual power. For Disciples like them who had just entered the sect and were still worrying over a single Spirit Stone, this was no different from a single leap to the heavens.

A sense of satisfaction rose in Li Yifei’s heart. He carefully pulled over a nearby Brocade Quilt and gently covered the three women.

He leaned down and left a tender kiss on each of their smooth foreheads.

Only after finishing all this did he quietly get up, dress himself, and leave the Secret Room without disturbing their sweet dreams.

...

The next morning, when Su Yuerong, Wang Shiqi, and Liu Xinyan woke up, they felt their bodies filled with unprecedented strength, their spirits refreshed.

They exchanged shy yet surprised glances, seeing the same shock and relief in each other’s eyes. Recalling the wonderful experience of the union of spirit and flesh last night, the cheeks of the three women turned burning hot.

They dressed and walked out of the Secret Room somewhat nervously, only to find that Li Yifei was already waiting outside.

”Husband...” the three of them greeted in unison, their voices as soft as the buzzing of mosquitoes, not daring to look up at him.

”Awake?” Li Yifei smiled warmly, walked up to them, and naturally tidied their slightly messy hair. ”How do you feel? Any discomfort in your bodies?”

His movements were natural and intimate, his words full of concern without any hint of disdain or boasting, instantly dispelling the shyness and anxiety in the hearts of the three women.

”No... no discomfort, I feel... very good,” Su Yuerong plucked up the courage to answer in a small voice.

”That’s good,” Li Yifei nodded with satisfaction. ”You’ve just had a Breakthrough and your Foundation isn’t stable yet, so don’t rush to Cultivate these next few days. I had Waner stew some Spirit Porridge to nourish the Divine Soul; go eat something first.”

Saying that, he took the hand of Liu Xinyan, who was closest to him, and led them toward the dining room.

As the warmth from his large hand transferred to her, Liu Xinyan’s heart trembled, and a warm current instantly surged through her entire body. She stole a glance at Li Yifei’s profile; his handsome face and gentle eyes caused her heart to fall for him completely.

In the dining room, Xiao Waner, the newly joined Han Yueling, and the others had already prepared a sumptuous breakfast.

Seeing the three new sisters, the group showed no signs of anything unusual, instead warmly inviting them to sit down.

”Come quickly, sisters, try the ’Hundred Flowers Jade Dew Porridge’ I recently researched; it’s best for nourishing the Meridians,” Xiao Waner said with a beaming smile as she served them the Spirit Porridge.

”After today, we are all one family. If there’s anything you don’t understand or if you lack anything, just speak up. Don’t be polite with us,” even the usually cold Han Yueling spoke up, a sincere smile on her face, though it was still a bit unpracticed.

This harmonious atmosphere allowed the anxious hearts of Su Yuerong and the others to finally settle. There was none of the jealousy or intrigue they had imagined, only the warmth and harmony of a family.

Over the next few days, Li Yifei did not engage in Dual Cultivation with them again. Instead, like a patient elder brother, he took them to familiarize themselves with every corner of Yifei Peak, personally explained their doubts regarding cultivation, and gifted them the most suitable Magical Artifacts and Medicinal Pills based on their respective Cultivation Technique characteristics.

Every action of his silently told them: you are not pets kept in captivity, but members of this family, the Dao Companions of me, Li Yifei, and family members whom I will protect and nurture with all my heart.

This respect and treasuring were more effective at winning people’s hearts than any resources.

In just a few short days, the three new Dao Companions had completely devoted themselves and fully integrated into the warm and powerful collective of Yifei Peak.

The way they looked at Li Yifei had also transformed from initial awe and a transactional mindset into deep dependence and adoration.

By this point, the interior of Yifei Peak was as solid as a monolith, with all the women united in purpose. And Li Yifei’s gaze began to turn toward more distant horizons.
