Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2955: Chapter 2953: Spoiled by the Grand Elder

”I’m telling you two, could you stop looking so gloomy? There’s nothing wrong with me, but seeing you like this makes me feel oppressed.” Nangong Beiying looked at her two sisters, who seemed overly worried, and she was really overwhelmed by them.

”Alright, got it, Miss.” What else could Qin Xue say, anything would do, she thought. If she didn’t want to bring it up, then they wouldn’t bring it up either.

”Yingying, how’s Qing Teng doing now?” Qin Xue remembered the girl Qing Teng. After breaking her spell, she didn’t know how Qing Teng was doing now.

Was her body still showing any discomfort? This was an outcome she had considered before, but since Qing Teng hadn’t come to her, she didn’t know if that was the case.

”She’s busy teaching Munara. It seems that girl has a crush on someone, and Qing Teng is afraid she’ll be deceived, so she’s investigating the person’s background.” Nangong Beiying shared Cloud’s previous report, surprised that the girl found trouble soon after arriving here.

Once people came here, they became Qing Teng’s responsibility. There was no choice but to care for them, and it was mentally and physically exhausting.

So now, Qing Teng is acting both as a dad and a mom. She also has to take care of that little ancestor. It would have been better if she hadn’t come at all.

”I get it now. It seems the little girl isn’t easy to handle. Didn’t she like Zakeer before? How did she switch targets so quickly?” Qin Xue couldn’t understand how one could change affections so rapidly.

”The word is, Zakeer’s affection is for Qing Teng, and she realized that after all these years of not living with Qing Teng, things haven’t been easy for her. So, she doesn’t want to snatch even this from her and thus shifted her attention.” Nangong Beiying found Cloud’s words amusing; she was drinking water at the time and nearly spit it out, almost choking herself.

At that moment, she should have laughed out loud; instead, she just wanted to hear how it would develop further.

”The girl was spoiled by the Great Elder and used to always target Qing Teng. Coming out, she now knows the world isn’t as beautiful as she imagined, so her mindset changed. In a way, that’s good; at least Qing Teng won’t have to live so oppressed.” Qin Xue understood Qing Teng’s situation very well.

”That girl has always been strong-willed since she came to the organization, but unexpectedly, she’s quite kind to her half-sister.” Nangong Beiying thought Qing Teng was overly deprived of love. Family affection was rare for her; she longed for it but couldn’t get it. That’s why Munara’s behavior touched her heart.

”I think the Great Elder is thinking long-term; this pit directly buried Qing Teng.” Qin Xue disapproved of the Great Elder’s actions, but she didn’t have reasons to say anything against it.

However, the way he treated Qing Teng was really a bit too much.

Even she, an outsider, found it distressing, let alone Qing Teng herself.

Only, back then, the Holy Servant didn’t know what he was thinking either, why he withdrew so easily. He should have dragged them into suffering as well.

Most of the time, Qin Xue wouldn’t have such extreme thoughts, but once her bottom line was crossed, she wouldn’t care about any kind of situation.

And yet, Qing Teng did nothing, showing that she truly had something different in her heart.

Perhaps she was too eager for family in her heart, so when facing Munara, she just couldn’t bring herself to do anything harsh.

But was this kind of thing really good? Didn’t she feel like she was bearing responsibilities that weren’t hers?

Even if they’re half-sisters, so what? Her dad doesn’t care, so why should she?
